Lily smiled sheepishly.
"Yes it's been awhile, but it seems like just yesterday doesn't it?" She smiled and took Darius's hands. She ws unsure of why Derek had wanted to come here, or what he'd think if Darius and Lily began dancing, because seeing this place again, and being here with Darius made her want to dance.

Derek smiled. Lily was in her lovestruck state, and he was not afraid to take advantage of it. He walked up behind her and tapped her on the shoulder, but before she turned around he wispered
"Dance with me." He then stepped into her view as she turned, and he bowed to her before putting his hand out for hers and saying
"May I have this dance?" Even if there was no music he would still dance with Lily this was a crutial place for him to use his power and he knew it.

Lily felt a tap on her shoulder, and then heard the almost melodic voice of Derek, and as she turned she saw him and smiled. She curtsied to Derek then took his hand.
"Yes you may." They began dancing together, no music at all, but Lily dind't notice. Derek's steps flowed with her perfectly, almost as if they were ment to be dance partners. She wasn't thinking about Darius, so she didn't know what he looked like or what he was feeling at this point, and in the daze that she was, she didn't much care, the hypnosis had her.

A flare went up in Darius's head. What was Derek up to! It would have been fine if Lily hadn't started by asking Darius to dance, but he didn't think that someone would change there minds so quickly.
"Derek...what do you think you are doing!!!"
It took a lot of energy not to go crazy on him right then and there.

Derek smiled as he heard Darius's thoughts. (They are thoughts right? I mean you have them Italicized, but they also have quotations around them.....) He knew this was probably eating Darius up inside, so he decided to lay it on a little thicker.
"Lay your head on my shouler." He wispered to Lily as they continued to Dance around the empty hall.

Lily gently lay her head on Derek's shoulder, doing as she was told almost immideatly after the command. They continued to dance around the floor, no music to get a rymthum too but they still seemed very intune with each other as the moved. Lily had a small smile on her face as Darius still hadn't even crossed her mind.

Darius was fuming...this guy was up to no good. He couldn't do anything about it though! That's what irked him. He could only do the polite thing and ask for them to stop dancing.
"Um...I don't mean to be rude but may I dance with her now?" he said it politely but his eyes showed iritation.

Derek looked at Darius. His eyes showed his irritation. Should he show Darius what control he had over Lily? Derek badly wanted too, wanted to show Darius that he wasn't so protecting of her afterall, for if he was, then he would have never let this happen. Derek smiled and looked at Lily.
"No." Was all he said to Darius, Lily was still in her hypnotic trance so she still had her head on his shoulder.
"Maybe later....if your nice.....maybe never...ever again...if your not." Derek felt proud of himself. He'd made his first enimy at Ria, and not only that, he had his girlfriend hypnotised.

Darius's eyes narrowed...When he had a chance...he would be talking with Lily...something was definately wrong here. He moved back away from the two of them and leaned against the wall. He sighed and looked at the ground, but keeping his ears sharp.

Derek finally let Lily go and bowed one last time to her before resuming a place on the wall next to Darius.
"She's a great dancer." Derek smirked at Darius before looking at Lily again.
"Ya, and someday.....someday soon actually......that girl is going to be mine." He nodded, crossing his arms as he looked at Darius, waiting for a responce.

Lily stopped dancing with Derek and curtsied to Derek before also taking a place at the wall. As soon as her hands dropped the hypnosis stopped and she didn't recall the dance at all. She noticed Derek had said something to Darius, but she didn't know what it was, and just assumed it was guy talk and thought nothing more about it.
"Well Derek, you've seen the Dance Hall, so where else would you like to go?"

Darius looked at him and shook his head, "I doubt that...we have a connection, a bond...I don't think you can break that. No matter what you try, subversion, confusion, hypnosis, it won't break."
Darius would have liked to break all ties to him right then and there, but he and Lily needed him for their mission to free the slaves. He had to stay with them. Even though he didn't like it he had to live with it...

Derek just smiled and shook his head at Darius.
"We'll see." He then turned to Lily and smiled.
"Actually Lily, I've got some unpacking to do, I think I'm going to head up my dorm and do some unpacking......besides, I think you two have some talking to do." Derek looked at Darius mischieviously, as if to say 'Go ahead, tell her about me' daring him almost to tell her.
"See yall." And with that Derek walked out of the Dance Hall and towards the dorm rooms.

Lily waved to Derek as he left, then turned her attention to Darius. She had him sit down away from the wall and she sat on her heels behind him abd slowly masaged his shoulders.
"Now tell me whats bothering you." She said softly knowing that Darius was upset about something, but what exactly it was, was unknown to her.

Darius sighed as Lily massaged his shoulders gentley. It calmed him down slightly and this made it easier for him.
"Ok...Lily...Derek is after you...And I don't mean physically I mean romantically...Because just a few minutes ago you were dancing with him and you were being forced to I don't know how but you seem to be oblivious too it..."
