Ares felt himself being pushed backwards along with Vlad, but he still had full motor function of his arms. While he was being pushed back, he swung his spear from the spot that was blocking Vlad's spear shaft and attempted to whack him in the temple, to possibly knock him out or at least blind him for a few seconds. With Vlad being frozen in place, surely the spear would make a solid hit against Vlad's head.

۩Vladimir Komarovski ۩ ~Profile~  ((lol it's kinda difficult to hit the temple with the long part of a stick xD )) Ares tried to thwack Vlad with the side of the stick, but it instead just hit the entire side of his head as opposed to that one spot. But even if he didn't his temple, Vlad still saw stars afterwards. I his vision momentarily darkened from the hit, and he responded by raising up both his arms, and swung down the stick at Ares head. As Vlad raised his arms and swung the stick downwards, Ares knew he wouldn't be able to stop the stick from hitting his head. So instead of trying to block the stick, he tried to uppercut Vlad right in between both of his arms in the jaw as soon as his arms were all the way raised. Since not only was his vision blurred, but his arms were up, the uppercut had a good chance of hitting. Since it would hit Vlad's jaw, a sensitive knockout area, it would deal further damage to Vlad and possibly knock him out again. Ares then felt the stick crack his head, and he saw stars as well too.

۩Vladimir Komarovski ۩ ~Profile~ Vlad wasn't able to see the punch coming because of his hindered sight. But when he had raised his arms, and down again, he wobbled to the side because he was still rattled by the blow to the head. The stumble caused him to move to the side, away from the uppercut, and completely miss his swing at Ares head. Even with the miss, Vlad kept his left arm up, and raised the stick up again to stab at Ares side. [Level 1][Energy: 150]-Skills used- -Skill cool down-

Aress now had enough time to react, and swung his half of the stick to stop Vlad from stabbing him. He then backed up a little bit, giving himself some breathing room. He needed some time to regain energy, and to think. He knew if he landed one or two more good blows to Vlad's head, he would surely knock him out.

۩Vladimir Komarovski ۩ ~Profile~ Vlad took a moment for his vision to return to normal, and watched to see if Ares would came after him. When he saw that he didn't, he sighed, took the stick in his hand, and broke it in half. He then tossed the pieces of the wood off to the side, and ran at Ares. Once he was close enough, he lifted his arms up in a boxer stance to better defend an attack, and kicked to the side of Ares knee, trying to trip him and send him to the ground. Ares waited for Vlad to run at him. As Vlad attempted to kick at Ares's leg, Ares brought the spear shaft down as swiftly as he could, attempting to injure Vlad's kneecap. Even if he hit Vlad's kneecap, the kick would more than likely still connect to Ares's leg, just with far less damage to him than to Vlad. As he did this he kept his other arm up close to his body to protect him from other punches, kicks, etc.

۩Vladimir Komarovski ۩ ~Profile~ The kick that Vlad used was actually a fake, caring less about hitting him than actually keeping track of what he would use the broken spear shaft for. So instead of actually kick Ares, he just took a larger step, and put his weight behind a punch to his mid section. But before the actual punch, he swung his hand out, glowing white as he focused the carbon into it, and grabbed onto the stick that was about to hit his knee. [Level 1][Energy: 150-25=125]-Skills used- Carbon limb Rank: D-rank Description: The user is able to manipulate the carbon in their body moving it to a designated limb. Though it would only go from elbow down, or knee down depending on which limbs they choose.. The arm or leg will turn a black color and be able to withstand D-rank and below attacks Anything above will shatter the armor revealing the skin below. For each level the limb can maintain the carbon limb a little longer. Don't misunderstand this skill. It isn't just for defense. The punches from this can deal great blunt force damage. One punch may feel like you were hit by a sledge hammer. (Cool-down period 4 posts) -Skill cool down-

As Vlad went to grab the stick , Ares lifted the stick out of the way and spun to the right. This allowed him to not only stop Vlad from grabbing the stick,but evade the punch as well. He when he finished the spin, he turned and looked at Vlad, who was now approximately three feet away.

۩Vladimir Komarovski ۩ ~Profile~ Vlad quickly took two steps towards Ares and and started punching his neck and chin with both his regular hand, and his carbon encrusted one. He then finished it off with an elbow to the side of his head. [Level 1][Energy: 125-25=100]-Skills used- Straight Blast Rank: D Description: A simple chain-punch combination that can dish out a lot of damage very quickly. Once in close range the user first unleashes 3 or 4 chain-punches to the opponent's chin/throat before bringing closing with a powerful elbow. All the while to user moves forward with their punches to blast the opponent off balance and finally send them to the ground with the final blow.This technique can also be linked up well with a close ranged kicking maneuver immediately afterwards. -Skill cool down-

Ares smiled, remembering that even though the spear was broken, he still had use of it and the skills he had learned. While Vlad was taking two steps forward before he started his chain of punches, Ares had flipped his spear around and attempted to knock Vlad into the air with the blunt end, where he would be able to use other techniques.

۩Vladimir Komarovski ۩ ~Profile~ Seeing the thrust coming Vlad decided to respond to it instead of continuing with his punches. He lowered the hand that was covered in carbon, and grabbed onto the piece of wood as it hit him. He would be surprised at first that the attack would lift him up, but would quickly get over it, and try to punch Ares in the noes with his free hand. [Level 1][Energy: 100]-Skills used- -Skill cool down-

Since the staff was around five feet long and had lifted Vlad in the air, Ares didn't need to worry about Vlad's punch making contact with him, due to the fact that the man's arm wasn't nearly long enough. Instead, when Vlad Grabbed the spear Ares saw it as an opportunity. Using all of the strength he could manage, He slammed the spear down onto the ground with Vlad still clutching onto it.
