"Oh?" Liz grinned. "What, you gonna punish me, big boy?" she challenged and started poking him, ruffling his hair, anything just to spite him.

Shinzo motioned a hand up to her face, sliding it against her cheek slowly.
" Hhhmm...but what punishment would be good enough for you? I've endured so much through my years, but I'm not sure I know exactly what would suit you..."
He stated, a wide, wicked smile and stare illuminating his face.

She didn't know whether to blush or huff. "I can handle anything you can." she said defiantly and crossed her arms, trying not to squint from how bright he was getting.

He knelt down, nearing his face to hers quickly. Without hesitation, it was like that, a kiss and blissful embrace.

Liz was completely taken by surprise by the kiss, she couldn't even react fast enough. The only thing that did happen quickly was a blink and a burningly bright blush. "I-I, uh...." she stammered, not quite sure if that was real.

He just laughed, lying next to her.
" You're just too easy to please....hahaha.... "
Although, Shinzo liked it like this. It was relaxing and the mood never changed to anything but good. It was nice.

He brushed the hair from his eyes, regaining clear vision of the room around him.

"Oh yeah? Well... You're just.... just... a big, tough guy, aren't you?" Liz sneered but was unable to hold the look for too long, for it was late at night, and Liz was getting tired, her drooping eyelids made that quite clear. But she would not be the first to fall!

" Ok, I see how it is. I guess I have to prove I'm a 'tough guy'. "
He noted, picking her up softly, slowly, he held her up and close, walking up the stairs. He makes it up to the bedroom, laying her under the covers on the edge of the bed.
" I'll wait for you to fall asleep, then. "
He said, sitting on the edge of the bed. His soothing voice cut with echoes only in memory, as only the sounds of buzzing in the silence rang and the beatings of hearts. It was dark except for the dim light from the cracked door and the illumination from Shinzo's own yellow eyes.

Liz squeaked when he picked her up, she wrapped her arms around her neck and wiggled her legs around, yelling all the horrible things she would do if he even considered dropping her.
She was awake by then, but that all vanished when she hit the bed. The cozy, comfy bed. "Wait for me to... to fall asleep? That's just - " She yawned. "- Creepy. What time is it?"

He pondered the thought.
" I'm guessing an hour or two after midnight. Get some rest, alright? "
Shinzo leaned on his palms, looking at the ceiling while he spoke.

"I refuse to sleep... until.... yooou hawwaa sweeeeaaaaaaah" The entire last half of Liz's sentence was cut off by her yawn. "Sorry about that. Now where was I? Oh yeah!" She crossed her arms defiantly. "I refuse to sleep until you do!"

Liz quirked an eyebrow and leaned a little forward. Was he really sleeping? No way! There was no way someone could just sleep on cue! She leaned a little closer and inspected him thoroughly. Y'know, he was kinda cute all asleep and relaxed. Liz would've smiled if she wasn't so suspicious and sleepy herself.
