It took a few minutes for Birhan to relax her fighting stance. Part of her had expected Tanzanite to be playing a ruse, to teleport herself behind them and continue the attack. But apparently she was even more disgusted with the Prince of Earth than they were. This was disturbing. The most fearsome General of the Negaverse had just quit the field because she was disappointed in them for not outright killing Endymion.

"That's not our way," she said to the empty air. It was frustrating. For all that she knew it would have made no difference, Birhan hated that Tanz had gotten the last word in, without them being able to inform the General that the spineless coward was next. Perhaps Tanzanite should have been flattered that she was still the most deadly, and wanted, target on the battlefield.

Ah well. Not any longer.

There were still Negaverse agents around them - the tiny blue General with his smokebombs, and the redhaired archer - but Birhan was ignoring them. She trusted that Ares, the yellow shirtless guy, and Themis could defend Birhan's back if someone went for her.

Pissed off, frustrated, and more than a little disillusioned with the entire event, Birhan stalked her way over Endymion. Clenching her fist, she let fly at his face with her full, trained strength.

She almost felt better, even with knowing that Ares was watching and would probably pull her 'Birhan, I am DISAPPOINT' face. That was fine. Birhan suspected that Ares wouldn't be against the punch itself, just how it reflected on the BMC. And Birhan was fine with taking the heat, rather than wait for Ares to lose her temper first. Birhan's chosen Queen was not getting in trouble over such a worthless piece of scum.

"How pathetic," she sneered at Endymion. In front of his own daughter, no less. "I can see I was right to follow Ares over you and your family."

Killing might not be their way. But punching sure as hell was.

Righteous and just? No. Eon, Eon had been a righteous Prince, a just Prince, someone that Virgo could follow and believe in. Someone Virgo could trust, and love, and mourn when he was gone. Temple of lies, Prince of traitors... accurate words. She couldn't believe she'd ever agree with monstrous Tanzanite on anything--probably, if the violet-haired Negaverser had said the sky was blue Virgo would have said cyan, just to argue. But on this...

She spared a glance for Chibimoon, but Themis was there. She could hold the protection over her three for a few minutes longer if she didn't have to move; so she stayed. "Princess? Are you alright," she asked, but a quick look seemed to indicate Chronos was just fine.

There was still a battle raging around them, and with the immediate threat gone Virgo looked towards Sassolite. In a situation like this, it'd be better for her to let Chronos, Neso or Chibimoon take their licks; her muscles were tensed in case she had to put herself between Themis and an assailant.

Endymion, as far as she was concerned, could protect himself. She pursed her lips, turning slightly to watch the battle. "Themis, look after Chibimoon." They didn't know who they could trust.

At first everything had been going beautifully. The Prince of the rock they all could call home had shown up in a hallmark moment. Father and daughter were hugging like its was a scene from yet another Disney movie or one of those chick flicks Marlo sometimes rented and were in french, (films all in goddamn gibberish). And then of course, like a bull in the china shop of life, Tanzanite came in and just ******** s**t up like a boss.
Castor was out a metaphors. Castor was also out of time. Chibimoon was held hostage by Tanzanite. Tanzanite, who would not hesitate. Tanzanite, who could kill. Tanzanite, the wild amazon who he'd watch turn from woman to beast. And now the rift of chibimoon, the direct decendant of Serenity was in her grasp. The future princess of both earth and moon, held in the hands of the the most violent of all the negaverse.

Worst case scenario. He couldn't just attack the nega agent. She'd kill chibimoon before he'd reach them. He need to make sure chibi was safe. If chibimoon died...No, he couldn't let that happen. He wouldn't let that happen. And from the cry the echoed, neither would Virgo. She'd told him of her attack, or, rather her magic. The virgin was a shield, a living sacrifice, placing helfelf in harms way to save others. But...Even with it in place, if Tanzanite aimed to kill Chibi, Virgo would take the hit. The decision had to be made. Looking for a moment at Virgo and then at chibimoon, Castor knew a gut renching reality. This was war. In war...
Castor ran to Tanzanite, fist raised. He had made his choice. This was war, sometimes, casualties had to happen.

A smile on his face the other senshi had come to Chibimoon's aid. She was not alone. She was safe. Virgo would survive another day. His run stopped short as he watched Tanzanite fade. But her words rang in his ears and his heart felt those words.
She had been human once, she had loved once. Now the darkness had warped her, twisted her into a monster, but in her words Castor saw that flicker. She believed she was to protect her. That was her love now, that perhaps, was all that remained of the human heart of the woman who a year ago had sat under bleachers and drank until the sun and moon had shown in the heavens together.

But that was not is concern. Right now the battle had changed. "Chibimoon!" Castor moved to her, nodding at Themis as he arrived. "You and your father need to get somewhere safe, we can't risk loosing you both!" Another agent appeared as he said this, a captain, their dagger catching him on his arm before, he could throw them off to the ground and stomp on their arm. "You both need to get out of here!"

Hit after another landed on the body of the body of guardian cat girl whose body was not suited for for the battlefield. She was not a fighter, not trained for this and thus it was no problem for Serandite to tackle her ground and land hits on her. She begged general to stop, her voice whimpering and squeaky. It was futile attempt, to even think about someone from Negaverse would feel mercy for her. Tears flowed from her eyes, for pain and for regret. She should had never left from Hypnos' arms. How she could protect Hypnos if the general beated life out of her?

But suddenly, the pink-haired girl stopped hitting her for a moment. Confused, she glanced at the same direction as Serandite had looked and noticed Tanzanite threatening Chibimoon's life. Cold shivers ran through her body and pink pupils squinted in tiny dots as she realized that Hypnos was around there. Or at least she thought so. That was it. This needed to stop. She couldn't waste time here, getting beated like a ragdoll in bullies' hands.

The cat girl turned her head to face the negaverse general, her gaze now determited, it also reflected some kind of compassion. "I'm sorry," she said, her voice surprisingly soft. Serandite could feel Cora's hand around her arm, holding it firmly. Then, same happened to other arm. She could see guardian's cat face coming slowly towards her. A star sign on her forehead started flickering light, this time faster than last time when she had almost hit Tanzanite. Cora's grip tightened. "I have to go now." Blinding light from guardian cat girl's forehead shot towards Serandite like a bullet, aimed right between her eyes.

Cora's grip loosened and she let go of the negaverse officer. She felt sorry for the girl and hoped that she would forgive her, which she most likely would not do because she was in the opposite side and she had caused her major headache.

Cora turned in her cat form and ran into the growth. She had to find Hypnos.

"I've got her." Themis replied with a nod to Virgo as she went on. Themis didn't move from where he was standing, overlooking the pink-haired Chibimoon, making sure no one took the opportinuty to rush her all anew.

Castor arrived, and he nodded. "We need to get her somewhere safe..."

As for their supposed prince ? Well, he fully approved of Birhan's opinion on the matter. "He threw Chronos at that General to save himself." He muttered to the eternal senshi of hail. "I can't... respect that." And he wouldn't.
PostPosted: Sun Mar 06, 2011 2:46 pm

"What?" Birhan gaped at Castor as the blue-clad senshi arrived. She had a modicum of respect for him based on his experience and the fact that he'd reached Eternal stage - that couldn't happen without a lot of battle experience under his double-belts. She'd heard rumours of his training camp, too, and approved. Even though the Castor that spoke up in meetings was... sometimes less than worthy of that respect. Nevertheless, respect was there. It was rapidly fading under his assertion that Chibimoon and Endymion flee - together.

"Did you miss what that coward did?" she demanded, almost choking over her words in disbelief. "She's your princess, not mine, I realise. But I wouldn't trust him with her, unless you want her dead the moment someone threatens him."

This was not her princess. Birhan had Ares, a far more worthy queen in every way. But still, these people needed to take better care of the person they had chosen to follow. Birhan wouldn't let Ares go off alone with Endymion, even knowing that Ares could break every bone in the prince's body without trying.

Themis, at least, seemed to be on the ball. It was good to know that not everyone was going to follow, or forgive, Endymion based solely on his royal blood.

... On the plus side, this could be a great recruiting opportunity. She'd have to keep an eye on who else was utterly disillusioned by Endymion.

Sirius saw Birhan's actions and ran over as soon as the general was gone, she wanted to know what was going on and though fighting was still happening in a way it seemed to be easing, as if the big finale has been already.

She got to Birhan and stood next to her looking at what she had done to Endymion and being rather impressed. She looked at him and asked a simple question followed by a not so simple one.

"Is everything that general said true? If so why are you here?" She was ready to fight if anyone came near but she wanted to hear this, for her own curiosity and because Birhan and Ares weren't far off and would possibly hear his answer. Sirius would not follow someone like him but she had heard Castors words to Chibimoon and it worried her that some might like him. Who could like someone who was more then willing to sacrifice someone innocent like Chronos?
PostPosted: Sun Mar 06, 2011 2:54 pm

Politics had never been Ares' strong suit, but she was learning fast. Before, she had been the muscle of a political faction, not a politico herself. Endymion had, in her mind, always been the hand-waving, baby-kissing type. It was the kind she never understood. Ares believed in action and reaction, not formal sit-downs and hand-patting. Now he seemed to have learned to take action -- and that action appeared to be against both the senshi and the Negaverse.

When Tanzanite spoke of a kingdom of corpses, Ares felt an unexpected pang of relief. The world was flawed and broken, and the people on it too. She imagined, for a time, a world of her own design: one of order and pride and great coliseums and scarred battlefields heralded as monuments to the warriors of old. She saw this world and felt happiness. The earth as it existed now was not a place that she thought of as home. It was her home in utero; it was a world that she needed to fix.

Ares was snapped from her reverie as one of Sassolite's arrows pierced her in the arm. It hadn't gone too deep, thankfully, and she pulled it free, tossing it to the ground and immediately banking left to avoid the rest of the volley. In that moment, Ares lost sight of Tanzanite, and when she turned back, the Negaverse General was gone.

There, Ares saw weakness. Running from a fight because of emotion? That was how the senshi saw it. It pleased her, even, to see Tanzanite so stricken. The monster general was capable of pain -- emotional pain -- and Ares logged that knowledge away for later use.

Birhan was moving again, apparently to attack the Prince. "Birhan," Ares said firmly. She was, on one hand, utterly pleased of the girl's actions. But Birhan was just about to throw a punch at a Prince, a Prince who could kill her quite easily. He had thrown Chronos in harm's way -- of what consequence would a regular sailor be to him? Worry pricked in Ares' chest. The Blood Moon Court couldn't afford to potentially have all of the White Moon senshi rise up against them either.

Ares made a mental note to thank Sassolite for the arrow to the arm, but for now, she needed to make sure that she didn't lose one of her Inner Sanctum senshi in a moment of the girl's rage. At the last moment, Ares reached Birhan and wrenched her arm backward, preventing her from the throwing the punch. She immediately tugged both of them out of range of Endymion's sword, but still close enough to speak with him. Sirius was close by with her own questions, a mini-united BMC front.

"You have a knack for polarizing people," Ares said, every muscle in her body tense. She didn't trust him, even if he was on the senshi side (which he had yet to prove), to award her any kindness. "Prove yourself to us then, if you are the Prince of Earth." She narrowed her eyes. "Cast out the Negaverse, preserve Elysion for the senshi. Or give that lovely Crystal to someone who will." Ares didn't raise her hand, but she sort of wanted to.

Sailor Neso took a firm hold of Princess Chronos' hand and ran straight for Chibimoon. "Don't worry, Prince, we'll get her!" he shouted, racing ahead of Chronos. Apparently, Neso had not viewed the situation as Virgo had. He simply assumed that Endymion's action were part of some larger plot that he did not understand.

Corvus didn't bother with sticking around to see where Arsinoe's attack landed, more concerned with getting him somewhere slightly safer before heading back into the fray to find his partner; the senshi Denebola. She eased him to the ground, leaning him carefully against a tree before eying him over. "Arsinoe... Are you sure you're alright? That you're going to be alright if I go back in there?"

The look she received from her cousin was powerful enough to know that right now it wasn't him she should be worrying about, but everyone who was still out there. As long as he didn't die here in Elysion she could make sure to fuss over him properly once they were out; once they were all out.

Content that he was safe, at least for the moment, Corvus headed back in, fingers clenched into fists ready to stop the first person who got in her way from keeping her from her task. "Denebola!" She cried out as she searched around, coming to an uncertain halt at the sight of Tanzanite threatening Chibimoon.

Her heart leaped from her chest up into her throat, lingering there along with a sickness coupled with the knowledge that she couldn't pull her eyes away. Tanzanite was going to kill again and, once more, she couldn't do anything but stand there and watch. She was so disgusted with herself and yet that feeling didn't go away until the General of her nightmares... Gave up? Wait. What? No, there was something decidedly not right about that. Why would she just give up?

Something wrong was going on here in Elysion, something Corvus wasn't certain she could come anywhere near touching... Something that had to do with the man in black with the red sash... Something...

Her train of thought, wherever it had been headed, was cut short as an unnamed Negaverse agent clipped her shoulder with their first. It was what she got for letting herself be distracted from her task; more pain added on to the confusion, and the delight of seeing their eyes go wide as she summoned her power to send them flying backwards so that she could resume her search for Denebola while edging closer to the group surrounding Endymion and Chibimoon.

Bellatrix Had taken to fending off those who she could, although she wasn't sure she was doing to well in that regard. She hadn't missed the senshi-shield the so-called Prince Endymion had used. That was...despicable.

And that seemed like a common consensus.

A moment's distraction found Bellatrix on the ground. This seemed to satisfy her target, who moved on. "What a damn ******** this turned out to be..." Bellatrix growled, more to herself than anyone else nearby.

Who's battle was this? Endymion's? Or the Negaverse vs. Senshi? Was it all for one and one for all, truly? So many would leave this battle confused, convictions torn. Not Bell. That had happened already. Her eyes had been opened. And she could see the senselessness of this entire fight.

---

Bismuthite could scarecely believe what he was seeing with his own eyes. And he was admittedly quite confused. Who was This prince? It was Tanzanite's roar of traitor that had pulled his attention their way, and from there he had watched.

Watched, but didn't seem to understand. The newbie failed to comprehend what was happening.

He didn't know hoe to act, what to do, if he could do anything. He hated feeling so confused and powerless. Hated it the same way so many seemed to be hating the darkly-clad Prince Endymion. Negaverse Agent and Senshi alike seemed to be united in their hate.

And that was all the more confusing for the Lieutenant. A pale brow furrowed. He remained motionless. Bismuthite watched things play out. Unsure.

And he hated it.

If Ares hadn't spoken, Birhan would simply have changed her swing to hit whoever was daring to interfere. But Ares was more than just her leader, Ares was Ares. There was a plan here, and likely more forethought and consequences and politics than Birhan could comprehend. So Birhan relaxed her arm under Ares' grasp, lowering it to her side when it was eventually released.

Her suspicious glare at Endymion didn't decrease. Moving to Ares' left and just behind, Birhan took up her usual position by her leader. She was defense, a united front, and a willing hand to do what Ares could or would not for political reasons. Sometimes a leader needed clean hands or deniability. Birhan was more than happy to let Ares have both, if she so desired. She waited. Both she and Ares knew that all Ares had to do was say the word, and Birhan would be back at Endymion's throat.

"If you value your life, I'd do as Ares says," Birhan said, cold and calmer than she thought she could be. It was a wonder what having your queen at your side could do for your temper. "We won't tolerate an attempt to flee, with or without Chibimoon."

For whether she was worth following or not, Chibimoon was still a senshi. And while the BMC would never bend knee to her, neither would they let this man of unknown intentions remove her from the sight of others.

Captain Alumo would have laughed had he not been in the situation he was in. Him? Vulnerable? Hardly. He just happened to be in a slightly rough predicament, but it was nothing that he couldn't handle. He continued clawing at Ganymede's arms, though he was paying more attention to what was going on around them, watching as the Prince was caught by Tanzanite's arm, and then as the Prince offered Chronos as a sacrifice, and then again as Chibimoon was caught up in the General's grasp... and then as Tanzanite disappeared.

His dark eyes widened in horror as she vanished from the battle field, unable to figure out what was going on. Did she leave on purpose?? Did something disrupt her dreaming?? Was she going to be okay?? What the hell was going on?? He could see Sassolite still fighting, doing what she could to attack the Prince and the Senshi around him. Thank goodness she was on top of things, but if she wasn't careful, she was going to get herself killed. They really couldn't risk letting another one of their own die.

The water was already pink enough with blood. They couldn't risk being any more careless...

Alumo forced himself to his feet, pulling Ganymede from the water as well, before twisting his body to try and throw the small Senshi off of him, wanting to get to Sassolite and give her some back up.

"Get the hell off of me, you pathetic being," he hissed, knowing now that Ganymede had no intention of actually killing him. "You're too weak! Pathetic! I don't have time to deal with the likes of you!" Alumo finally agreed, wanting to be rid of the wimp of a Senshi and get on to fighting someone more worth-while.... Like Ares or Castor.

A little bit in over his head? Probably... but they had to get that crystal... Prince or not.

Arsino's Small fires nearly lit off his sleeve and he had to pat them out with a glove. Ares Damned smoke left him feeling followed, watched and judged while he cursed and teleported a few feet away to try and get out of it, but what the 'Prince' had done... by god.

He started laughing, a hold hard wounded kind of laugh of someone who has just seen and heard too much.

"MY GOD... Is THIS what you senshi are all waiting for? This? This... Can you even call him a MAN to throw your princesses in his place? WHAT bravery, WHAT BravADO!" He clapped his hands mockingly even as he cast a glance to one side sure someone was coming but there was no one there.

"If THIS is one of your pillars of Virtue... I can HARDLY WAIT to see what your PRINCESS is capable of... really... REALLY... We should lock you all in with him and just watch him cut your throats while you're sleeping. CONGRATULATIONS... Truly he is your mirror."

At least the Negaverse sacrificed only in need, not cowardice, or such were his feelings on the mater. He could well be one such sacrifice but that was something you had to accept as part of this job.

---
"You...." MuCephei's eyes widened and then narrowed to see the behavior exhibited here on the battle field. Where...where was their unity, where was their faith in each other and their willingness to sacrifice for the greater good when even their newly recovered prince just made such a terrible show of cowardice. No...she would never follow that, she could not forgive it... how it must have hurt his Daughter...
Her fists were clenched into knots of fury, he was no senshi, and father of Chibimoon or not she could never owe him fidelity.
She glanced at [b}Ricktorite with that same fury on her face, she had never killed, but just then she almost felt she could make an effort at it.

"Very poor timing to see you again, "BAD BLOOD RIBBONS!" She flicked them at him in a furious whip-arc.

-A matching sting sailed through her shoulder, sending Juno to her knees. Her eyes searched for Chibimoon, finding her as her vision began to swim, The large and scary woman was gone.. fuku wearing figures were surrounding Chibimoon protectively.

It was alright now.. She was alright now.

Her head was throbbing with each beat of her heart, head swimming for the loss of blood and shooting pain. She sank onto her hands, and then down into the shallow water before she was gone.-

Castor looked up from the pink haired princess. For now, "Attend to the princess kay?" Themis could handle it. He'd seen the menshi before, he was a fighter, he could at least provide help and cover. A wink to the tiny royal. "Stay safe Chibimoon." A quick bent ear towards Themis. "Don't leave her alone. If anything, guide to the zodiacs. Virgo will keep her safe, so will Chronos."

Endymion throwing Chronos was...concerning. Battle or not, that wasn't something to be overlooked. If he was a man he'd fight. At the very least, he'd fight for his daughter right? Castor was making his way towards the prince of earth, pausing to address Birhan. "We can't afford to lose earth's nobility to a stray arrow, but yes-" Blue eyes honed on the prince. "I'm aware." The prince was now being talked to by another scout. The move to throw Chronos hadn't sat well. s**t on a stick with deep fried crap on the side. Last thing they needed was to lose hope. a** or not, he was the prince. Even if he wasn't with them, they couldn't risk the negaverse getting a hold of him.

"Endymion." Castor, had arrived. "You're a prince, should know it's not nice to throw around princesses like that. It's not how we d things around here." He offered a hand. "Gotta man up and strut your stuff, pretty sure Helios wants to talk but I'd say we have more pressing matters." He flicked his head at the sword. "Don't think you can pull a Kunzite can ya?"

Hope, Light, Love. That was supposed to be what would cast back evil. Castor couldn't afford to lose the hope he'd gained.

Evil if throwing Chronos was total douche move.
