"I don't know..I normally act before I speak. I normally good at this type of stuff." Kana answered looking at the horses, picking out which one she'll ride on. "Um..The pink one." Chi-chi said pointing to a horse on Kaito's right.

"choose your horses already," Nana muttered glancing at Kaitou who was helping Chi-Chi get settled before sitting on the soft tan horse beside it. "Well whatever you're doing, keep doing it. I've never seen him so talkative," Mimi chuckled softly before climbing onto the black stallion that Kaitou had been staring at a moment before. "C'mon, Kana. We're waitin on you," Kaitou smiled softly as he leaned against the pole holding the carousel horse in place.

Kana smiled at Kaito and Chi-chi as he helped her on the horse. "Well I'm glad I'm helping." Kana said with a small smile. "Okay..coming! Kana called, she sat on the white horse that was in front of Chi-chi's horse.

The man at the center of the ride's control system finally started the carousel after a few more seconds. Kaito glanced at Kana and gave her a small smile. He began singing Into the Ocean by Blue October as the carousel spun. Nana and Mimi began giggling at the fact that he'd begun singing without them asking. Afterwards he asked Chi-Chi, "Are you as curious as they are about what happened at my first carnival?"

Kana was surprised at Kaito that he started to sing, she started lipping the words of the song. Chi-chi looked at Kaito, "Sure, Before you do tell what happen I just wanted to tell you that you have a amazing voice." Chi-chi said with a smile. "She's right, you do."

Kaito shook his head slightly as he let out a small laugh. "No, I don't. My voice is average at most," he murmured glancing at Kana. "My first carnival wasn't all that I thought it'd be. My mom brought me smiling and telling me to have as much fun as I could. I had a feeling that she was hiding something, but didn't think much of it. I was only a child who wanted to think the world was a happy place. I saw a clown who looked similar to the one we passed earlier. I was excited to get a balloon so I ran over to him, but by the time I got there, all the balloons were gone. When I turned around, my mother too was gone. I searched everywhere for her, but couldn't find her." He clenched his fist as a serious appearance took it's place back on his face. "I somehow managed to find my way back home, but my dad was yelling at my mom. She told him that she returned me to the place I came from. She said she'd returned me 'back to that flashy Hell on Earth'. He got mad at her and stabbed her. He then left as if nothing had happened. He didn't bother looking for me and vanished from the face of the Earth as I was left with a lifeless corpse or so most would assume. Instead of remaining in that house, I left and began my journey on the streets. After about six weeks, I found myself in a hospital with a couple of cops nearby. They tried asking what happened to my parents and I replied with the words I don't know. After a few days of nurses trying to get me back in healthy shape and able to eat solid foods, I was being welcomed into an orphanage. A week afterwards, I was going to a school and then I wound up with Nana, Mimi and Rath. End of story."

"What ever you say..." Kana said smiling and Chi-chi giggled. "Awwww, Poor Kaito." Chi-chi said frowning. "I'm sorry you had that happen to you. I can't imagine how that feels or how it's like. Kana said, frowning. She felt extremely bad for the things that he had to deal with at such a young age. "No kid should have tragic things like that happen." Kana thought "But we'll never leave you..Right guys?" Chi-chi said glancing at Mimi and Nana. "Right!" Chi-chi said smile at Kaito, trying to cheer him up.

Nana and Mimi were staring at Kaito as if in shock. Kaito simply let out a sigh as he dropped off the side of the horse he'd been on and stepped between Kana's and Chi-Chi's horses, softly laying his hand on Chi-Chi's hand. "It's nothing big. Just the reason I don't get all hyperactive as most people about going to a carnival. It's best not to make promises you're not sure you can keep. You never know if you'll get something fatal that'll kill you," he shrugged slightly before stepping over to Kana and giving her a soft smile. "Don't make me tell you things about my past. It's always better to keep moving forward. Nana. Mimi. E.T. by Katy Perry." Nana nodded slowly before starting to sing what Kaito asked for them to sing. "They're better at singing." He gave Kana a quick wink before walking back to his horse and jumping onto it as if he were a cat.

"Who would be, I know I wouldn't if that was my experience." Kana said looking at Chi-chi knowing she didn't understand the concept of death and Kana always had a hard time explaining it in the right context. "No, I promise with all my heart I won't die or leave you..Pinky promise!" Chi-chi said holding out her pinky. Kana smiled, she wish people could live forever but it's sweet how Chi-chi cares for Kaito so much. "Sorry..not trying to be nosy. I was just curious. It is better to keep moving forward but hate to say it but your past never leaves you.. It always seems to follow you..well that's how it's been for me." Kana said zoning out for not to long, she started to have a quick flashback when her arrogant, self centered, low life step father ((I might have him come for a visit..sometime. Don't know when))came to visit her and Chi-chi at the slave shop. When Kana's flashback ended, she smiled at Kaito. "If you say so.." Kana said rolling her eyes, not believing him.

"You can't promise that," Kaito sighed shaking his head slightly. "You can't promise to live forever, Chi-Chi albeit I cherish the thought." Nana motioned for him to sing again. "Fine. Breaking Benjamin." He began singing Breath as he smiled at Kana. His inner thoughts running along the questions asking why he was opening up to her.

"Why not?" Chi-chi asked looking at Kana. Kana looked at Chi-chi then at Kaito and back to Chi-chi. "I'll explain it to you after the carnival..Okay Chi-chi?" Kana asked, hoping Chi-chi will forget later. Kana wasn't in the mood to explain life. Chi-chi nodded. She smiled back at Kaito thinking of the lyrics as Kaito sang them. She wished she still had her ipod with all her Breaking Benjamin songs but Kaito's singing will have to do.

"Yeah, I don't recognize it ." Kana said wondering why Kaito was opening up to her, It made her happy that he felt he can tell her things but surprised he wouldn't tell Nana or Mimi, since he knew them much longer.

"Told you," Kaito snickered as Nana & Mimi gave a slight shrug. "Avril Lavigne with What The Hell." He jumped off his horse, landing gracefully as the ride finally stopped and he began singing as Rath was leaning against a nearby booth, getting a playful shove by Kaito as he walked past.
"He's ditching us?!" Nana & Mimi exclaimed jumping off their horses. Nana lifted Chi-Chi off her horse as Mimi ran after Kaito who seemed to be messing with Rath and several strangers.

"Yeah..yeah." Kana said rolling her eyes with a smirk. Kana jumped off her horse and ran after Mimi and Kaito. Chi-chi stayed next to Nana. "Where do you think he's going." Chi-chi asked.
