Helen Green Helen was setting the drinks down when she noticed the accessory slipped in. She gazed at her brother then elbowed him in the rips and looked back at the snacks. "One of the star football players inviting a new girl into his dorm? Are you trying to make her fall in love?" she snickered. "That, or get terrified of you. It'll be one hell of a sight to see you hyped up on energy drinks and losing at Uno."

"Please, Sis, she'll love me the second she sees me~" he cooed, dropping a couple bottles of water in. "Just like every other girl! So, you got everything you want?"

Helen Green "Yeah, this should about cover it for the night." Helen nodded and headed to the counter. After about several minutes of items being scanned, their total price came up - $56.38 - and she reached for her wallet. The modeling job paid very nicely, this amount didn't even put a dent in it! Helen swiped her debit card and got everything taken care of before handing the heaviest bags to Keller. "All right, let's get going." she smirked.

Taking the heavy bags with little effort, Keller sighed and followed after her. "You know, I'm got this really bad feeling that I got condoms too small for me," he said as they walked out, letting the door shut behind him. "What do you think?"

Helen Green Helen popped some gum into her mouth and started chewing on it when she heard her brother's comment. She blew a bubble and waited for it to pop before saying, "Only one way to find out."

Reed de Févin "You were my everything.""It's nothing fancy, but it's something." Reed shrugged as the two made their way towards the corner store, his hands in his pockets. He had gotten tired of Alan trying to figure out where to go, and he was getting hungry himself so he subtly directed the shorter male where to go. This was the only place Reed liked to go to himself. He had come across a few restaurants while on his way to music stores, but this was close to the school and had all the snacks he loved. Speaking of which, when Reed walked in he made a B-line for the snacks and started looking over his choices of danishes."Your music will live on."

☸ Alan Brandt ☸ "The science of it all is simple." "Whatever, just pick something," dismissed the physicist, walking around the aisles and trying to pick out what he liked. Alan wasn't much of a snack person, having survived on meager portions for a good portion of his life. Well, that wasn't entirely true. Up until he was sixteen, his father would hold grand feasts just for dinner, convinced that they couldn't eat well enough. It was likely because he was so poor as a young child that he felt the need to give everything and anything to his son. Alan never cared, though. Spotting the candy aisle, the young teacher browsed the selection, having to look around twice and make sure of Reed's position before crouching down and excitedly picking out the sour candies and milk chocolates that he loved as a kid, but had spurned as an adult. Once he'd picked out his fair share, he stood and continued to look around, only to find himself in the toy aisle. The toys were little and cheap, but Alan's inner child was delighted nonetheless. Had Reed reached him right then, he would've found the usually-scowling scientist joyfully giggling as he pressed a button on a little bear that danced around the shelf. "The numbers never lie."

Reed de Févin "You were my everything.""You know, ah..." a voice said from behind Alan. Reed was behind the shelf behind Alan, the only parts of him that were visible being the forearm propped on the shelf and his smiling face. "That's not really food." Chuckling, he into the other teacher's aisle and reached over him to click the button off, thus stopping the bear from dancing and singing. "It's pretty nostalgic, isn't it?" he asked. He was staring at the toy, his hand still on its tiny paw. His eyes brightened with a dreamy glint in them, and though he smiled, there was something sad in it. "My daughter loved these things.""Your music will live on."

☸ Alan Brandt ☸ "The science of it all is simple." Alan jumped as he was caught by the man, wobbling in his crouching position and ended up on his butt on the ground. He looked up as the taller male switched off the bear, staring at it as if it would come to life once again at any moment. Sensing that this wasn't a moment to be snarky (which in itself was a huge leap for the socially awkward physicist), Alan sat Indian-style and carefully lifted a little stuffed pink elephant, setting it on his lap and touching the soft fur. "My mother did, too," he said, fingers rubbing the thin left ear. "When I was little, she used to sneak these little toys into my room. I never liked the big ones Father gave me. I'd never tell him that, though." It took a few moments of silence for the teacher to suddenly remember why they were there, and he stood suddenly, head feeling a little light as he did. Alan bent and grabbed his basket with snacks, tossing the elephant carelessly back onto a shelf. "Come on. I'm hungry." "The numbers never lie."

Reed de Févin "You were my everything."Reed glanced over when Alan reminisced. Past tense, he noted, I wonder if we went through the same thing. When the tinier doctor stood up, Reed smiled and tossed his danishes into the basket. "Heh, I told you some flimsy pieces of bread wouldn't work. What'd you get?" He peered into the basket and dug around to see the food. Maybe he'd snag some."Your music will live on."

☸ Alan Brandt ☸ "The science of it all is simple." Alan attempted to shoo away the music teacher, although he didn't cover up the numerous amounts of candy that were revealed. Cheeks tinted beet red as he tried to keep his head held up high, walking with false pride to the line. "It's just candy," he murmured, biting the inside of his cheek as they stood in line. He glanced back to the elephant he'd discarded, then back to the line. Now wasn't the time to think of his mother. "The numbers never lie."

Reed de Févin "You were my everything."A bead of sweat rolled down the side of Reed's head when he saw nothing but candy. No... food! "You can't seriously use this for your lunch!" he told Alan. Seeing that the man was determined to ignore him, the musician sighed. The more he thought about it, the more this scientist was just an older version of a brat, the way he hated everyone and ate only candy. As Alan stood in line, Reed slowly backed away to look around the store, searching high and low for suitable food. By the time Alan was at the front of his line, Reed was back. Before the scientist could put anything down in front of the cashier, the musician handed her a freshly made hot dog and a large sized fountain drink. He tossed Alan a sideways look as the food was rang up and held it out of his reach until they were done with check out. When they walked out with their treats, Reed handed him the food. "You're not just having bread and candy. Eat some food." he almost ordered."Your music will live on."

☸ Alan Brandt ☸ "The science of it all is simple." Alan didn't speak to the musician the entire time they were checking out, biting his tongue to keep himself from yelling. He was fuming, ready to smack the living hell out of the man just for assuming that the candy wasn't good enough. How dare he? Alan was an adult, not a child anymore, and he didn't need to be commanded around and made to be treated like a kid. He turned his head away from Reed, refusing the food. "You aren't my father, who are you to say what I will and will not eat?!" he spat, crossing his arms and letting the bag dangle from his elbow. He walked, furious at how good the hot dog smelled and at how awful Reed was for assuming that he needed someone to take care of him. He was perfectly happy with his bread back in the classroom, but no, this guy had to just assume that he needed to eat like a normal person! Wasn't the best part of being an adult that he was in charge of himself? That being said, when they finally reached the crosswalk, Alan snatched the hot dog and drink from Reed's hands and tentatively took a bite, ignoring the bliss circling his stomach that had been aching for decent food since high school. He only wondered now if Reed would keep following him to make sure that he ate the whole thing and drank his soda. "The numbers never lie."

Reed de Févin "You were my everything."A bead of sweat rolled down the side of Reed's head and over the vein that throbbed in irritation. This guy was becoming more and more of a brat by the second. Maybe he'd by that dancing bear and play it in front of the scientist the next time he throws a tantrum. Reed was thinking of ways to shove the hot dog into Alan's mouth when he noticed it get taken from his hands. He blinked at his empty palms and looked over to see the scientist grumpily eating it. Excuse me for keeping you alive, he grunted mentally, Ungrateful little- "So!" he started. "How, uh... How are you liking teaching?""Your music will live on."
