Dante shrugged. "Well, basically, any game character who doesn't wanna kill us." He told Sonic.

"That pretty much sums it up." Serenity agreed. She glanced around. "Does anyone else get the feeling we're being watched? And by someone other then Sephiroth and Kutaro?"

Dante smirked. "Party's gonna start again. However, I can get sick of repeat visits, Berial." He called out, pulling Rebellion off his back.
Flames rose from the ground, and so did the conqueror of the Fire Hell. "My revenge awaits me, Devil Hunter!" He roared, raising his gargantuan sword.
Xemnas opened a portal, smirking. "My work here is done." He said to himself, leaving Berial to his fate.

(How BIG is Berial, anyhow? eek )
Serenity noticed a bit of light behind Berial, but it vanished(A.K.A Xemnas leaving). Of course, she passed it off as nothing, and returned her gaze back onto the monster.
"Boy, is he ugly." commented Sonic, grinning. He leaned up against the wall, arms still crossed behind his head. He'd let Dante take care of it; after all, Berial WAS from the Demon Hunter's video game.

(Think a monster from Godzilla, or something. that big, I think.)
Berial's blade came crashing down, but Rebellion stopped it dead in its tracks.
Dante simply chuckled, pulling out Ivory. "Jackpot!" He said, firing at Berial.
The bullets hit Berial, but the demon didn't take much damage.

Serenity observed the fight with interest. Well, she wasn't watching the actual fight, but examining it, feeling something was out of place. Why would Sephiroth send a monster after them, if he knew it would easily be taken care of?

Berial sent a stream of flames at Dante, but the demon hunter managed to roll away.
Dante began strafing around Berial, running and shooting at the same time.

Serenity ran over to Sonic and Tails, so she was farther from the fighting. She stopped and looked back at Berial and Dante. "Don't you find it strange Sephiroth would have Berial attack us again? I mean, he didn't exactly do a very good job last time, did he?"
"Hmmm....You may be onto something."

Dante jumped into the air, swinging Rebellion at Berial's arm, giving the demon a bloody gash.
Berial's sword fell to the ground, so he simply spewed fire once more, but Dante avoided it.

Serenity watched the fight. She absent-mindedly held her breath when the fire spewed at Dante, and realized it, letting go when he avoided it.

Dante smirked, throwing Rebellion into Berial's skull, ending the fight.
Berial burst into flames, but not before realizing that he was betrayed by Sephiroth.

~We can do this....~ Serenity, Tails, and Sonic watched as Berial burst into flames. They waited until most of the flames were gone before running over to Dante.
"Nice job." said Serenity, smiling slightly.
"Hmmm...." Tails examined the spot where Berial was destroyed. ~....As long as we work together~

Dante snapped his fingers, and Rebellion flew back to him. "He was a pushover." He said, catching the sword.

~Hey, wanna see me run to that mountian and back?....~ "For you, maybe. I would have been crushed in two seconds flat." Serenity smiled a bit.
"Hey, Tails, whatcha doin'?" Sonic asked, walking over to the small fox, who was crouched down now, a finger on the ground(still where Berial was destroyed, by the way).
"Looking for evidence to prove my theory." Tails replied, "Hummmm....Ah, here we go." He stood, turning towards them, and holding up something in his fingers.
"Uhm....What are we supposed to be looking at?"
"I'm lost, too."
Tails rolled his eyes. "Look closer."
"I still don't....Oh. Uhm.....Hair?"
"Sephiroth and Kutaro's hair, to be exact."
"And your theory is that Sephiroth and Kutaro are balding?" Serenity raised her eyebrows.
Tails laughed a bit. "No. It proves that Sephiroth did indeed send Berial to fight us, and that Berial didn't come here on his own account. I don't think Berial, let alone anyone, human or demon, would willingly return so soon after a battle. In other words-"
"In other words, Sephiroth is a heartless jerk who sends useless troups to their doom?" Sonic crossed his arms. Tails nodded. Sonic frowned. "Yeah, I'm disliking this guy more and more every minute." ~....Wanna see me do it again?~
