"Artie, nooooooo!" Liam yelled as he tossed himself over the Feraligatr's limp body. He certainly wasn't dead by any means, but Liam had never seen his Pokemon so much as faint and it wasn't something he enjoyed seeing.
"That's it, you... you... YOU!" he cried, grabbing the first Pokemon he felt on his belt. "Get that Aerodactyl!"
Bless stood regally in front of a shocked Liam before turning towards the Aerodactyl and using the only attack it knew: Metronome:
"Toge, toge... TOGEPIII!" he cried before launching in the Aerodactyl's general confusing with an ExtremeSpeed.

Liam lost his first Pokemon, this drew a glance from Faleen, before she finally loosened her grip on Liam, and forced herself to her feet, pulling Liam up with her.
"Get your next one out" she told Liam "We can do this Liam."
she looked to the Aerodactyl, eyes narrowing once again, so this was one of this other pokemon.
She wasn't going to lose this, they were not going to lose this, He was not going to beat Team Rocket!

Basil was lucky with the previous attack, but he was not so lucky now. He was hit hard, and he collapsed onto the cold cave floor. Isadora was shocked, and she withdrew her poor Pokemon back into the safety of his Pokeball, holding it close to her and backing away from the other battling Rockets and Pokemon. As she did, she quietly whispered "I'm sorry..." to both her teammates and her own Pokemon, hurt and battered.

Well at least for whatever reason Steve was surviving these attacks better than Omega. The Leafeon charged forward with another Leaf Blade.

"No! Hiromi!" Kofuku watched in horror as her vaporeon fell and didn't get up. Recalling her back to the pokeball, she gritted her teeth and threw out another pokemon. "KAMISHA! Do your worst! Destroy it! I don't care how, just do it! It hurt your mother!" First her partner, not her beloved pokemon; this was not going well.
Kamisha snickered a little, turning an evil look to the Kingdra. Oh, it hurt her mother? WIthout needing to be encouraged by her trainer, she launched into a Shadow Punch.

Something obviously happened between Lance and Nadja... and Seth was wanting to know what. But that would have to wait. This brought back a memory of Nadja's reaction to Lance's name once.
Frowning, he watched as his Luxray avoided damage yet again and continued attacked.

s**t. Claire pursed her lips as a final attack from the Gyarados sent Odette spiraling towards the ground, but she disappeared in a flash of red light. Her owner clipped the ball back to her belt and removed another, and Zeus appeared in the white light that followed. "Zeus, Thunderbolt the Gyarados," she ordered, and his cheeks sparked gleefully. Oh, it was on. With a cry of "chuu!" he send a powerful bolt of electricity hurtling towards his target.

The raichu dodged out of the way, but was still grazed from one of the Altaria's attacks, and retaliated with another Thunderbolt. Even a graze was like a normal attack from any other pokemon. Nyx was quickly running out of pokemon.

No really, why did the Dragonite decide to pick on the lowly grunt? Leonard scowled as his Leafeon went down and called him back. He tossed out another Pokemon, his Feraligatr, who proceeded to attack with Ice Fang.

One thing was sure, this was not his night. Alexander thought as he dodged out of the way for an attack by the Kingdra. His pokemon was knocked out and it was still aiming in his direction! Well at least the next attack it had made wasn't at him.
