He walked over and to place his hands on her shoulder. "Xena....talk ta me...." he pleaded.

Xena: She remained silent when Raph placed his hands on her shoulder before lowering her head slightly.

He placed a finger under her chin to lift her face so he could see her eyes. "Ya know ya don't have ta suffer through nothin alone. Ya always got me. No matter what." he said as he gave her a small smile. "Friends or whatever we end up bein, I'll always be here for ya."

Xena: "....You have no idea what it was like...." She murmured as she shakes her head slightly. "...There are times I feel that aside from my parents and my family from Central, I feel as though Kaiya and Ari are the only people I can really trust."

"You can trust me too. Lemme help you. Ya can tell me anythin ya need ta talk bout. I'll listen and I wont even say a word back." he said as he continued to look at her face.

Xena: She would lower her head a bit. "........."

"Xena!" he called again as he reached the lake. He then heaved a sigh before looking down at the lake. "Goddammit." he murmured.

@Serena: Danni: "Then send her to a pleasant distraction. Not one that could end up making her go insane." he said.

"As much as Xena has seen in her life, any of it could have eventually driven her insane. Hell I'm surprised we're not insane ourselves after what we experienced."

Then leave a door open from your kingdom to that one where Michelle can go. Xena needs no more tramatization from anywhere." he said.

She sighed. "I felt the same way about Michael and Rini at one point. It's a natural parental instinct to want to protect our children from everything. But we have to realize they need to experience things. We can't keep them locked up from the world forever. They'll only resent us. She'll always be your little girl and you'll always be her father. But it's time you let her go."

He continued to hug her. It really hurt that there was nothing he could do to make her feel better.

Xena: "....I'm tired of all the lies...I'm tired of all the pain...I'm tired of it all..." As she spoke, she stares at the ground. "A girl waltzing into my second home, expecting to be the center of attention...doesn't make anything better...That did hurt..."
