Amrita had stayed put when Tess flew up once more; her intention was to stay put just in case the other Ghoul got herself stuck again. As it were, that never happened; instead, she was beaming with pride as Red cheered for her. It meant a lot, especially since it had been Red who caught her in the forest! It was almost like a step in the right direction again!
It was enough for Amrita to pick up a piece of the original stick she had so epically thrown at the machines, and to throw it back at them once more; throwing seemed to be working for her! The piece of the broken stick hit the machines with a clang
At Tess's next suggestion, she nodded and stepped back almost instantly, soon to find Christof between herself and the machines; whoa, go Christof! But then, of course, something donned on her; What did Israfel say?
"A...Floating Ghost Blanket...?" Baffled, she looked away from her friends and the machines to try and figure out what her Bandmate was talking about.

It had been awhile and the moving machinery had yet to do anything to harm them... but he felt it would be best to attack them yet again anyway! Couldn't be said that he didn't try his best to hit those damnable things, right? So off he went, but this time, he seemed to have better luck! As several nasty smelling.. somethings... hit the washer with a resounding smack, he felt pretty pleased with himself.

Owww! That hurt! Junko groaned and got back up on her feet, glaring at the washer that she'd tried to kick at and missed and giving it a swift kick from the side. Stupid washing machine!
She was pleased by the clang it made when her sandal hit the side, even if it wasn't a lot of damage. She then fled back to the rest of the group.

There was a buzz of a familiar voice all around Lucien's ears but with a blanket over his head he couldn't see just who it was. The thought of taking the blanket off of his head did not occur to the air spirit and instead he began to slowly float in the distance of the voice. He was slowly getting closer to Israfel but the closer he got the more he worried about not seeing where he was going. He didn't want to take the blanket off of his head though or the gnome might see him. At this point Lucien with the blanket over his head walked right past Israfel, Amrita, Junko and finally Colette until he walked right into the washer and dryer monster machines hitting for 4 damage.
He made a squeal and the air spirit fell back and onto the ground in surprise, the blanket falling off of his head. It hadn't been a floating blanket, it had been Lucien with a blanket over his head! It took a moment for Lucien to snap out of his daze as he stared up at the two machines before he got up off the floor and looked around him carefully. He didn't see a gnome... no... his face brightened up. He seen Israfel and he leaped towards him and away from his opponent.
"Israfel!"

Lilith was not all that pleased that the laundry was in fact trying to become more prominent. There were two washer and dryer monsters causing ruckus in the laundry room. She shouldn't even be in this position and could only bring an unpleasant scowl to darken her face. She would just have to take her frustration on these two machines until she was either happy, or they were gone and she definitely wasn't going to be happy any time soon.
The reaper walked past Colette until she was close enough to attack the machines. Even if this would not be over soon but she would at least get some small pleasure out of kicking in these machines. She didn't do any damage but that didn't stop the reaper from trying to kick again and again. She would not stop until she said it was time to stop. She was not losing control to a couple low-life laundry machines that didn't know their role in society.

Coralie quirked a brow in Morton's direction at his stated dislike for magic. The look she gave him, though, was only one of comprehension and amusement. She certainly remembered how he'd been when they'd met, not that that had lasted very long. He was certainly willing enough to climb into the reaper dorm for head scratches and the like, magic or no.
She moved to perhaps give one of the machines a push again, but decided against it at the last second and side-stepped the bumbling thing. Perhaps...she should stick to the laundry bag after all.
At Morton's comment about the game, she looked at him sideways, mildly surprised. He remembered that, did he? She had been beginning to wonder... But a very typical grin soon rose to her mouth and she nodded very casually. "If you like. Sometime when this is over, though. You need only ask."

LW felt a small bit of gratitude for the gargoyle's attempt to help her with the machines. She gave Morton smile and kept hold of her tail. Though she hadn't made any real noises indicating pain, she was definitely feeling it. Her poor tail! Jackdamned laundry machines!
The she-wolf dodged out of the way again and glared viciously at the things. There was hesitancy in her willingness to attack them again as she did NOT want her tail smashed for a second time. But she didn't want to look like a coward either! Waiting for one to come close she twisted and used her leg muscles to kick at the thing. She actually hit it this time! However her hesitancy to attack caused her blow to be pulled at the last second and not much damage was done.
Jumping back and out of the way, LW backed up slowly until she was closer to Ren and Cora. Her tail was still clutched in her hands.

The anger welled up in Nyyrikki as he glared down at the machines. This.. was jacking stupid.
He hadn't done anything. Why was he sitting in detention, fighting for his young life, when all he'd done was sat around with the rest of the campus's students. Why did he even...
AUUGH. He snapped the wool sweater out angrily and hoped for a hit.

Ren gave a grateful smile to Morton as the gargoyle bent down, helping him to his feet. He slipped a bit, skidding in the slippery water and his fingers dug into Morton's shirt unintentionally, attempting to keep himself from falling flat on his face - again. LW and Coralie had moved back over towards them, and Ren swiped a hand through his hair.
"Yes," he answered the orange haired witch, taking a mock dramatic pose. "We will go down in history as the students of Amityville High who took on a vicious washer and dryer and who lived to tell the tale~!"
Reaching down, Ren slipped off one of his shoes, flinging it across the room at the metal beast. It wasn't really a very serious throw, and his aim was quite off, so the shoe merely bounced off the corner of the machine rather than do any serious damage.
"Well," he said with a shrug. "That was pointless."

The winged vampire kept close to Lizzy as they moved away from the machines. Maritess wasn't a coward... well okay so she was but only because there were so many other viable targets around, why should she put herself and her friends out in the open? She tried to keep up with what the other students were doing and sometimes let out an encouraging cheer for those that managed to land any blows on the machines.
"You can do it!" she called out.

"Good work!" She stared in mild awe, feeling a little bold after watching Christof tackle the machine like a MAN. In fact, she was so inspired by his attack that she decided to try attacking again - this time, not wishing to go too close to the machine again, she removed both her heels and tossed one at the machine, smiling when it hit the machine with a loud 'thang'.
Then, grabbing Tess' hand with her free hand, she made her way to where Amrita was. Safety in numbers, right?

((Andddd over 24 hours again! So Imma go ahead and roll :> ))
When Cora quirked a brow at him, the gargoyle managed to look more like a kicked puppy than growling beast he'd been just three minutes ago, "Well I don't..." he pouted softly, his ears falling a notch before he noticed the fact one of the machines was getting too close again. He tried to use the wool sweater once more, snapping it in the direction of the machine, but his aim was off. It hit thin air and the machine went raging past him unharmed.
A frown crossed his features as he raised the garment up in the air and sniffed at it, "What a useless thing this is. I was doing better when I was using my head..." and his horns, but that was neither here nor there, really. He turned just in time to watch Cora give (or try to give, rather) one of the machines a shove; alas, the reaper failed just as miserably as he did. Her surprised glance made him tilt his head to one side, making him look like a curious puppy, "What, you didn't think I forgot, did you? It worked once," he offered her a grin right back that seemed to voice that yeah, he'd ask. Later. When the machines weren't distracting him, "I will then!"
He watched LW attack one of the machines out of the corner of an eye, and offered her a grin when she jumped back. The way she was clutching his tail caught his attention though and he lowered himself to a crouch on all for, his nose coming to rest just an inch or so from her tail, "I don't think it's broken, don't worry," he remain in that crouched position as he turned to look up at Ren, "Yes well, welcome to the club. We can all feel mostly useless together."

The longer that they didn't attack made him a bit edgy. He was worried about Carry but, after a quick glance backwards showed she was still doing all right, he felt a bit more relaxed about the whole thing. Well, then. Best to keep going right. The sounds of several filthy things hitting the appliances with resounding cracks was vastly pleasing to the demon.
Maybe he was getting used to this whole battle nonsense.
