Kasumi trotted daintily back into class, homework in hand. She was disappointed that she didn't have much at all to write about, considering she died and appeared in Halloween with no memory of past events whatsoever. Still, she did her best, and turned in the parchment to the teacher. Giving Ms. Winters a bow, Kasumi waved to Miss Junko with a very happy smile. It was so wonderful to see her! Taking up her seat at the dining table, the ghost inspected the rest of the seats and the seating arrangement, figuring this had something to do with eating properly. While that was all find and dandy to most, ghosts didn't have to eat and simply performed the action out of nostalgia. Still, Kasumi had an eagerness to learn all about etiquette and culture, and smoothed out her dress in anticipation.

Alessa came into class with her homework, only to note that, well, the seating arrangement had changed. She had to admit, she was a little disappointed...she was farther away from everyone she knew. Well, she supposed there was nothing she could do and that just meant...she'd have to talk to some of the other students. That wasn't a bad thing, right? Right. She settled in her seat, and took a moment to look over her homework. It was a little uncomfortable to look at, really. She had tried to distance herself from her mixed feelings about it all, but she still felt awkward sharing it. She hoped they wouldn't have to share, anyway. She had been honest, but she didn't know if her peers would share her...family's disapproval of her animal species. Oh well. There was nothing she could do. She sighed.

"Blech," said Ren, tossing his homework haphazardly into the already growing pile of papers atop the teacher's desk. He had no interest in the assignment, of course, and had spent little to no time actually working on it, and more time scribbling doodles onto LW's. Slouching across the room, he slipped into the seat between Riley and Obsidean, nodding in casual greeting to the both of them. Across from him, and a few seats down was Alessa, and Ren lifted a hand in greeting, smiling at the nagual. LW was almost directly across from him, and he stuck out his tongue playfully at her, grinning.
He wished, however, that he was at least a little closer to the people he knew. Not that he minded meeting new people, but it would have been nice. Leaning back in his chair, Ren linked his fingers behind his head and waited for class to start.

As more people came to sit, Christof was amazed to see Malodore take a seat right across from him! It hadn't been at the first class! ALL of his Masters were here now! If only Mistress Riley was sitting a bit closer... His mouth twitched up over his still blood stained cravat in a shy smile as he waved back to it. He crumpled the assessment form away into his bag under his seat, wincing a bit as he bent, but at least was able to sit up again without issue just as Jericho had turned to him.
His eyes darted to the side at the question, before he raised a hand in a so-so motion. Then the little paper note came, falling to the table- it had come from his Mistress! It must have been for him, and she had come up short- instinctively, he reached for it across Alessa's place.

Huh? Who was speaking to her now? Junko blinked and turned to Barth, smiling and nodding to him. "Hello! Ah...do...do I know you?" She had seen him at detention which meant he had to have been at truth or dare, right? But she..couldn't remember truth or dare. She didn't mean to sound rude! Honest! But Junko hated feeling like she had met someone and then not remembering it. That was just annoying. When asked if her paper had been alright to do she made an uncertain face.
"Ehhhh..." She bit her lip a little and glanced down at her homework. The assignment itself wasn't a bad one, in fact she liked it, just doing it had been...so...impossible. "Sort of...eventually. I wish my first attempt hadn't been ruined. That was my best one by far. And yes, I just barely missed the last class's signups but I'm very glad I made it for this one!" Balance? Junko blinked, confused as to whether this was supposed to be something she should worry about. Junko liked to think she was a very physically balanced person! She walked just fine, right? "Was it bad?"

This was one of those classes that Gabrian actually rather enjoyed. Then again, it might have had a lot to do with the fact he'd been brought up to appreciate such things; they usually came naturally to him. Or at least, he liked to think they did. Not only that, but the dance floor, which had remain untouched in their first lesson, rather appealed to him. Shrugging slightly to himself, as if to rid himself of the cobwebs, the nix walked over to leave his homework on the rapidly growing pile. The first thing he noticed when he walked back was that the seating arrangements seemed to have changed somewhat; there were more, for one, and there were also names he didn't quite recognise. As such, he was forced to walk down the table, reading the nameplates till he came upon his. He noticed LW was, in fact, seated just a few seats over to his left - he hadn't noticed that the first time around, but then again, he hadn't known her then. It was like ages had passed since the previous class when in reality... only a few days had passed. As he walked , he reached out with one hand and placed it on top of the she-wolf's head, giving her a couple of pats, "I hadn't noticed you were seating so close to me in this class," he told her before taking his seat, a couple of spaces over. He also noticed Livi, though... something told him the other demon didn't look all that er... happy? The nix idly wondered what was wrong, and leaned back so he could see the other boil better, "Livi, is something the matter?" The fact he'd leand back so much allowed him to note that Alessa was now seated in his same row, much further down the lane and when he took a moment to look around, he noticed both Holly and Amrita were still his neighbours. Everything seemed fine and dandy until he took a moment to look in front of him and saw... Ren, seated almost directly in front of him. Well, wouldn't this be an interesting class indeed! He idly wondered if the gryphon planned on napping through the class. Shaking his head at the notion, he decided to focuss on other things instead.

Colette nodded and spoke to the sloth demon, "Yeah. I came in the last class to work on my Career Counseling form and it looked interesting. So, when there were openings, I signed up." She smiled to herself, realizing that maybe she actually had been discreet when intruding the classroom.
And then she remembered what she had done for the boil. Colette leaned closer to Barth, the Chanel No. 666 that she was wearing for the class becoming more noticeable, and whispered, "And I finished your form." The whispering was probably completely unnecessary, but Colette figured she couldn't be too careful. After all, she wasn't really sure if it was or wasn't allowed. "I already turned it in too."
She leaned back, uncontrollably smiling at the full nights of sleep that would come soon enough. She was excited, and it usually took something fantastic to excite Colette.
The only bad part was that she probably looked like a complete creep.

He didn't want to go to class anymore, but he didn't want to think of the consequences of not attending his lessons. Slowly moving in, Calder kept his ears back and head low as he sneaked over to the teacher's desk. No doubt a few people would notice him from detention, and he was sure they would wonder why he was still in school. As of yet, no one knew of his "condition", and he was glad for it.
It had been hard enough to write this assignment with any semblance of pride when he had gotten a beat down from his parents about their culture, beliefs, and values before he got ready to write down anything. Still, looking at it, he had some rather mixed feelings. He liked talking about his kind, but he felt he had let them down.
Sighing, he set the page down on the pile of papers and then slowly crept over to his seat, setting a small misting bottle of water beside him – water from the tap. ( :c ) Sighing, he set his head down and let his hair spill on the table. One class down. One very dry school year to go.
It seemed that not only was Calder a little bit of a ranter, but he wasn't much of an artist either.

Frowning, Jericho nodded to Christof. The guy must have really thrown out his back in the last class if it was still bothering him. Jumping as the igor suddenly lunged out to try and catch something, he felt something light hit him on the side of the head.
Staring at the guy with a hint of confusion, he turned to see the folded note and went to read it.
The dragon raised a brow and glanced up at Riley, <<Coming from you, yes it is. Are you bored?>>

He had settled into his seat after he had turned in his homework and waiting for LW to get comfortable first, as he was used to that. Straightening the cuffs of his jacket a bit, he was been a bit too focused on the task so Gabe's concerned question startled him a bit. His eyes were wide for a moment or two before he made himself smile. Suck it in, stupid, you're being obvious. "I've never been quite fond of my race, so writing about them leaves a bit of a foul taste in my mouth. But hopefully I've written a decent enough report on them. How did yours come out?"
He was still a bit meh after being trapped in that disgusting laundry room for detention. No amount of scrubbing had gotten whatever horrors that had been lurking in those blankets off his clothing and had to be sent to his favorite cleaners to hopefully fix that. Even his minions had avoided him when he came home, regardless that he had bathed quite a bit to get the stench out. It had been a rather saddening thing when even his doll said he still reeked of unmentionable things. One thing was very clear though. He did not wish to gain another detention if he could help it.

Riley only noticed Christof's odd behavior in passing, and a single brow raised as she watched the patchwork minion. Was he trying to steal the note? Perhaps he was looking to play a game - she would ask him later. For now, her eyes flickered to Jericho, and instantly brightened cheerfully.
Terribly. This was the class where we did nothing but walk, last time, was it not? I expect nothing fruitful will occur this time around, either. So perhaps I will just throw paper at you all day to keep me interested.
She balled up another scrap as she spoke, and flicked the tiny ball at him. Then her eyes turned to Calder, and slit. She remembered him..
Hello again, Calder. She murmured, her 'voice' feeling as as smooth as velvet.

Despite his reservations towards the class, Myr had been slightly looking forward to it, and had even done his homework rather eagerly. It was an interesting topic, even if he wasn't sure that what he wrote was exactly what the professor wanted. He sat the paper down with the rest of the rest of the classes, and then found his seat. He was at the end of the table, surrounded by ghouls that he didn't really know. He thought he recognized Sarias from the Spin the Bottle game, but that night was a little fuzzy. In any case, he grinned at the three of them, Sarias, Junko, and Shekh, and waited for class to start.

Amrita was back in class. Back in that dress and the pulled up hair style that, in her opinion, took way long to do. When she first walked in she had a paper in her hands, the important one as to make sure she wouldn't forget it in her dorm or even forget to hand it in. In her eagerness to hand it in, an older second version made it into the pile as well, apparently tucked behind the first.Next came the glance at the new seating arrangement...Oh, she was beside Charlie now? Huh. The yelling the Demon had done to get her attention slipped her mind, and she just took her seat, wondering why the arrangement would have changed like this.

It was a good thing that Calder has a lot of hair since he was now using it to hide his face, which he was keeping down on the table as he slowly brought his hands up and set them around his head as if he was in time out in kindergarten. As Riley's smooth voice entered his mind, his shoulders hitched up and he curled more into himself. Oh, he knew she was there during detention. He remembered for from Truth or Dare, and he wondered if he could just keep quiet and pretend he didn't hear her. Then again, how could you not hear what was in your head? Dang.
He tried what he had experimented with Riley in their first class and, not speaking, thought back to her. ...........hello. .....Riley. He wasn't about to ask her how was her evening or if he enjoyed her weekend. He knew she had seen him. He knew she had seen him. He wasn't about to kid himself. Not now.

She chuckled softly, obtaining an impressive amount of enjoyment as she noticed the difference in his overall attitude today. Her eyes turned upwards into crescents, and she reached out to gently brush the curtain of hair that he was using to hide from her.
Awww, Calder. Why so quiet today? Where did that lively boy from the last class go? Her voice had an edge to it, teasing, perhaps even coaxing. You won't even look at me.. have I done something to offend you, perhaps?
Oh, she knew why he acted the way he did. She also knew the best way to make him feel more comfortable around her was to act like she didn't. In fact, she was acting like she genuinely wanted him to look at her, and talk to her. She leaned in slightly, to peek under the curtain of hair.
