"Gee, I wonder where the patron is at... he's nowhere in sight!", Amaya thought as she steered Gigi into a piaffe followed by a traversale. She tried some more exercises from the spanish drill and hummed contently as Gigi did a perfect pirouette around the hindlegs. She patted the horses neck affectionately and leaned foreward to slip her a piece of rusk. "You might be an evil beast, but you sure can dance like a primaballerina.", she complimented as the ill-tempered mare snatched the treat from her hand.

Hyyah! I yell as I spring into the air and do a spinning back heel kick. Hyah! Hyah, Hyah hyah! When I land I charge forward and do a blade kick, with my right leg, pull it back, then right punch, left punch, and I spin on my right leg and do back heel kick with my left and return to my original stance.

Amaya looked over to Yuriko. "Strange... I thought he had said he would come over this morning... oh well, if he does not show up till noon, we'll go on the trail together, what do you say?"

With her eyes lighting up Yuriko nodded her head several times in joy. "I'd love to!" she said overily excited.

(Okay sorry.) As I finish up my morning ritual I relize. Oh shimatta I'm late! I bolt towards the fence, jump, placing my hands on the top rail, grabbing my gi top and belt at the same moment, I spring off and land on the other side, and continue running towards the corral.

Amaya turned her steed around at the sound of running feet nearing the stables, and smiled as she saw that it was Kibakichi-san. Finally, there he is! Aloud she said: "Oi! Yuriko, it seems like we have to save up that ride for later. Someone must stay behind in case another customer will show up, sorry!"

Amaya dismounted and tied Gigi to the fence, then headed for the weaponchamber to fetch two shortbows and quivers as well as two light, round-tipped Yari for spear-practice.

Yuriko walked to the entrance and bowwed her head to the guest. "Welcome Kibakichi-san. Amaya-sama will be with you very shortly, she just needed to collect some weapons."

"Greetings, Kibakichi-san! The horses have already been warmed up, so we can go on the trail immediately." She showed him the bows and Yaris she was carrying. "Would you like to have some weapon practice right away, and if yes, would you like to try the spear or the bow or maybe even both?"

While Kibakichi dressed, the stable master went to the horses and fastened the quivers to each of the pommels after lining up the spears on the fence. She strung the bows, then slung one of them over her shoulder before she handed the patron the other one.
She mounted Gigi, adjusting the quiver so it lay close to her thigh without chafing, then steered the mare to the fence and picked up the Yari. She turned around so that Kibakichi could see how she braced the blunt end of the weapon on the stirrup, holding the reins in a one-handed grip.
