Jak smirked and started loading up his magnums, DMR, and combat shotgun. "I wouldn't say 'wrong'," he said, "It's more along the lines of 'interesting'." Jak tossed a cylindrical device to Jackie. "That's called the chameleon. It's a variation of the drop shield that makes anything within a 1.5 meter radius to disappear from sight. But you still need to be careful, because it can't even protect you from a bee, let alone a bullet. You'll be our eye in the sky, so get to a high spot, take care of any enemy snipers, and warn us if more enemies come." Jak ordered. "Holly and Drake will go secure us a vehicle while Stephanie and I give them covering fire. As soon as they get the vehicle, Jackie, you need to get over to their position ASAP, Stephanie and I will get on board and then we head south towards the BFR. Understand?"

Jackie caught the chameleon, looking it up and down. "Interesting. Does it have a time limit? Or can I just hide with it for as long as I want?" she asked.

"Yeah, it has a small power cell that lasts about 20 minutes. That should give Holly and Drake enough time to get the transport." Jak replied.

stephanie groaned silently to herself wen jak had paired them up together. 'why me?' she thought. "wats going on? did something happen with everybody down at the square??" she asked.
"jak u want us to stay here or meet u in the woods?" blake asked as he helped his brother get over to him.

Jak glared at Stephanie. "Yes, something happened at the square. The queen declared war against men, we're stuck in the crosshairs, and this entire solar system just became a massive free-fire zone. Hundreds, maybe thousands, of women are heading towards these air hangers and we have no more than twenty minutes to get a vehicle and get the ******** outta here. Now my question is," Jak cocked his shotgun, "Why aren't you armed yet?"

blake waited another 2 seconds before contacting jak again. "jak! do u copy?" he said aggitatedly into the headset.
stephanie raised her eyebrow at him. "i dont need to b armed. im a female remember? they rnt gonna expect anything from me. they probably think im still the elite or they kno im not and r just another soldier ready for war. so dont shoot me out of stupidity. me holly j and jackie..well..idk about jackie due to her escaping prison, but me and holly here r ur only way in to anywher without being caught majorly." she said, with attitude, as she crossed her arms and looked at him with the look that said 'dont test me.'

Jak snarled, "Fine." he said. Jak grabbed Stephanie by the collar of her outfit got got very close, "Just know this, when you get shot by your so-called comrades because you were dumb enough to think they wouldn't, it's your problem, not mine. And don't think I'll come back to save you. By the time you realize that I was right, I'll be long gone." Jak got a hold of his headset again. "Copy, Blake. I need you and Luke on ground support. Grab the nearest armored vehicle and mow down any hostiles that get in your way. We can rendezvous at the BFR south of our position in no less then ten hours."

Jackie frowned at Stephanie's refusal to take a weapon, but shrugged. Why should she care? She pulled the hood of her cloak over her head and hid her rifle behind her, tossing the chameleon up and down. "I'm heading out. Is there some sort of signal you can give me when you all have the transport?" she asked Jak.
Drake turned to Stephanie. "You sure you don't want anything? I have a couple of heavy duty cherry bombs and a lighter, just in case." he proposed with a grin.

"Don't give her anything." Jak ordered with a grimace. "Now Drake, when you secure the transport, I want you to launch two red flares in the air to signal our new sniper friend." Jak ran down to the hanger entrance and waited for the first wave.

stephanie glared at jak in the eyes wanting for him to let go of her. she started having flashback of wen she was a littl girl and one of the soldiers had picked her 8yrs old self off the ground and yelled in her face for accidently tripping and stepping out of the marching line. "dumbass...im already armed." she mutterd as jak ran off. "i hav my gun and i hav a hand gun. i also hav a tazer and a lighter. its all hidden in my armor, thats part of the upgrade in my new armor." she paused and turned to drake, "thank you drake for the offer." stephanie said with grattitude towards him. "if u rnt afraid of jak u can giv me the cherry bombs. if u r then thats fine, i dont mind." 'i swear wen this is all over if me and jak r still alive..oh! ima kill him!' she thought ot herelf. she hated herself for exploring that stupid ship he came off of and ever letting him into her house. she regretted ever living ther in the first place.
"wats your position, jak?" blake said, "lets move out. quickly." blake said to luke and motioned for him to follow. "wat do we do from here?" luke asked. "he needs us on ground support. get the nearest armored vehicle, take out anybody that gets in our way. in no less than 10 hours."

Jackie nodded, sprinting off down the streets. A million sniping points ran through her mind, but one caught on. She smirked, trying to find the abandoned hotel she had gone to as a kid. When she noticed it, she ran faster, reaching the entrance and glancing up. She kicked the old, rusty door down and went in, climbing the stairs quickly.
When Jackie reached the roof, she literally had to hold on to the doorframe as the wind whipped overhead from copters going to land. When they left, she walked carefully to the very corner, crouching down and activating the chameleon. She flipped down her hood and adjusted her hat, taking her gun out and searching for targets through the long-distance scope.
Drake grinned. "I ain't afraid of him. Wouldn't hurt to give you a few." he said, placing three of the circular bombs in her hand along with a lighter. He gave her a little two-fingered salute, along with a wink, then grabbed Holly J's arm. "Come on, we've got a transport to jack." He giggled like a little kid doing something naughty, then dragged her off.

"good luck J.."stephanie said as she put the lighter and cherry bombs away hidden in her suit. she then ran over to the hanger entrance where jak was.
blake and luke looked around for an armored vehicle as they exited the town square and ran thro the streets. they found one across the street from an abandoned hotel.
