Yea, I could make your life better...

Jack Kimmens

Jack kept his smirk in place as he gave a short nod in acceptance and went into his pocket for the money to pay for his rare find. Many would be shocked and slightly frightened for the stuff falling out of his pocket. A shriveled nose here, a newt, a bottle of pills that glowed, his thermos (which he kept out; can't keep a Brit away from tea) until he finally located his coin purse and counted out the necessary coins to equal five hundred thousand plus the extra two hundred. He narrowed his eyes at the tug the trader gave to the chimera but decided to keep his mouth shut for once. Jack handed over the gold and silver coins to the greedy trader and then snatched the leash out of the others hands(rough towards the trader, but not enough to actually cause harm to Tikabo).
"There. Ya got your money, an' I'll be takin' me an' my new..." he didn't really know how to finish that statement. Slave? Too harsh. Employee? Eh, he'll find that out later on. Sexy partner? Gah! Merlin no.
"Er...my new acquaintance here an goin'. Ta!" And with that said, he placed his hand on the small of the chimera's back to make him start walking without the tug of the leash. Once they were out of eyesight of the trader and almost out of the marketplace, Jack leaned over to the other man (finally realizing the full height of the chimera) and whispered in his ear "Don't worry, mate, as soon as we're outta this god-forsaken place I'll take off that leash there and taken you to get some new threads." Not like the alchemist didn't completely appreciate how the burgundy sweater hung off his thin frame. AND, not like he'd ever admit to thinking it.

...but why would I want to?

TomasWolf

Tomas circled around and around his cage in his wolf phase. The light brown wolf was growing and more and more agitated by the day, he had been banned from leaving his cage which meant he was unable to exercise and being a Skinwalker it was very dangerous if he received no exercise. No one had gone near him because of it. He would lash out at them and bare his teeth, his ears pressed back against his skull in disturbance and his tail tucked in between his legs.

This was not normal behavior for Tomas Wolf, who was usually a calm and docile creature. But you see, wild animals are not meant to be in small cages. Wild animals are meant to roam freely or at least have a larger cage. In his cage Tomas could not run, he desperately desired to at least be let out on a leash so he could stretch his legs. Whenever a potential customer would approach his cage, he would snarl softly in warning. He was warning them that he was not to be approached now, not until he was let out to exercise. But of course, the customers always took it the wrong way and reported him as being an aggressive beast. He was really just trying to protect them. He didn’t want to hurt anyone without a viable reason to.

Senritsu Valkyrie

Sen blinked when he seemed to have caught the others attention, he turned his head glancing at what had caught the males attention and raised an eyebrow, familiar clothing, he stared at it a moment longer before turning his attention back to the small cat like boy before him. He could tell the boy was observing him from the searching look in the male's eyes, he was elaborating and observing him, apparently from the bewildered look in the male's eyes he couldn't tell what he was. He would have smirked but he wasn't very amused, most would just write him off as another human that had some deficiency, not that it mattered to him considering he didn't care for what others thought. Senritsu stared at the Neko boy, strange considering he didn't know humans could chemically engineer a half human half animal species. Maybe he was an accident? Didn't matter now considering the cat was chained and bound to this place until he was bought. He obsereved the cat with a look of slight curiosity ladden beneath the exhaustion, brown cat ears and tail, both opeartional, bright blue eyes and a small form, just like a cat. He wondered how old this kid was now.

He looked around momentarily making sure that annoying vendor wasn't anywhere close by, he didn't need some mortal chattering off in his ear like some bird. He observed the boy a moment longer, he leaned down checking what the collar had, nothing that seemed to dangerous from the looks of it, hopefully the kid knew how to clean if he did take him. He stood back up straight, "What is your name?" he asked somewhat sternly, he didn't care for much else, he would have called the kid cat boy or something of that caliber if he didn't get a name. He glanced the blond male once again, reminded him of something from when he was a viking, a norse myth. The word couldn't come to his mind at the moment but later on it would hit him when it didn't matter. He looked up when the vendor came over staring at him with one of those looks that meant he was gold digging, goodthing Sen had a large wallet, So sir, can I help you with choosing a slave for today?" the man asked. Sen blinked and stared at the man, "Not really." he said basically cutting off any conversation.

The man blinked and glanced to the side staring at the neko boy, "I see you have an interest in rather out of the ordinary." the man said rather slyly. Sen fixed the male with an annoyed glare, 'It isn't really any of your business." Sen making it obvious he wasn't up for negotiations or anything of the like. The man nodded, "That is true, but I would still like to help you. This here is a rare Neko, we only have a few around the shop considering they are anomalies. I will be willing to part with this fine kid for about lets say fifty thousand?" the man said. The dragon looked purely annoyed now, he turned and stared at the boy for the longest moment wondering if Ex-cel would attack the kid or cuddle with him regardless if he did take the kid he would have to get used to the cat. He sighed deciding that giving the kid a choice would be best, "I'm not sure he would be worth it, he doesn't even speak for himself much." he muttered, "Well, do you want to get out of this cage boy?" he asked rather sternly no real care in his voice.

Tikabo looked at the odd items that came out of Jack's pockets out of curiosity before shifting his eyes to the money. The chimera was happy to see that he had more then enough to pay for him. As soon as the money traded hands, a smile reappeared on the chimera's face. He was finally getting out of this place. His ears perked and twitched when he felt his new Master's hand on his back, but said nothing and walked with him. "Okay~." Tikabo replied, nodding his head. He was rather excited, seeing how it has been a long time since he had gotten any new clothes. Not that the burgndy sweater bothered him. He quite liked it. It was warm, big and comfy. And even better, it didn't tug on or get caught on his scales.

Location ;; Slave Market
Thoughts ;; Who is that man? Sure is persistent.

Miki watched as the male in front of him looked at his previous object of interest, the blond in the cage beside him. The neko's eyes followed the man as he leaned down, probably to look at his collar. All the while the man stood straight, his eyes never left his face. Miki blinked a number of times, tempted to frown at the tone he was given. "Miki." The neko wasn't sure if he wanted to be bought buy this man or not. He watched as the man glanced at the slave next to him again. Was he thinking? Surely not. He didn't seem like someone who'd be picky, just someone that wasn't always in a good mood. Miki watched as the man turned around, another man coming over. He stared at the vendor just as the other man did, wondering who it was.

Miki turned his head away when the vendor looked at him. Might as well try and figure out what the blond was again. The neko looked at the male he knew wasn't human, noticing that he was wide awake. He had changed positions inside his cage. Miki's ears flicked when he heard the phrase 'out of the ordinary.' When he looked back, he saw the glare that was being fixated upon the vendor. As he listened, he could tell that this man with white hair was not much of a people-person. The neko watched as the vendor seemed to pester the man about himself.

Despite all of this, Miki looked alarmed at the sound of the price. Was that why he had never heard of slave markets? It was only for those with a lot of money? That and Miki had only been human for about five years. Clearly the neko could tell the man was getting annoyed by this vendor. Though his expression straightened out to that plain, uninterested look again when the man said he probably wouldn't even be worth it. Heck, Miki didn't even think he'd be worth it. The neko's ears flicked again when he was asked if he wanted out of the cage. "Yes." Miki couldn't imagine who wouldn't want out of their cage. Maybe those who had great pride and arrogance; too much to let themselves be purchased like an actual slave. But he doesn't seem too bad... just try not to piss him off and I'll be fine.. I think.. Miki considered the idea that this man might eat him. Clearly he wasn't human; maybe he ate people? It took a lot of effort not to show how alarming that thought was to Miki.

Senritsu Valkyrie

Senritsu didn't say anything to the name, 'Miki? Strange name.' he thought to himself lightly. He found himself wondering how such a kid ended up in a place like this, he could hear a small child like voice farther, it was kind of irritating and grated on his ears, but from what he could tell the child was not even legally able to tell the difference between right and wrong. The vendor here must be some messed up man to steal children off the streets, it wasn't his business but regardless he did feel a slight pang of sympathy for the male considering if the kid ended up with one of those sickos. He closed his eye a sigh escaping his lips, darkness was obvious in his eyes and he couldn't see, his hearing however enhanced expenentioally as he thought, he heard slaves shifting and the vendors chatter talking about other slaves that were cheaper and that Sen might be interested in, good thing they were in a public place otherwise the vendor would in a death grip, pretty much turning blue if you catch the meaning. Sen really hated crowds, he hated them a lot.

Sen crossed his arms waiting patiently for the man to shut up, he turned to stare at Miki while the vendor continued to talk, his single eye was trained on nothing in particular. When he heard the answer to his earlier question he looked down at Miki and gave a short curt nod, he turned to the Vendor who was still talking, pretty much to himself by this time. He pulled out his wallet, "Shut. Up." he growled menacingly. The vendor caught the dragon's gaze and immediately his chatter ceased, the man's mouth closed slowly looking frightened, "50,000 right?" he muttered pulling out a checkbook from the confines of the dark leather wallet. He slipped a tiny pen from the check book and wrote it out quickly, 'Humans get on my nerves to much. At least the cat kid seems to be pretty quiet.' he thought handing the check to the male as the guy seemed to still be trapped in fear. He sighed and turned back to where Miki was, "As it seems, you belong to me now." he stated simply.

The dragon was stopped by the vendor, "Would you like a leash?" the vendor mumbled, "Its fine, if he doesn't want to follow I can just toss him in the trunk and feed him to Ex-cel when I get home." he muttered in a non chalant tone as if he was being entirely serious. Side ways threats seemed to work with most people considering he got his way a lot of the time, he waited for the cat to be let out of the cage and well gave him a stern look, "Lets go." he stated simply turning and not bothering to look back, if the kid knew what was good for him he wouldn't tempt the dragon's anger.

Yea, I could make your life better...

Jack Kimmens

Jack took them both to the outskirts of the marketplace where most buyers parked their expensive cars. This was where Jack had parked his rather beat up but updated motor bike. There were scratches here and there with some burn marks, funny looking engraved markings and even some random spots that looked like dried blood (not his own). Near the gas tank was the name Bella Luna engraved and then painted in blue paint; the only other color on the all black bike.
"Alritey then. This here is Bella and she'll be our transportation for the day. She might not look like much, but she runs like a cheetah." He threw one leg over the side and sat on the back and then patted the back of the seat.
"Well, get on then! Sooner we get to and from the shopping center sooner I can take you to your new home! Oh! Added memo, be sure to tuck in your tail. Don't want that gettin' caught."

...but why would I want to?

"I am warm in your summer,me upon
And cool in my winter,
But, you've trapped me upon the land,
So that I've lost control..."

It was disgraceful to be brought in, and set into a cage by men. It was more disgraceful, that she had pleaded to leave their care. No. She had not been allowed to leave. She had been forced to remain in one form, while the earth men, of her sister's creation, were pushing her around. this was not something she wanted. No. Saiyuri was far more proud then that. She was the very embodiment of water and storms. And yet, for the moment, she was trapped in a human guise, with some stupid chain block around her neck, that would prohibit her changes.

Stalled in change, her hair was a sea foam green at it's tips, and ran in a colored pattern, until it's tips were bluer then the deepest of her seas. she was dressed in some purple livery that she'd been given from her sister's human children. the fabric was flowing enough to remind her of her waters, which is why she had grudgingly chosen to wear it. she would not have men looking at her all day, as if she were a piece of meat because she had her human gender parts exposed for the world to see. She had to find her sister. To defeat her sister, and take her winings. she would not let her sister beat her. No. It was an impossibility.

Thus, she looked about of the cage she was set it, wishing that she could once more be in her ocean. FTo feel the lovely blue waters caress her in embrace. To see the children that lived in the water. her children. But no, she was stuck, until she could escape, and through the people that walked on, she stared, searching their faces, in hopes that one would be hers sister, and free her.

He looked around at all the different vehicles, him not really having much experience with the large machines. He has seen them, but he has rarely ever ridden in or on one. When the other male introduced him to his vehicle. the light blue haired boy looked at the machine curiously, before looking back at Jack, who had just gotten on it. He got on behind him, then looked suprised at the comment about his tail getting caught. He grabbed on to his Master's sides and wrapped his tail around the others waist, looking behind him at the machine worriedly. He certaintly didn't want his tail to get caught in anything.

- Is there anyone out there who is listening to anything? -
- Is there anyone out there who can take my hand? -

Oliver felt a pair of eyes on him and glanced to the side to note a young boy with cat ears and a tail staring at him curiously. Green eyes met deep blue eyes and the blonde couldn't help but smile at the adorable creature. Since when did humans and cats mix? This was new...perhaps some sort of science accident or advanced illegal research project. He was about to open his mouth to say hello when he felt the presence of another and his eyes drifted towards the man who seemed interested in purchasing the cat boy.

The ghost sighed and leaned against the back of his cage, folding his arms carefully over his chest as he observed the sale between the eyepatch-wearing male and the trader. Fifty thousand...dollars, was it? So that's the currency they went by here. Oliver was used to pounds, but the conversion wasn't hard to do in his head. It wasn't a very high price considering the man was buying a living being...

I was never one to appreciate the slave-trade business. It's unethical.

Oliver was deep within the heart of that business now, though. He had no choice in the matter. After the cat boy left, his eyes continued flitting around the shop until they came to rest on a dainty-looking female with hair that was a unique green-to-blue fade. She seemed most unhappy with being placed in a cage, though for that he couldn't blame her. Seeing as there was no present interested in himself, Oliver shifted to one side of the cage closest to the female and his form shimmered with a translucent appearance before settling back into a solid. He spoke in a smooth, light voice.

"Pardon me, miss. Seeing how we may be here a while, I thought I'd inquire your name?"

Location ;; Heading out of the Slave Market
Thoughts ;; What on earth?

While the man had stood there and thought, Miki had distracted himself with the blond once more. The neko crouched and neared the side of the cage, ears flicking as he sniffed. Miki's bottom was partially up, tail swaying around in the air. What he smelled was mist, not so much flesh as he should have. His eyebrows knitted together in utter confusion as he tried to piece things together. Human-looking, old clothes, mist.. A ghost? Was he a ghost? Was he tangible? Miki's eyes widened at this male might being a ghost, scooting back away from it. Weren't ghosts, like, bad? Like how ghost stories were scary stories? They were bad, weren't they? This one didn't look mean or scary or bad. Miki blinked and his ears perked up when the golden-haired male smiled at him.

Miki's tail swished in the air as he heard the man tell the vendor to shut up. Shut up? What on earth? When you shut something you normally shut it down, don't you? Confused by this order, the neko sat up to look at the vendor. His mouth was closed and he looked utterly fearful of the white-haired male. Maybe it was something people said when they were aggravated? Miki watched as the man pulled out a small booklet and a pen. What was that? Something that had to do with money, apparently. The neko's eyes flickered up to the man's face when he said he belonged to him.

Miki's bottom and tail were still in the air, chin touching the floor as he looked back at the vendor. A leash? Cat's didn't wear leashes! How redundant to think so. Only dogs and creatures of the like did. You don't put leashes on snakes, do you? It was the same. Miki's ears stood straight when the man said he'd toss him in his truck and feed him to Ex-cel if he didn't follow. Who? Who was Ex-cel?

Miki's ears flattened against his head when the cage was opened and a man came inside to get the chain connected to his collar. As soon as it fell, the neko darted past the man and out of the cage, chasing after the white-haired male and abruptly shifting to a walking pace directly behind him. The man that Miki had darted past had fallen backwards, grumbling as he got back up. "Who's... Who's Ex-cel?" he asked, looking up at the man as he walked, now almost beside him. "And.. and what am I suppose to call you?" he asked. Miki didn't want to flood out questions that seemed idiotic, so he picked the two he felt most important and left it at that.

Westley was feeling jumpy and out of place in this type of establishment. He had spent so many years surrounded by other men, fighting with them, fighting against them that he developed a small sense of claustrophobia. It also didn't help that with every push and shove from the hustle and bustle of the marketplace made him feel life he was back on the war field. He immediately went for the necklace around his neck, a piece of string with two similar rings swaying side-by-side hung there landing just above his heart. Just the feel of the smooth rings brought him back to reality and made him remember what exactly he was doing here: he was about to purchase person. To be perfectly honest he would rather hire a nanny but they were so damned expensive for just month to month pay and in the end they usual never worked out. Only wanting to be hired to be the next Mrs. Anderson and inherit his lifestyle. Westley snorted at that thought. What they never understood was that he wasn't looking for another wife, and if the fates be willing he wouldn't need one. And so, he was here. Going from slave trader to trader looking for the right charms and collars that he required and for the right slave for his home. So far he's seen many distinct type of slaves and slave buyers. He felt even more out of place with the way he was dressed: others were dressed regally in expensive outfits and hats and cars. All he was dressed in was the suit he had entered the army in (that remarkably still fit!). Black slacks, an olive green shirt and a black suit jacket. The jacket was off and hanging in his hands and the top two buttons on his shirt was left undone. He had been walking around for hours and had gotten slightly warm under the collar, and still hasn't found the right slave! He was about to give up for the day when his eyes landed on young woman watching (or glaring) at the crowd almost like she was looking for someone. Her hair reminded him of the sea the waves that crashed against the rocks of his home. Instinctively, he felt himself going toward her.
Hello, ma'am. If you wouldn't mind, could I please be as bold as to ask your name?

I will tell you about love

I will ask you why stay.

Charms: Fang- rare blood type, Star- Innocent, Moon- Creature of the night, Bell- A pet.

It was interesting to Lillium, watching this man try and process what she was saying. It was even the simplest explanation she had given, but as a sad grin passed her face, she could smell the unsure feeling he had circling his blood. And his short comment showed that their conversation was over. In reality, Lily wasn't sad, she'd taken a chance and it had paid off, and possibly shown the man that it was quite easy to talk to a slave. "It's ok. But i think it's time you found the right slave for you. I had a nice talk though." Grinning nicely for the first time, her hands curled around the bars again. She wasn't dismissing this man she didn't even know the name of, but she could tell he wasn't interested, and it was because of that one collar she had. "Good luck." She said quietly, moving away from where the man was to go sit on her cushions, resuming her idle watching of the people that walked past. Her seller even looked over his newspaper for a moment; he knew there was no sale involved, but it gave him hope that someone might actually be interested in her. Continuing his reading, Lillium curled her knees up to her chest, her solitary rosepetal pink eye scanning each person again, categorising them all, once again.

She didn't even know if the man had left yet, but she did wish him well. He seemed nice, and any slave that was to be purchased by him would be very lucky. He had potential. Sighing softly, she placed her chin on her knees and stared. No-one wanted a shy slave like herself. But her sellers movement caught her eye as he stood up to write more on her board. The brightly garish letters almost annoyingly bright spelled out that she was a Bio-Engineered Vampire, how old she was, her collars and charms and the extra added information about how she can learn new things thanks to the electrical components that made up the majority of her brain. Watching the seller sit back down, a man appeared from around a corner. Staring, Lillium noticed he too... Had an eye patch. Without thinking, she leapt up from her spot on the floor and stretched an arm out her cage, pointing at the very pretty man with the eye patch. "You have an eye patch too!" Came her innocently sweet voice. Realising what she had just done, her eye widened and the outstretched arm retreated into the cage and covered her mouth. She may have been a vampire, but she was almost sure she was blushing. Oh dear, not again. She'd called out to a stranger...

{{ooc; thanks for all the fun ninja! n___n thanks for helping me get Lily out there, you're the best. FYI masters, she's still up for sale... ;D }}
|| edit: i should make a note that the eye patch person she pointed at isn't Icey's Dragonic man... In case of confusion ||

"I am warm in your summer,me upon
And cool in my winter,
But, you've trapped me upon the land,
So that I've lost control..."

Saiyuri was still on her quest to find her sister. Her cyan hues were scanning each face in the crowd. Surely, he sister would come for her right? Even if it was considered a loss on Saiyuri's part, her sister wouldn't abandon her would she? She frowned, shaking her head, as she pulled back, letting her hair wash through her hair, keeping it in straight waves without tangles. She closed her eyes momentarily, before turning her gaze to someone who had addressed her.

It was a male. He appeared to be flickering in between a solid, and transparent form. She scanned him quickly, before letting her cyan hues settle upon his face. He had asked for her name. She thought wether she should give it to him or not. Might as well have one friend in a place of terrible human trade. 'My name is Saiyuri. Who might you be?And what are you, that your form flickers more freely then mine?" She was curious if had overcome the power of suppression the collar produced. If so, she wanted to know his secret. She would not be forced to remain in one form if she could avoid it.

She smiled, turning to face him, her purple clothing dragging upon the floor as she studied him closer, moving to his side of the cage, perhaps to see if she could touch him. She wished to have one friend, rather then none.

Yea, I could make your life better...

Jack Kimmens

Jack felt something weird rap around his middle and looked down to see that it was furry. His eyebrow quirked upward instantly even though he knew the young chimera couldn't see it. So he then but his key into the slot and started her up. Instantly the bike roared to life and the small runes etched into it started to glow softly. Grinning madly he reached into his pocket once more this time coming out with two sets of goggles. He place one on his face and turned around to place the other on Tikabo's.
"You'll wanna wear these, mate. It'll stop the bugs, dirt and stuff from gettin' in your eyes." Manipulating the straps so that the rested comfortably around the giant blue ears, he then made sure the goggles actually fit over the others eyes. Glad with his work, he turned frontward, revved up his back and only shouted, "Hold on tight there, Tikabo, this ride might get a bit bumpy!" before lightly smacking one of the small runes (making it glow brighter) and taking off in a bright flash.

...but why would I want to?
