The wind blew through the grass and trees, the blades and leaves dancing in the wind, as the clouds rolled overhead, the sun shining between them. A lone swordsman stood in the middle of the grassy plain surrounded by the trees. His Gunblade sat atop his folded jacket just a little ways away from him. His hair flew upwards, defying the wind as green streaks of aura came and went around him. His eyes were closed, a calm look about him. The arua began to form more freely and visibly, the fiery green flow rising upwards as well.

Ryan opened his eyes as his aura flowed more openly, and rather violently. He was untrained in controlling his visible ki, but it has always been said that practice makes perfect. He kept his breathing calm as his aura slowed to a flow instead of a rush. He was getting closer to achieving his goal. This was favorable. He could now move onwards to his next goal. He needed to be able to move around the world on his own, without the use or need of capsule vehicles. Without needing to keep track of more possessions. He needed to master flight.

Ryan began forcing his ki downward while keeping his aura from becoming any more violent, keeping it at the same peaceful flow it was at now. Normally, his aura would continually grow more violent, but today, it was different. Today, his arua continued to flow peacefully. This was an excellent sign. It meant his control was growing. "C'mon, I got this." Ryan continued forcing his ki downwards, eventually attaining a bit of altitude. Floating is usually where Ryan attains before his ki fluctuates too much and he falls, but today he had it under control. He would complete this task at hand and prevail.

Slowly Ryan lifted himself into the air, rising slowly and steadily. Now that he actually knew which way to move and control his ki, it was like a second nature. Now to actually test out the speed of it. He took to the skies and flew upwards, flying as fast as possible. It was almost humiliating at how simple it seemed now, yet at how difficult it had been to actually learn how to fly. Ryan shook his head as he headed back to the ground and landed safely. It was still early in the day and there was still much to learn. Ryan looked over to his Gunblade and remembered at how he charged energy into it to strengthen the strikes when he pulled the trigger. But he hasn't been able to unleash it in a ki blast yet. Now was the time to try.

He aimed at a nearby tree, one a bit further out from the rest, and acted as if he were charging energy into his Gunblade, but instead it charged into the palm of his hand, forming a ball of ki. The ball fluctuated while it was in his hand. It was unstable. A different way of using the ki meant a different way of containing said ki. Before it exploded, he fired it, the ki disappating just a but further away from Ryan's hand. He shook his head as his aura flowed around him again, calmly as before. He held his hand out once more and concentrated. His breathing was calm, heartbeat was calm, and his mind was calm. His father had always said a calm mind, body, and soul was the key to conquering any technique and foe. It was time to put all the difficulties aside and finally climb over this obstacle and grasp what was in front of him.

Ryan held out his hand once more, this time with a firm grasp of mind as he flowed ki into his palm once more, this time in a more stable environment. The green ki swirled into the ball in his hand, managing to keep the ki stable and together. As the ball reached the size of a basketball, he thrust his hand forwards, sending the ki blast flying at the tree. Unfortunately, it curved off path and hit the ground to the left of the tree. It was better than before though. He tried again, the ki building in his hand. Again it swirled until the size it was before and he shot it forward towards the tree, his target in his sights. It hit dead on and the tree exploded in front of him, the wood landing around the plain.

The wood landing around Ryan was a prime target for firewood, and he was getting rather hungry. He began collecting the wood and piled it in the firepit he had made the night before. Before lighting it, he had to find some food to eat. There wasn't a river anywhere nearby that he saw, but there were deer in the forest. Hunting season was officially open. Ryan grabed his jacket and gunblade and rushed towards the forest, donning his jacket and strapping his gunblade to his waist, the blade hanging to the left side.

It was more difficult to find animals than it was yesterday. His scent had warned the animals off, so he would have to sense them to find them. It wasn't as difficult as the training he had just completed. It was actually rather simple. It was just a matter of sensing out the natural ki flow. It didn't take long for Ryan to find his mark. There were deer not too far from him in another clearing, feeding themselves. It was a rather barbaric thing to do, but it was the way life was. Kill or be killed. Ryan approached stealthily, making sure to be downwind, as to not startle the deer. He took no time in unsheathing his gunblade and charging a single shot into it. He rushed forward and unleashed the shot as he struck the deer, cleaving clean through.

He said a small thanks to the deer, in a respectful manner, and buried the head by blowing a hole in the ground with his ki blast. He then heaved the body back to his campsite and proceeded to gut and cook the deer. He looked to the sky as he ate his meal alone. He needed to get back to the world.

The next day started early for the former Xim Academy teacher Vergil. There was no doubt that questions were going to be raised to those who were unaware. The teachers would already know his situation but the students were another situation. Yes, the substitute from last night delivered him the techniques that he needed to study but he didn't want to be bothered by any students who may not believe what he had to say. On the contrary he would be getting to know some students here. He may even be able to grow bonds with people here at the Academy. With the curriculum in her hands Vergil Ligrev was her own teacher. His training was about to commence now. A good thing about having the entire curriculum was that the demon had a jump start. It was less than a week and already he was shooting for the top while other students were not even climbing yet.

Vergil could formulate the training program to his desire, with the limits being his imagination. If the Demon wanted to start off with more difficult techniques followed by basic ones that was possible. Vergil's demon blood that he was not aware of yet was also running through her veins. From his view, all he knew that day he attacked Dimitri was that he felt an enormous burst in power. Even though his transformation was unlocked at the moment, his demon blood would still assist him. The results the training had to offer would most likely come easier for him. Moves and conditioning that was prepared for Reiko and that had left the platinum haired warrior dazed and exhausted should only leave Vergil with minimal to no side effects.

It was morning where Vegil isolated himself from the other students at the West City.. It was still dark and the majority of the students and teachers were still asleep. The only ones who were students who had the same mindset similar to the demon; getting training out of the way early as possible to have the rest of the day to themselves. Also, to get a better grasp on a technique so when it was time to show their teachers what he or she learned, there was a better chance of pulling it off. Vergil of course didn’t have to worry about small problems such as those. The demon was skimming through the portfolio that contained the basics one more time before placing it under his left arm. The first move that Vergil was going to pull off was Ki blast. It was a simple, yet effective maneuver that he had to learn to survive out in this jungle. Sonya was wise in putting a lot of detail into the moves that were listed. Especially Ki energy and what it was, where it came from, etc. The more that Vergil read more about the Ki blast, the more it reminded the demon of his Evil Impulse technique.

The technique was first revealed by perhaps the strongest demon that there ever was: Arubad. With Arubad having the title of Demon King not only did it pump fear into the lower class demons but to the humans and other races as well. As mentioned before Vergil’s demon blood surging throughout his body would giver her advantage through her training. The demon knew that just by reading the material that the Ki blast was right up the alley of his evil impulse technique. Vergil followed the directions given to him in the portfolio and extended out his left arm. He was going to transfer her Ki energy into his palm and form it into a sphere. It would be nothing new for Vergil. The second he engaged in the act of transferring his ki into his free hand the feeling felt too familiar for Vergil.. And in just a matter of seconds, beating Reiko platinum haired warrior’s time and possibly Nina’s, the demon formed a platinum Ki sphere. His eyes widened up in excitement as she witnessed the birth of his first technique. The color of her Ki was what made the technique so marvelous to the eye of the demon. It reminded him of the gorgeous hair of Nina. Plus with its color, it was in a different category of its own. His ki color was an original, unlike the normal red, blue, yellow, green, and purple colors.

“So this is what Ki is?” Vergil asked himself as he continued to watch his Ki ball. “Lucky for me my evil impulse projectile is similar, so some of these moves, and the channeling should be pretty easy.”

She dismissed her Ki sphere after one show. Vergil was more than confident that she could engage in the start up process to activate it once more. After all it was practically similar to the evil impulse wave only was a sphere. It would be the first of many techniques that Vergil would use in order to take out Dimitri. Even thought it was one technique, if Vergil would be able to keep up this speed when it came to learning his moves, he may not get a chance to see his teacher. He would still follow what she told him and learn from different schools and places that would only make him stronger. Vergil Ligrev would know everything there was to know about Ki energy and the West City Academy. Almost like what he knew at the Xim academy. Vergil opened up the portfolio and dragged his finger down the page where it explained how to initiate the Ki blast; giving it an imaginary scratch from the list before going to the next technique.

Slade stood in the empty field waiting as a gentle breeze blew past. "This is the place we were supposed to meet for my first day of training right?" Slade asked himself as he looked behind, and then to the left, and then to the right for his instructor who was nowhere to be found.

"You forgot to look in one direction." A voice said from above Slade. He looked up to see a bald man in a green and blue karate gi hovering above him. After he got Slade's attention he proceeded to slowly fly down next to him, his long white beard dancing in the wind.

"So thats what you're gonna teach me today?" Slade asked as the instructor landed beside him.

"I will teach you much more than that Slade." The man said with a smile. He then folded his arms behind his back and proceeded to walk around Slade, as if inspecting him. He stopped back in front of Slade and said to him, "My name is Master Han, and i will teach you some basic skills that every warrior must know." Master Han then took a step closer to Slade and said, "First we will work on flight or simple levitation."

"Ok, and how do i do that?" Slade asked, not taking his eyes off of Master Han for a second.

"You know that ki is the energy that flows through every form of life there is right?" Master Han asked him as he slowly started to walk around Slade again. Slade looked at him and nodded, circling his body to stay facing him. "Good. Than you must know that you can manipulate your ki to do what you want it to do, right?" He asked Slade, but Slade just stood there with a puzzled look on his face. "Hmm... I guess not." Master Han said and stopped circling Slade. "Then I will teach you how to control your ki." He said as he slowly stroked his long white beard. "The first thing you must do is to close your eyes, calm your body, and sense your own ki." Master Han said as he closed his eyes, demonstrating this.

Slade closed his eyes, feeling the cool gentle breeze brush past him. Slowly he started to feel his own energy flowing through him. Master Han opened his eyes and watched Slade and said, "Once you have sensed your own ki you must learn how to control it. With your ki try to pull yourself upward into the air." Slade felt himself becoming lighter as he concentrated on trying to pull himself away from the earths gravity. Master Han watched as Slade started to slowly rise in the air, and he thought to himself, "Hmm... This kid is a quick learner." After Slade was about fifteen feet in the air Master Han told him to open his eyes.

Slade opened his eyes to find himself floating over his instructor, he then looked down at his feet only to find nothing underneath them. Shocked, Slade struggled for footing and fell to the ground, landing on his butt. Master Han walked over to Slade, who was still sitting on the ground rubbing his butt, and said, "Very good Slade, practice that more and soon you will be a master flyer in no time."

"Whats next?" Slade asked still rubbing off the pain in his butt.

"The next thing you will learn is to use your ki as an offensive blast against your opponent in battle." Master Han said and reached out his hand and pulled Slade to his feet. Slade brushed himself off and then Master Han said to him, "Close your eyes and concentrate you ki again, but this time concentrate all your ki to your right hand." Slade closed his eyes hard and concentrated with all his might.

Soon a dark navy blue ball of energy started to appear around his right hand, Slade opened his eyes and saw it and anxiously, "What now Master?"

"Now that you have your ki all in one place you can now shoot it out of your hand like a weapon." Master Han held out his arm, concentrated his ki to his hand in the shape of a small white orb, aimed at a large rock out in the distance, and shot it out of his hand. His white ki blast soared through the air and hit the rock dead on, exploding it into a billion pieces. He then turned to Slade and siad, "Your turn."

Slade concentrated and then pushed his ki away from his hand, it left his body a lot slower than Master Han's did and landed on the ground about twenty feet away. "Don't worry." Master Han said seeing the look on Slade's face. "How about we try that again, but this time power up before doing the ki blast." Master Han said with a smile.

"Power up?" Slade asked, staring at Master Han with a confused look on his face.

"Powering up is used to increase one's power level so that a greater advantage in battle can be obtained." Master Han said. "Here let me show you." He then took a couple steps away from Slade and started to power up. All of the sudden a white aurora appeared around him and it grew larger and larger the more he concentrated. The grass around him danced like it was in a wind storm and the pebbles and rocks started to rise around him.

"Thats amazing." Slade said under his breath, watching Master Han in awe. Master Han then powered down and the pebbles and rocks dropped and the grass started to calm down. "So, how do i do this one?" Slade asked him.

"It is quite simple really. All you have to do is concentrate on your ki again and start to charge it and make it grow and release it all around your body." Master Han said to him. Slade closed his eyes and tried it, but nothing happened. Seeing the frustration on Slade's face, Master Han said, "It usually helps if you think about something that makes you angry or hurt." Slade closed his eyes again and thought about his father and how he was murdered. Suddenly something inside of him just clicked and with a loud yell there was a huge dark blue aurora dancing around his body and the rocks levitated and the grass shook. "There you got it!" Master Han said with a slight smile on his face. "Now that you are powered up you can try to do the ki blast again. Hold out your hand in the direction of that other large rock over there and build up your ki in you hand again." Slade held out his arm and felt the ki in his hand grow into a huge dark blue ball. He then released it, sending it shooting towards the rock causing a massive explosion. "Good!" Master Han shouted. "Now to power down all you have to do is just calm your mind and clear it of any angry or hurtful thoughts."

Slade cleared his mind and everything started to return to normal. The aurora disappeared, the rocks fell back to the ground, and the grass stopped shaking. "That felt incredible!" Slade thought to himself.

"Very good job Slade. Now I will teach you ki sense, or how to sense other peoples ki." Master Han said to him. "Now close your eyes and concentrate on everything else but yourself." He said and Slade closed his eyes. "Now try to concentrate on my ki and try to sense it. I will move around you and you try to track me" Master Han said. He walked around Slade and Slade shifted his body, facing him the whole time. "Good job!" Master Han said. "I think you have learned enough for today. We will finish tomorrow with the other techniques." He said to Slade. They both approached each other and bowed to each.

"Thank you." Slade said and started walking in the direction of his house. Looking at the setting sun Slade thought to himself, "What time is it? Mom must be worried about me, I better head home quick." Then he darted off into the sunset.

The next technique that he was going to do was a technique that was planted inside of the majority of all living things since they saw their favorite superhero perform the feature. Vergil couldn't believe it at first when he saw the technique. Did the West City Academy really have techniques such as these!? And what about the schools outside of West City Academy? Did they too, possess techniques that Vergil never thought he was going to learn in his lifetime? Leaning this technique would definitely bring Vergil one step closer in his quest of taking down Dimitri once and for all. The next technique that Vergil was going to do was the Sky Dance Technique. With this technique, Vergil was granted full access to the skies. He wouldn't have to be restricted by the ground any longer if he was successful with the Sky Dance technique.

Vergil Ligrev took the portfolio from underneath his arm and placed it on the ground away from him, preparing himself to perform the Sky Dance technique. In case this move was a bit too advanced for him Vergil had a back-up technique that he was going to do as well. From what Sonya wrote in with the Sky Dance technique, if Vergil was able to channel his energy to his hand in the form of a platinum sphere, he was able to channel that ki inside of his body. That was what the Sky Dance technique was about. It was channeling one’s energy or one’s ki energy underneath their feet and using that energy to repel him or her off of the ground. The Xim demon took a deep breath and tried to concentrate, allowing his ki energy that was built up inside of him to channel around his body for a few moments. It was just to get used to the feeling of doing it. There were other techniques out there that would require Vergil to put in more ki energy that what the simple ki sphere required or his Evil Impulse attack. Once the Xim demon, Vergil Ligrev got comfortable manipulating his ki energy inside of his body he began to redirect a percentage of his ki energy to his quadriceps, his shins and finally his feet. Once he felt the energy resting there, as if it was awaiting the next step in Vergil’s plan, the demon closed his eyes and used his energy to repel his feet off of the ground. It took a while at first, which was not a problem at all to Vergil. The man was patient and when one got to his performance, he or she understood that patience with techniques would reveal rewards. So when the demon opened his eyes, they revealed to him the lands outside of the West City Academy and as far as the eye could see.

The demon was almost fifty feet off of the ground, an impressive feature for anyone trying this move for the first time. That was, if a student of the West City Academy was able to pull off such height in a difficult move. The platinum haired warrior, Reiko was able to pull of the Sky Dance technique but due to the restrictions of his body his body became more exhausted. The demon laughed in an excited tone as he moved around a little bit without any excess strain on his body. Not only was that another technique that he learned in such short time but the demon was able to fly! He was no longer bounded by the ground; no more long trips that involved sore feet at the end of the travel. With this technique any destination became so much quicker to get to. If he wanted, the demon could even travel back to his home and amaze the young warriors with his new talents. Perhaps he could persuade some teachers, or even Sonya to join them. Any ally was important for his task in taking down Dimitri; especially if those allies were someone that had the same motive as him. The platinum haired demon was so excited that he was able to perform a technique a high percentage of the people on earth would not be able to do or see that he quickly went to his next technique.

The platinum haired demon kept his position in the air as he began to close his eyes and concentrate on his breathing, doing exactly what Sonya told him to do inside of the notes of the portfolio. She wrote inside to focus on his breathing and his energy to conjure up his own Ki energy and then use that to sense the lifeline of the creatures and people that was around the Platinum haired demon. The first few quick breaths he took were nothing special or new to him. In reality he did not really need the warm up to do the Ki sense. In the condition he was in right now, even afloat he was not tired yet and could still keep going. Plus the platinum haired demon meditated a lot during his time at the Academy. It wasn’t a requirement but it was a strong piece of advice from the teachers to learn more about and accept and engage in the practice. Similar to the experience he felt moments ago the platinum haired demon experienced something he never felt before as his concentration began to fuse with his life force. A good way to describe it was a warm sensation all over Vergil’s body. At first he wasn’t able to pinpoint the location of what was around him but suddenly begin to feel strong ki presence around him. The platinum haired demon wasn’t afraid but excited for this was an experience that he has never felt before. The Ki sense technique reminded Vergil of the teachers of the Xim academy gather any information of Ki energy? It seemed like they got something about it when they canceled the aging process of the platinum haired warrior. The demon didn’t need something such as the process Reiko went through; still it was very impressive. If they knew about Ki energy then certainly they would not hide information from the black haired demon right? If so, it was an eye for an eye; Vergil had information on the Xim academy and his superiors had information of ki energy. Vergil practiced the Ki sense technique for a few more moments, scoping those around him without looking at their bodies before he descended to the ground. That was two techniques that he just learned, three in total. Vergil went to his portfolio and scratched off that technique with his hand before proceeding with the other techniques.

It seemed that after he learned his first three techniques the West City Academy offered him, plus the notes that Sonya provided the black/ platinum haired demon. In addition, the practice of channeling his ki energy and distributing it inside of his body and into other specific places such as limbs the other techniques came quick. The energy shield technique was picked up by Vergil much faster then the platinum haired warrior. All he had to do was distribute his ki energy, release it and manipulate it into the form of a platinum sphere that covered him like a shield. Just to get a good feel of the technique, he canceled the energy shield and performed it a few more times before he understood the basics of the technique thanks to Sonya. The solar flare technique was similar as well. All he had to do was distribute the ki energy from his hands that would be close to his face and he would perform the technique. The demon went to the skies once more, leaving his portfolio on the ground as he positioned his hands the solar flare technique required him. Once he did that he focused his energy into the attack and yelled out the name.

“Solar Flare!!!”

An enormous flash of light fired out that had potential to easily blind anyone that got to close to the blast or who was unfortunate enough to be unable to shield their eyes. Since nobody was around Vergil, no one was harmed during the activation of this technique. His last two techniques came to him easy as pie. For the afterimage, the demon had to descend to the ground to perform this technique. He figured that it would be easy for him to perform the technique on the ground. Being a demon he most likely had natural abilities the average person didn’t have so the afterimage technique would be easier for him. Sonya mentioned it was similar to the techniques he’s done. So once more, Vergil channeled his ki energy throughout his body, feeling it like an aura was present. Vergil got into a stance and dashed a few feet ahead, noticing that the feeling he had moments ago was gone. When Vergil looked around, he noticed himself, literally for a few seconds before the afterimage disappeared.

“Heh, I think I’ll like this Afterimage technique a bit more so far.”

His last technique to pull of was to power-up, which was one of the easiest techniques in the West City Academy. Looking through the portfolio once more, his teacher Sonya described it as relaxing a certain amount of energy, or disguises it. This would be a good technique against Dimitri. There was nothing worse than realizing that one may have bitten off more than they could chew. The demon powered up, concentrating the Ki energy into his body and felt it slowly fade from him when he powered down. Yet the energy was still there in the relaxed state Sonya mentioned. He practiced that move a couple of times before he took a deep breath. What other students were taking months, even years to accomplish, and the demon finished in less than a day. It was a good thing that Sonya told him the time to learn these techniques were going to be quick, otherwise he would have been disappointed. On the contrary learning the techniques so fast meant that he was taking quick steps to getting his revenge. In celebration, the demon picked up the portfolio, placed it back in his room and slept most of his morning away. Vergil deserved it and when he would wake up and celebrate on a night out on the town.

The wind continued to blow over the clearing where Ryan was camped out as he ate his lunch. The deer had done more than filled him up, and he left the rest for the carnivorous animals that had caught the scent of the hickory smoked meat. He extinguished the flames by blowing a small amount of ki through the fire, creating just a wind instead of an actual blast. He had spent enough time out in the wilderness, and it was time to head back to the West City Academy. His teacher had sent him out for training, and told him to be back before two. He had an hour left to get there, but with his newly acquired ability to fly, he would now be able to get there in just a short amount of time, instead of taking two hours on foot.

Ryan stretched himself out after climbing to his feet. He patted his stomach and then strapped his Gunblade to his side once more. The old blade still held the pristine sheen of a newly forged weapon that had been made for a warrior. Only the greatest of masters could tell that the craftsmanship of the blade allowed easy cleaning, and difficult wear.

With his stomach full and his pride beared on his chest at mastering his new skills, Ryan's aura quickly appeared, the fiery green flowing upwards with power. The warrior took to the sky, his destination the West City Academy. It took nearly no time at all for Ryan to reach the prestigious fighting academy, its grounds great. It never seemed to be at a lack of instructors, despite the great amount of students. It was a one on one pairing for each before the students went to their own distinctive schools.

Ryan continued onto his individual instructor, walking tall with his pride shown evidently on his chest. He had been told about what pride could do to a fighter, but this was not a life or death situation. This was just training. He was proud of himself for accomplishing what most of the world still could not do. He then was blindsided by the hilt of a blade, hit square in the arm with enough strength to send him flying, yet somehow to leave no more than a red mark underneath his jacket.

"How many times have I told you of that pride? I know how you are, and I know how your father and grandfather were, but none of that matters here. I have told you time before and time again that you are to be on your feet at all times, constantly surveying the surroundings." The assailant turned his blade hilt upwards and sat the point of the sword on the ground, resting his hands on the top as if it were a cane. The man was older, but not quite elderly. His black hair was greying, and the wrinkles were beginning to show on his face. But his sharp brown eyes showed the vigor of a seasoned swordsman.

Ryan stood up, his usual cocky smirk spread across his face. He patted the dirt off the arm that hit the ground, and then looked towards the attacker. "I will admit, that attack caught me off guard, but I did conquer a good little bit out in the wilderness." Ryan held up his hand and formed a ball of ki while taking a bit into the air and floating steadily. "I was always better at doing, especially when I don't have your berating ringing in my ears." He then dissipated the ki ball and landed back on the ground softly, his smirk sat on his face, reassuring what he had learned.

"That's very good and all, but you still have much to learn before you can proceed onto the Kikoukenjutsu School. And I suggest you do it soon. You have the ability, and now that you've mastered your ki flow, you should be able to master the rest of the abilities that you will need to survive in this world. Despite how things are here, there are those that would wish you harm if it meant they would gain from it." The old man turned and slung his longsword over his shoulder, the blade resting on a piece of shoulder armor so it would not cut into his skin. Ryan had guessed it was because of a mistake made earlier in life. "Come."

Ryan followed his master through the academy's hall, his left hand resting on the hilt of his Gunblade as he walked, knowing that he was about to be in for a training session. His swordfighting was great, but his master's was the best he had seen, aside from his father and grandfather, but he wouldn't admit if that was pride talking, or actual honest to kami truth.

The two of them entered the sparring area, and took up an empty arena to the far side, as to not attract a crowd. It wasn't for the fact that neither Ryan or his master cared about being noticed or not, but it was about the fact that it offered the both of them the time to think of an opening attack. The two of them split as they reached the arena and entered at opposite sides. The arena was large enough for a ground fight, but aerial battles weren't so much as able to be conducted in this area. Especially since there was a roof in case of rain. "I know you have shown me what you have learned, but remember, I know know what abilities you hold. I will only hold back enough to not hurt you, but I will not hold back humiliation."

Ryan only nodded as he withdrew his Gunblade from its sheath. He made the mistake of keeping it sheathed the first few times he and his master had sparred, and it ended up being more a defeat of pride than a defeat of skill. His master took his stance, which was Ryan's cue that the fight was officially begun.

Ryan began the battle by charging ki into the Gunblade's six chambered cylinder, making sure that he was ready and loaded for when he needed an edge. He spent the better half of one full year training with his master on swordfighting alone. His technique was altered, as his Gunblade was a different weapon. One that was rarely used as it is not angled like a normal blade. Even more so is they were difficult to maintain if not made correctly. Luckily for Ryan, his was made perfectly.

Ryan rushed forwards, his Gunblade at the ready as his master pulled his blade and sat there. Ryan was expecting an After Image Strike, but he was prepared this time. He could sense where his master had gone to, and dodged out of the way just in time by use of his own After Image and fired a ki blast at his master. Like he expected, the master deflected it and the shielding around the arena dissipated it to prevent any harm from being done outside of the arena. His master used the time that Ryan had from recoil to strike with his hilt. "Focus!"

Ryan reeled back, but caught himself and quickly readied his stance. He didn't want to be caught off guard with someone who would use that in an instant's notice. Ryan rushed forward and brought his sword up in an upwards slash, a blue beam cutting forth towards his master. "ROUGH DIVIDE!" The beam connected with his master's sword, the force throwing him backwards, but he kept the block up, eventually deflecting it as he did the ki blast. He then rushed forwards himself, unleashing his own signature attack. An afterimage strike that made many images around the opponent and then he struck in from a random direction, this time from the back of Ryan.

But Ryan was prepared. He had extended an Energy Shield in all directions, making sure the impact was minimum. The master still broke through, but instead of sending Ryan flying, it just knocked him forwards a bit, giving him enough time to round about and throw his sword up. He quickly put his hands in front of his eyes and shouted out his attack. "SOLAR FLARE!"

Ryan raised his hand back up and caught his Gunblade, swinging it down in front of him and up his other side to displace the momentum gained by the throw and the blade spinning through the air. He looked back to see his master blinded for a short while, and took the opprotunity for a strike. He leaped towards his master but his Gunblade met his master's longsword. "Fool, I can still sense you even though I am temporarily blinded. Why do you think I did not grab at my eyes?!" He extended an energy shield of his own, throwing Ryan a good deal backwards, a few feet from the edge of the arena.

He took no time in waiting for Ryan to stand. A volley of low powered ki blasts were hurled towards Ryan. It was all the young warrior could do to keep from getting hit by all of them by waving his hand back and forth, his own ki ball deflecting the ones he could catch. Needless to say, a fair bit of them got through and Ryan stood, his clothes dirtied and his face scratched a bit. He was panting and hunched over a bit. "I ain't done yet...I still have one more trick up my sleeve."

Ryan flew forwards, his Gunblade held out as he charged the cylinder with energy one last time. He'd have to use a combination of all of his training if he was to come out even remotely close to victory. That was all he was aiming for. To be able to at least match some of his master's skill. That was all he wanted for now. He began by using an After Image, appearing behind, and then beside his master when the longsword came whipping around. Luckily for Ryan, it was in the opposite direction he was heading, and his master couldn't whip around quick enough. Ryan slashed and pulled the trigger, unleashing a shockwave of ki through the Gunblade.

His master went reeling and caught himself, standing up straight and sheathing his blade before Ryan could even recover. "We are done. You have done well. I am finished with you." He then turned and walked out of the arena and out into the halls. Ryan knew he wasn't one for goodbyes or anything of the like, so he just sheathed his Gunblade and left on his own, out of the academy and out into the world. He was his own master now.

Click to show. The platinum haired saiyan kept her position on the ground, closing her eyes and concentrate on his breathing, doing exactly what the notes inside of the portfolio told her. Sensing Ki energy would be her next technique and if the platinum haired saiyan was able to pull this off, it would prove to be a valuable technique. The notes told Nina to once again, use her Ki energy to sense the lifeforce of the creatures and people that was around the Platinum haired demon. Nina would also be able to pinpoint their location whether they were in front of her, or miles away from her. The notes told to engage in a few breaths before performing the technique. However she was a Xim student as well as a teacher. Just like Reiko and Vergil she too praticed meditating. Not to mention she was a half human half saiyan! With those genes running throughout the platinum haired saiyan's body twenty-four hours a day, a warm up like Sonya mentioned wasn't necessary to do the Ki sense. Most likely it was for those who were just like Reiko. Similar to Vergil, the status she was in right now, she was able to keep the ball rolling and not worried about getting tired over such rudimentary techniques. Similar to the experience she felt moments ago when she tried her Ki sphere the platinum haired saiyan experienced something she never felt before as her concentration began to become harder to get interrupted. Nina was engaging in sensing the ki of others.

A good way to describe it was a soothing sensation all over the platinum haired saiyan's body. At first she wasn’t able to pinpoint the location or sense the lifeforce of what was around her but suddenly begin to feel strong ki presence all over her. One in particular was a ki presence right next to her. Nina looked over to her shoulder to see a student walking in a calm manner. The platinum haired saiyan had a smile on her face showing excitement for this was something that the platinum haired saiyan has never felt before. The Ki sense technique reminded her of Reiko and how the Xim teachers altered the natural process of aging in the body. It seemed like after learning more about Ki energy they knew something about it and when they canceled the aging process of the platinum haired warrior, that was a small taste. If they knew about Ki energy then they would not hide such information from the platinum haired saiyan. If so, it was a grave mistake. If Nina had information on Ki energy from her superiors than perhaps she would have warned them of Dimitri's arrival. They would have been a bit stronger and at least put up a fight for Dimitri. Instead they bowed down and accepted his new order. Nina practiced the Ki sense technique a couple of more times, gathering the location and lifeforce of people and creatures around her zone without even looking at their bodies before going to the next techniques. In less than an hour two techniques were in the posession of Nina Yenosa. The platinum haired warrior went to his portfolio and scratched off that technique with his hand before proceeding with the other techniques. She was picking up these techniques faster than she expected and questioned her stay once she mastered them all.

The platinum haired saiyan began to perform her next technique that the portfolio showed. The next technique was something that the platinum haired saiyan couldn't believe when she saw the technique. Perfecting this technique would definitely do more than just improve Nina's performance to the point where she was powerful enough in taking down Dimitri. The next technique that Nina was going to accomplish was the Sky Dance Technique, or flight. With this technique, Vergil was granted full access to the skies. He wouldn't have to be restricted by the ground any longer if he was successful with the Sky Dance technique. She had to relax and calm herself, for she was like a kid on christmas day when she was on this technique.

The platinum haired saiyan wasted little effort or time in preparing herself to perform the Sky Dance technique. Unlike Vergil or Reiko's case where this move may be too difficult for them during the first crack at it, This would be one of the easiest techniques for Nina. She already got the hang of transferring her Ki energy and that was what the Sky Dance was about in a nutshell. It was channeling one’s energy or one’s ki energy underneath their feet and using that energy to repel him or her off of the ground. The platinum haird saiyan took a deep breath and tried to concentrate, allowing ki energy that was built up inside of er to channel around the body for a few moments. There were other techniques out there that would require more ki energy that what the simple ki sphere required or his sword attack. Once Nina felt the comfortable feeling of manipulating her ki energy inside of his body she began to redirect a percentage of his ki energy to his quadriceps, her shins and finally the feet. Once he felt the energy resting there, as if it was awaiting the next step in Vergil’s plan, the demon closed his eyes and used his energy to repel his feet off of the ground. And in less than seconds the platinum haired saiyan was able to see the lands outside of the West City Academy and as far as the eye could see.

Nina was above fifty feet, smiling and laughing at the same time as she was able to easily perform flying for the first time! Iff a student of the West City Academy such as Nina was able to pull off such height in a difficult move; there was no telling what she could accomplish with more extreme moves. The platinum haired saiyan continued to laugh in an excited tone as she moved around the skies, doing 360's, spins, anything she could think of. Not only was that another technique that she learned in such short time but the saiyan was able to fly! Nina was no longer bounded by mother nature till death. There was no more wishing that they could be among the clouds and stars. Now it was possible if she wanted to do it. With this technique any destination became so much quicker to get to. If she wanted, the demon could even travel back to her place of origin amaze the young warriors with his new talents. If possible she could persuade some of the people there join her. Any ally was important for his task in taking down Dimitri. Especially those who left the academy around the time the platinum haired saiyan did; also if those students or teacher were someone that had the same plan she had in mind.

It seemed that after the platinum haired saiyan learned her first three techniques the West City Academy offered her, plus the notes that Sonya provided the platinum haired saiyan. In addition to the practice of channeling ki energy and distributing it inside of the body and into other specific places such as limbs the other techniques came quick. The energy shield technique was picked up by Nina much faster then Vergil or the platinum haired warrior. All she had to do was distribute ki energy over her body, release it and manipulate it into the form of a Ki sphere that covered him like a shield. Just to prove that she was a quick learner, she activated her energy shield and without performing the move again and again, understood the technique thanks to Sonya. The solar flare technique was just the same. She was more confident at this rate in her abilities. All she had to do was distribute the ki energy from her hands that would be close to his face and he would perform the technique. The demon would do less energy into this attack because she didn't want to blind anyone caught in the blast.

"Solarrr flarrre!"

An enormous flash of light fired out right when she screamed it, blinding anyone that got to close to the blast or who was unfortunate enough to be unable to shield their eyes. Luckily there were no casulties. The last two techniques she needed to know before she could rest came to her easy as pie. For the afterimage, Nina channeled her ki energy throughout his body, got into a stance and dashed foward like she was a track runner, noticing that the feeling she had moments ago was gone. Not only did she get impresive distance but when the platinum haired demon looked around, she noticed a copy of herself that remained there for a short time.

“Alright, just one more....”

Powering-up, was one of the easiest techniques in the West City Academy next to her flight. This would be a good technique against Dimitri. She could hide her power level and when Dimitri was expecting nothing more from Nina she could explode with her power. It was a good chance of catching him off guard. The platinum haired saiyan powered up, concentrating the Ki energy into her body and could feel it slowly drop in quantity when she powered down. And yet... the energy was still there in the relaxed state, just like her teacher Sonya mentioned. Or at least, ther person who wrote the notes. It wasn't one hundred percent yet who her teacher was. What other students were taking months, even years to accomplish, and the demon finished in less than a day. It was a good thing that Sonya wrote in the portfolio the time to learn these techniques were going to be quick, because she quickly became disappointed. Then she remembered that there were more places outside of West City Academy that took in any student and trained them as one of their own. In celebration, the platinum haired saiyan picked up the portfolio, placed it back in his room and slept the day away. Nina had just finished climbing the baby steps of her training.

Rosalia
User Image

User Image"....." It hardly seemed that the silver-haired girl was aware of anything ever since she was dropped off at the acamedy. With her Ansatsuken Dojo underway for rebuild, she didn't exactly have a place to return to until then. The Red Ribbon army that had taken all the fighters that were still alive removed the parasites in their systems and pretty much dropped them off quickly elsewhere. The reason for Rosalia's lack of energy wasn't of the fight itself or the aftermath of the earthworm's virus - finding that Reiko was killed in battle was what got her. Closing her head as she kept against the wall, she shook off her thoughts again. Well... it wasn't like Reiko couldn't come back, anyway. She just wished that she had paid more attention to her comrades during battle.

"Are you still moping? And I thought that I'd find a strong pupil upon my return." Rosalia's head jerked upward to look at the person who spoke. The person happened to be her mentor that had been gone for several months, Lizaari. It had been so long that the silver-haired girl gazed up at her mentor for a minute without talking before shaking her stupor out of her. "I am a strong pupil, stronger than from before." "Oh? And so nothing about the fight I've heard about back at our dojo has nothign to do with your quietness?" Rosalia wanted to glare or scowl, but she merely blinked slowly. Lizaari smirked as she withdrew her katanas from their sheathes from her back. Instinctively, Rosalia pulled out her double-bladed weapon, weary now and much more alert. "If you're really stronger, then we should get started. After all, how else will I get to critize your progress?" "You will have nothing to critize, I promise you that." "We'll see about that!"

Lizaari moved so fast that Rosalia could only block before she could regain her bearings. As her mentor pulled back and readjusted her stance, Rosalia had moved forward to attack; leaping into the air, she slashed down onto the woman, who laughed as she blocked the attack. What she didnt' expect was when the winged girl disappeared from view and came up from behind, striking a kick at the back of her mentor. Grudgingly, the mentor had to admit that the girl had gotten much faster, and even stronger. Whatever the parasite incident had done to her, it was more of a benefit. But Rosalia wasn't the only one that had gotten stronger. Lizaari jumped into the air and prepared her attack. "Dragon Crusher." Her right hand charged up with ki energy before it surrounded her entirely. Flying at the girl with her entire body spinning, the ki reared up and took the appearance of a dragon as the mentor flew at her so fast.

But she didn't prepare to dodge; rather, she flew at her mentor with a golden aura that channeled through her body before it gathered into her right fist.
"Murderous Strong Rising Dragon!" Leaping up to meet her mentor half-way, she did an uppercut as she spun to add more strength behind the attack. The two's fists met one another, and to both of their surprise, Rosalia's attack was more effective and had sent Lizaari backwards at the wall. Because of all her lessons from her mentor, Rosalia flew at her rather than allow her time to recover, her body flashing red just briefly. She halted in midair and released the Scorching Surge Fist technique onto Lizaari, who landed against the wall with her feet first. But she didn't have the time to dodge as she looked up and was hit by the technique.

Lizaari landed on the ground stunned as Rosalia flipped backwards and landed lightly on her feet. Rosalia was amazed that she had brought her teacher down for the first time. After several minutes, the black-haired woman began to laugh, and it continued as she got to her feet. There was new-found respect for the girl she had once considered less than a fighter.
"My my, how the child can grow. Not bad, kid. You must have been keeping up with your studies after all." Lizaari went over to her and patted the winged girl on the back, who was a little weary of her mentor approaching so friendly. But this was how the two were.

Reaver casually strolls into the Academy, a place of weaklings that all deserved to die. He slowly shook his head while he looked around for the Dragon ball's location. It would be a sad day if he had to destroy everyone just to find it, although the sad day would certainly not be for him. Turning his gaze onto the location with his 3D scan, Reaver casually nods his head and moves towards the spot, before kneeling and lifting the Dragonball into his hand. Looking at it, he chuckles, it was the four star. One of the last ones he needed to find. Now there would be only one left, if he had counted correctly, and this meant that he would need to go off hunting for it now. There was already a ping on his radar for it, and that made everything very interesting for him.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. The demon's celebration as a result of learning the basics of the West City academy was a night out on the town with some other students from the West City Academy as well. They did not pick up on the basics like Vergil Ligrev did but they were still good company and celebrated with him nonetheless. Their night consisted of non-alcholic drinks and partying at a place near Central City. Non alcoholic drinks was what Vergil preferred, thought that could not be said about the other students that were celebrating with him. Vergil could tell the ones that were going to push it twice as hard the next day and the ones that were going to slack off because they had too much to drink. The last thing Vergil needed was to have one too many drinks and the next day, forget what he practiced. Not only would that look terrible on his part but he would have to do all that training over again. In addition, his teacher may recovere from his sickness and expect Vergil to know the basics. One could not do that when they had a hangover the next day; well, a few could. But what did occur the next day was something completely unexpected to Vergil.

The demon woke up from his slumber the next day refreshed, eager to try out his new techniques on an actual being. Sparring by oneself was always a good thing but in Vergil Ligrev's eyes, it never beat the option of actually having a good session with someone else. That was, if the person he was sparring with was actually good and was at least up to his level, if not close. Those who were unable to hang with Vergil Ligrev in terms of performance were stuck sparring with someone who matched their performance. After the demon freshened up, he noticed that there was a note that was slid underneath his drawer. Was it more techniques from Sonya? Vergil got the note, opened it up and was pleased and excited about what it said. The note told him that his teacher, Sonya was back to one hundred percent again and that she would be outside in a few mintues. To kill some time, she arranged a student for him that was up to his performance. The student that Sonya assigned was similar to Vergil, in learning the basics of the West City Academy. Not wasting any time at all, Vergil went outside and the person that he saw waiting for him caused his heart to race.

"Nina?..."

The Xim demon told himself that it could not be Nina Yenosa. The last time he saw her was when he was at the Xim academy. Dimitri had just stated that he was here to take what was his and he was going to take the academy to new heights. He didn't blame her for not attacking for the platinum haired saiyan could have killed her easily. Vergil was more certain of this after his fight with Dimitri. After he was banished from the academy he did not hear too much from her. His spies at the Xim academy kept him informed every now and then to avoid getting caught, killed, tortured, etc. As a result, the information he acquired was very little. Vergil was glad to see that Dimitri did not get his hands on her but was curious as to why she was here. Was she in a similar predicament that Vergil was in? Whatever the answer was he hoped that she was on the good side, and not being a spy for Dimitri

Nina's day turned out to be similar to Vergil Ligrev's. Instead of partying and dancing the night away, the platinum haired saiyan spent her night at the West City Academy. When she woke up it was in the evening, so most of it was spent meditating and having dinner at the West City Academy with some students. Unlike Vergils crowd, some of them pick up on the basics quickly. There were even some that knew more than Nina, but took the role of a teacher's assistant. Their good company made the atmosphere much better in addition to the celebration of the platinum haired saiyan mastering the basics in less than 24 hours. Their night consisted of some alcholic drinks, stories, a few demonstrations here and there, and light sparring. The night could not have gone any better. The stories that the platinum haired saiyan heard was interesting. Some were even similar to hers. Some of those students were here to get stronger and once they did they would go back home. Participating in the martial arts tournament was also a goal for some of the students celebrating with the platinum haired saiyan. Some wanted to go for revenge and others just wanted the fame and glory. Nina was interested in the martial arts tourament and would keep an eye out on it in the future. From what the students told her she had some time to train before the tournement began and they went in division. That was good news to hear; time to train and she would stand a chance.

The platinum haired saiyan woke up next day refreshed and ready to try some new techniques at a different academy. Last night she heard some students talking about places such as Central City or the kikoukenjustu school offeirng to take up students. The platinum haired saiyan was a fan of sparring just like Vergil was and didn't mind training by herself. She saw it as a workout; those workouts became boring when she felt she gained nothing out of her workout however. Then again having a good session with someone else that was just as good, if not better was a choice she would always pick over a lone training session. There were only a few in the category of speed, power, defense, stamina, etc that could roll with Nina back at the Academy. If he or she was not in the elite class they had no business trying to prove he or she was better than the platinum haired Saiyan. After Nina freshened up, she noticed that there was a note that was slid underneath his drawer. Similar to the Xim demon Vergil Ligrev's. Nina got the note, opened it up and what was inside was almost the same as Vergil's note. The note told him that his teacher, Sonya had recovered from her sickness and that she would be outside in a few mintues. Nina was suprised that she was ready to teach after her sickness. Or maybe it wasn't as fatal as person she met the first day made it out to be. The note continued on, saying that she did need some time to prepare and to make sure that they knew their techniques, she arranged a student for her that had a knack for learning just like she did. The platinum haired saiyan did not waste any time at all as she was outside moments later with her arms crossed. Right when she stepped out, she noticed someone in all black and had small streaks of platinum hair running through their scalp. When she heard the person called out her name, she knew that it was none other than Vergil Ligrev. She was suprised and shocked to see him here just as he was.

"Vergil!"

The two ran to each other and engaged in a nice, tight hug before catching up.

"I thought when Dimitri took you out of the Academy we would never see you again!"

"Yeah i thought i wouldn't be able to see you again either. After i got the boot i wandered around for years until i met a girl named Sonya. She told me about this place and i came here to train...to get my rematch."

"You're gonna go back to the Xim Academy..."

"Yes..is there a problem?"

"Not at all. After you left I slowly began to make my leave from the Academy as well, until i wasn't a teacher anymore. I trained here and there for a while until i got a invitation here to the Academy."

"Are you going back to the Xim academy after you get stronger."

"Yes. I plan to take back the school and turn it back into what it was before he got here."

"Well it looks like we're in the same boat."

"Always have been; nothing's changed." Nina smiled.

"Did the invitation say who your teacher was?"

"No, but they told me that she was suffering from a bad sickness until today in a note i got, where she's supposed to show up."

"Heh...then we have the same teacher then. I was informed in a note as well that she was supposed to show up.....and-"

"That they arranged a sparring partner for us to train with until she would arrive." Nina finished.

"Well it looks like you didn't miss a step in your training Nina. You always were a quick learner."

"You were as well, that's why we were part of the elite division."

"Well then." Vergil told her before he got into his fighting stance. "Seems like we got work to do. You may have gotten the moves down, but let's see how two years really treated your performance.

The platinum haired saiyan got into her fighting stance and smirked at Vergil. " Ladies first." she smiled.

Rage finally made his way to the academy. He had been in like three huge battles but he had never Actually made it to the academy. Now he was here to learn with the best of the basics. At least so that he could fly and be able to do basic combats instead of slinging a katana around like a mad man. He was just wasting energy. He didn't like that, He knew that he had a strong will with his ki and he had to learn how to control this. Especailly since he was naturally weaker than a lot of people. He would have to learn how to make his power work for him..instead of his power working him.

"Eh...Should be fun right. I want to protect the world."

Rage finally said as he gave a thumbs up in a cheesy fashion. He walked towards the first master and he bowed his head.

"My name is RAge it is a pleasure to meet you. Iwish to train under you..so I can become a full fledge samurai again sir."

Rage said pleasantly.

Hurkon arrived at the west city academy after his long travels from the Break wastelands. He always stood out, wherever he went because of his green Namekian skin. He of course had no problem with this, it was his pride and glory. He despised anyone not green, and his aim was to destroy humans and anything inhabiting earth that wasnt namekian. This was largely due to the fact that he was raised not on his glorious home world, but on this dirty hell hole of a planet. He would wipe out the natives and claim it as the new namek. But first, he would need to get stronger first, and that is why he was at West City Academy, to train and learn all he could so one day world conquest would be his. He knew that he wouldn't be able to conquer it anytime soon, but he should soon enough. He just needed to be calm and bide his time while his power grew. If he didn't draw too much attention to himself, he would also have the element of surprise on his side, and his victory would be swift and grand.

But for now he would focus on his training. Here he would learn swiftly and soak up all info like a sponge. For the time being he would tolerate the humans and see what he could learn from them and later use it to destroy them. Walking in his traditional Namekian garb, he headed for the main building of the training facility. He would need a trainer to teach him the basics. He looked around and saw many people practicing their various techniques, and even saw a few people flying! that was quite amazing to Hurkon, as he had seen very few people fly before, all of them great fighters. His old hero and idol, King piccolo was also capable of flight, and Hurkon decided he should try to learn to fly as well. He moved out the back door and head outside, it made more sense to him as the roof would prevent much flying inside. He assumed right as an instructor was teaching a group of four humans, and a bear. Hurkon stood in behind the group and listened in to the instructor as to what it was they were suppose to do to fly.

"Alright students, the first technique that is learn able here at the West City academy is that of flight. This technique is rather simple in usage, however learning it the first time can be a little complicated. Basically what your going to want to do, is focus your ki, your energy throughout your whole body. Once it is spread evenly, Force it out of your feet, and this will enable flight. You must be careful to spread it out extremely evenly, as if you dont, when you dispose of the energy it will come out wrong and you could fly elsewhere and be propelled at a crazy angle. This also isn't terrible because being propelled from your back at a forward direction would enable a quick dash or burst of speed. But we'll work on that later. For now, just fly." When the human teacher had finally finish talking, Hurkon looked around and saw the bear focusing his ki, his face told the story. The humans looked a bit perplexed, and one looked like he didn't even believe this to be possible. However Hurkon knew it was possible, and soon he would master the technique. The bear was sweating now, and his tension seemed to be rewarding soon, as he was close to the even distribution of ki. He then tried to release it and the energy came out of his chest, throwing him backwards.

Hurkon then began his attempt, and stood perfectly still. He would need absolute quiet, and the students training around him wouldn't help. He then focused on his ki, and focusing it through all aspects of his body, his shoulders down to forearms, and even out to the finger tips. The waist down, to the knees and calves, and then down to even his toes. He was sure that now his ki was evenly spread, and begun to release it, through his feet. He let it out fast and shot up into the air. The trainer quickly shouted out before he fell, "Now, hurry and release your ki from your feet to stop yourself from falling." Hurkon heard the advice and slowly released ki to lower himself slow from his decent. He then evened out the release and halted himself in the air, about fifteen feet up. The students were astonished and Hurkon himself was even a little surprised, but he would never let it show. With a clam face he asked the instructor what was next. "Now your going to want to move around. It's easiest to think of it was a stream of energy flowing up from the earth, and whenever you move, say lean forward, you should focus ki to the area over the earth, in that case your chest. Then put more ki out of your feet to move forward." Hurkon then looked up from the instructor and attempted to go forward as he explained. By shifting the focus of his ki, he could indeed fly!

Hurkon landed after moving around in the air a little bit, the bear had just gotten off the ground. The humans began to believe in themselves and try to focus their ki throughout their whole body. Hurkon chuckled as the technique was now completed by his standards. He had done all he could for learning. Flight was mastered and now he would move onto the next technique. He headed back inside as the first human learned to fly, leaving the ground in the same rocket off fashion as Hurkon had just a few moments earlier. Once inside he noticed an older man in the corner and asked him what he was doing. The man said he was reading. This seemed very odd to Hurkon, as their was nothing readable insight. The man seemed to notice this peculiar look on he face and smiled. "Ah my young one, you must learn the ways of ki reading. This is an essential technique of all warriors, as knowing your opponent is half the battle. Ki sense is an extraordinary technique that will allow you to locate and read the power levels off enemies and friends, near and far. This technique also doubles as a way to control your own ki so that you can hide from others who can read ki. Ready to learn?" Hurkon nodded and the man continued to speak, "Good. Now start by focusing your ki to your stomach and stock piling it firm and tight." Hurkon nodded and did the opposite of flying, and focused all his ki to his stomach. "Good, now expand it throughout the room and spread it all out, as far as you can." Hurkon then sighed with relief as the pent up energy dispersed and spread out. He could then sense the ki of everyone in the area of the ki he expended. "See, the area is sense able by you. As you grow stronger, you'll get more ki. This will result in an area of bigger sensation." Hurkon nodded, as he mastered the technique.

The old man then stood and nodded, and turned to leave. "You know, you shouldnt have all that anger pent up, you just might do something you'll regret some day..." Hurkon didn't break his stare as he responded with words of venom, "Listen human, your days are all numbered, my anger is completely justified, and i will use it as i see fit. Now you, be gone. I am done with you." The man shook his head and headed through a pair of double doors, leaving Hurkon alone. He decided he would head outside to see what else there was to learn here in west city, before he decided to leave. Once outside, he used ki control to put out a sensation to feel everyone's ki. He located the man with the highest ki, many levels over his own, and went to him. He would be the one to teach him next. "Ah, welcome Namekian, your just in time for my next lesson, the After image. This technique utilizes speed, and your mastery of dodging. Essentially your dodge an attack, but you do it so fast, an image of you is left where you once stood. It is quite useful as you will gain the upper had for a few seconds and confuse your enemy."

Hurkon nodded, a simple technique, shouldnt be anything too hard. The teacher would then begin to demonstrate, as he instructed a student to shoot a ki blast at him. The moment before the attack struck, Hurkon noticed it flicked slightly, something he doubted the other student would notice. He however couldn't see the teacher move behind the student, while his image seemed to be destroyed by the blast. The student looked shocked at what he was done, but was even more shocked that the teachers image disappeared. He heard a man clear his throat behind him and turned to see his teacher there, alive and well. Hurkon smirked, it was an excellent trick, and one he would need to learn. Well if learning was required, he had already learned it by observation. Move fast and the image stays. He then tried it himself and moved away from the group, looking back he just caught his past image disappearing. He then looked around, curious as to learn the ki blast that the other student had performed. He then noticed a shooting range style set up and headed over. If there was to be ki lessons, it'd be there.

He entered the booth and heard over a loud speaker his instructions. "Start by focusing ki to your whole arm, make it full and powerful. Next, force the ki from your shoulder down, an notice it build up in your hand and wrist area. Next, push from your wrist to your hand completely and force the ki out, expelling it all at once. The resulting is the ki blast. This is the basics, and all techniques are based off this principle. Take it to heart." Hurkon nodded and did as he was instructed, focusing the ki to his right arm, while he raised it and aimed for the target down course. He then began the ki press and forced it all to his hand. From there he did the final expulsion of ki and the blast shot out from his palm, lighting the dummy up. He smiled and determined he had learned all he could from West city, and headed for the exit. He would take off in flight, and head back home to Break Valley, to learn from the elders of his grand race.

Yawning the young Saiyan casually stoled across the grounds of the academy, his gaze passing around the area before falling upon an odd looking male with a sword. Curious about them, he walked over towards them and yelled out the first greeting that came to his mind. "Yo." He called simply, raising a hand and making a waving gesture with his left hand in the direction of Rage, while slipping his other hand into his belt. His gaze slowly sweeping across the area as he rose an eyebrow slightly. This place wasn't all too spectacular, he wanted to get going and make some good training time. Perhaps a spar or two? He didn't really know just yet. For the most part he was curious how the male went about using that sword of his, he normally saw everyone throwing punched and running about with ki blasts flaring everywhere. Then again, he pretty much did the same thing, didn't he? Grinning at his own paradoxical views of things, he casually continued to walk over towards the Samurai like figure, wondering exactly what they were doing here. He didn't have enough skill just yet to understand power levels and other such views, perhaps he needed one of those eye.. things? Shrugging, Xerxes stopped walking a few feet away from the male as he lowered his arms to both be slipped into his belt, spreading the tan coat he wore outwards. Right now his long black hair clung tightly to his back, held down by the coat he wore which covered the majority of his mouth and a part of his nose.

Wave
Bubbles touched down in the grass of the academy where he had felt his old mentor Doreiku, Doreiku turned as he sensed Bubbles' power, he smiled and walked over to his old student. "Well Bubbles, it has been a long time, what brings you here?"
"Hey Doreiku, it has, and I need you to look after, and train, my daughter while I go attend to some business of my own." Bubbles said.
"Your daughter? But, you are so young, how could you have a daughter?"
"Satan City was destroyed, I felt lonely due to Coraata dieing, I needed someone."
"What! Coraata died! And Satan City was destroyed! How!"
"Coraata died when fighting a alien worm, I am sure you saw the news report about it, Satan City was blown up by a robot Changeling." Doreiku shook his head after hearing the horrible news, "Okay, I will train your daughter, where is she?" Doreiku said as Bubbles bent down and the young Majin hopped off of his back, she rubbed her eyes and looked at Doreiku, her father had told her of him, this was who she would train with while her father did something important. Bubbles flew away once again.

Wave
Doreiku walked over to the small Majin, he really could not believe that she was Bubbles' daughter, he could not believe Coraata died either, but why would Bubbles lie to him. Doreiku looked into the young Majin's eyes and she stared back, they were very tired but they had not even begun yet. "So, what do you want to learn?" Doreiku asked, the girl just shrugged. "Um, how about flight? Does that sound good?" Doreiku asked, she nodded yes. "I guess you don't talk much. Oh well. So to begin, do you know how to focus your Ki?" He said, she nodded still looking tired. "Okay well to do this is simple, all you have to do is focus your Ki, make it form around your body and let it lift you up, to go into different directions, you must move the Ki along with your body, the faster you go, the more you want to focus on the energy so you don't fall. If you complete all of this than you have mastered the flight technique, this will allow you to fly virtually anywhere, especially a Majin, because your kind do not have to breathe to stay alive, you can move swiftly under water and if the need arises, than you can even survive by flying in space." Majin Wave nodded and sat on the ground and crossed her legs in a meditation position and started to think, she formed her Ki around her, she sat there and it took her a while because she did not have full control over it yet. She closed her eyes to increase her focus but then she fell asleep. Doreiku did not notice this at first but did as soon as she fell from her position and laid on the ground. He decided not to wake her and allowed her to sleep. This would make her ready for when they had to go into training other techniques.

When she woke up, it was a couple of hours later and she rubbed her eyes, when she got up she turned to see Doreiku sitting there polishing his sword, when he saw her awake he placed the sword on the towel that was next to him on the ground. He picked himself up and walked over to here and smiled, "ready to try again?" He laughed and she smiled and nodded. He helped her up and she got into a power up position and an aura flashed around her, she floated up and stood in the same position she look at the ground which was further away but not that far. Doreiku looked at her and thought, 'how did she do it so fast' he thought and looked at her. What she did was when she was asleep she was in a state of thinking which allowed for her to focus on what would happen if she tried different things, when she came up with how to do it in a successful manner she left her dream and came back to reality, and to her expectations she was correct and it worked, this was her own way of training which seemed to work exceptionally well. "Okay how about we work on the energy shield next?" Doreiku asked and Wave nodded. "Okay to do this is easy, it is kind of like the flying technique, you have to focus your energy around you, but you have to solidify it. You must make a shield out of this and when you do it you must match the energy of your enemies attack, this will block it, you must keep matching the energy that they are sending out or your shield will be shattered leaving little room for you to make your next move." Wave nodded and put her arms up, her energy formed around her and it swirled into a shield in front of her, it spread into a sphere. "Okay I am going to send an attack at you and you have to block it, I will send multiple, and you have to block them all with your shield." She nodded and Doreiku threw an energy ball at Doreiku, the shield blocked the attack, he sent more and more, she increased the power of her shield each time to block the attacks. This proved to be effective, she finally got the hang of making the shield stronger and lowering its power so she could save her energy instead of wasting it. She smiled as Doreiku congratulated her, "good job Wave, you mastered another technique, do you want to learn more?" She shook her head but this time it was a no. She seemed happy with what she knew. "D-Doreiku, I am fine with what you have taught me, I am fine with these techniques, I speculate they are all I need. With the short time on this planet I have had, I learned of special items, I think I should get some of them." She said.
"Oh well, you finally decided to speak," he laughed, "well, I am pretty sure you need to learn how to attack, so lets learn that and then you can move on to working for money to purchase items."
"What exactly would the attack be? Will it take me long? I want to hurry and get back to my dad, not that it is not fun here, but I want to make sure that he is okay." She replied.
"It will not take long, what you know already will help you with it, it is a simple Ki Ball, it is very basic and we can work on making money afterwards, it will be easy don't worry. Just put your hand out and focus your energy into the palm of your hand, when this is done, force it into a sphere. Ones you have the sphere in your hand just throw it at your enemy. Like I said, really simple." Doreiku explained and Wave held her hand out. She formed an aura around her, this aura swirled into the palm of her hand and she compacted it into a ball. She then threw the ball into the sky, it was a success and really easy. She then looked to Doreiku, "what should we do next?"
