 ((Yeah...it would have. It's weird that there isn't exactly a night. I mean, I have some plans for Amelia to more pretend it's night, but its unlikely for her to get caught wandering.))
Amelia was secretively a sweet tooth. She missed her daily supply of candy. Her mother had never limited her intake, as it was rare for her to actually reach a sugar high. Still, the Shrieking Shack, from her enthusiasm, seemed the be the best. "Come on, you can't leave me hanging like that! Go on! What's the Shrieking Shack like?" Amelia had a love of horror movies and anything scary. She could imagine the wizard's version of things would be much more exciting.

 ⒩⒜⒯⒣⒜⒩⒤⒠⒧ ⒲⒜⒭⒟ - ２ｎｄ ｙｅａｒ Nathaniel was busy counting the number of sickles he'd need to buy every single piece of sweets he wanted. Although he followed the conversation closely, he kept wandering in his mind. At mention of the Shrieking Shack, withdrew himself. Wasn't a fan of scary stuff like that. "Yeah, Olli, go on." he mumbled half-heartedly.

Olli Hufflepuff ; Fifth YearOlli leaned in closer and began to whisper, "At night you can hear the howls of lost souls, crying to escape the abyss they now live in. They scratch and claw at the windows and doors, they make the floorboards creak as they wander the cold house. The sound is piercing, and if you get too close, they will stare at you and make the sound louder and closer until you can't take it anymore. Their eyes are like black holes; they pull you in until you have your face pressed against the glass and you're staring right at them. Then you feel a cold chill run through your entire body, the same feelig you get when dementors are around. Some say if you go in you never come back out," she whispered darkly, to finish her description. She pulled away and nodded grimly, before adding, "I would like to go in there someday. See what it's really like inside."

Mentally Amelia smiled. She now liked Nathaniel. Even though he seemed to not be nearly as excited as she was, he'd put up the effort, just to let Olli ramble happily. It made her think better of him. Though it made her wonder how much he'd enjoy getting into trouble. A lot of people didn't like the suspense of the things, and adventures like that were suspenseful. Admittedly, it was half the reason she did them.
The young girl shuddered at the description. Sure, it sounded terrifying to her, but it just made her want to see it more. Even if she had no idea what a dementor was. The way Olli had said it just brought the tightening fear into her heart. "Are you worried?" Amelia wanted to go in to; at least if Olli went with her. Getting into small trouble was one thing. But the young girl wasn't sorted into Gryffindor for a reason. She got scared easily. None the less she pouted at Lily's laugh. Poking her arm she reminded her, "All stories have a seed of truth." Something had to make people start the rumor. And she was willing to figure it out--with Olli at her side. There was no way it was just an old house. For it had to be a wizard's old house. Who knew what residuals of magic did to the home?
Turning to the new voice, her eyes widened and a grin appeared on her face, "Neomi!" She was excited to talk to her, as they did share the same dormitory. She kept her voice to a whisper, not wanting to disturb the teacher when she answered...she was pretty sure her name was Lena's question. Still, her fellow first year needed an answer, "I'm sure it's completely safe on the outside. And I promise to tell you how safe it is after we go in." There was no if they went in. She was sure in her seven years here she'd go in somehow.

OlliHufflepuff ; Fifth YearOlli smirked at the reaction her description had conjured in Ammy. "No, of course I'm not worried. We should definitely go in there some time," she said, nodding gravely. She then turned on Lily. 'Why'd you have to ruin such a good story?" she asked, her whisper hidden behind the palm of her hand. "Anyway," she added, turning back to Ammy, "You have a point. There is something seriously scary about the shrieking shack, and I'm going to find out what it is," she said with a grin.

Putting her hands on her hips, Amelia defended herself, "I wasn't scared!" in a haughty voice that promised sincerity. "See Lily? You know there's something creepy there too--otherwise you wouldn't want to go." Turning back to Olli she corrected her, emphasizing, "We're going to find out what it is," Though she returned her grin easily.

((Hey guys. Message from Eter: she's busy preparing auditions but will try to log on. She said she'd finally give in to Sparrow and add lessons of Quidditch. The Salem Trials will be used as finals)) ⒩⒜⒯⒣⒜⒩⒤⒠⒧ ⒲⒜⒭⒟ - ２ｎｄ ｙｅａｒ "Isn't this exciting ? Now we're all going to be our own Ghostbusters troops and head to the Shrieking Shack." Oh. Nathaniel realised that only muggle borns knew who the Ghostbusters were. Although he couldn't imagine the group travelling and sneaking around in vacuum-like machines, he wasn't enjoying the idea as much. Creepiness... *shudders* Already nervous from Olli's story, he couldn't say out loud how scared he was. Pride. He admired the girls; being able to talk so openly. For once; he wasn't on top. "When do you think we should head there ?"
