 Show Me How To Lie....
Pleased that she hadn't made a run for it, he reached to pull open the door. He cocked a brow at her question, an odd expression crossing his features as he motioned for her to move first. Reaching back to pluck his key ring from it's place on the hook beneath where his coat usually hung, he dropped them into his pocket. "You were mumbling. Something along the lines of about being 'in la-something'." a smirk appeared at his lips, and he pulled the door closed behind him and locked it. "So unless you were talking about how madly in love you are with me, which for some reason I doubt, I'm guessing the word was 'labour'." he finished, adjusting the strap over his shoulder. "Now, let's go see Doctor Hex. Unless you want me to carry you?" he asked, a sweet tone slipping into his voice despite the fact that he was manipulating her.

Sky gave a glare at Adney for making her to stuff, even though it was for her own good that she did. "Yes. I did say that I was in love with you. Did you hear me when I was speaking French." Sky seemed to be using her French more and more. It was the only way she could curse out anyone who pissed her off without them knowing and if they did speak French- well that was a different story. They didn't teach the stuff that she knew in language classes. "Don't carry me. The doctor said that labor went more smoothly if I could walk around a bit. By the time we get there Blair will come out." She commented to her fiancee before stopping a few feet behind him. She took a moment to rub her belly. It wasn't going to be this round for very much longer. "I can't believe you're coming." She commented partly to her belly and partly to Adney.

Flashing a grin at her comments, he gave a small shrug. He'd picked up on a little French here and there, but he was still better at Spanish. Not, of course, that he was anything better than adequate in any languages but English and ASL. Her next statement, however, caused a triumphant expression to appear. "Aha! So you are in labour." he knew he was right, and now he wasn't about to let her off without him. She would be stuck with him for however long it took for that kid to come out, and he wouldn't be leaving her alone until he knew they were both well. Looking over in slight confusion at the comment about coming, he cocked a brow once more. He couldn't say whether she was talking to him or the baby, but he smirked none the less. They were both coming, obviously; he was the father ready to greet his legacy, and Blair certainly wasn't going to stay inside his mother forever.

Sky's touching moment came to an end when Adney opened his mouth. Wasn't the best thing for him to say. "Yes I'm in labor stupid." She commented as she waddled passed him trying to get to the doctors office while he just stood around. "You better be ready. Blair is not going to wait any longer." The woman added. She was excited to welcome her son into the world.

Smirking in response to her snappy response, he didn't comment. If she was in labour, he figured he might as well let her have a free card. Just this once. Continuing down the hall, he pushed open the door to the stairwell and motioned her through like a doorman at a fancy hotel; which, coincidentally, he had been for about a month years ago. "After you, my dear." her comment made his smirk widen, and he seemed to have no problem with what she was threatening. "I am more ready than you can imagine..." he spoke quietly, moving to follow her down the stairs. While outwardly he seemed calm, he was currently going through all of the possible things that could go wrong; such things had been the topic of many a talk with Pyry while Mizuki was pregnant, so he didn't need to reach far for the horrible possibilities.

Show Me How To Lie....
Letting out a yawn, Adney continued to rock the restless child in his arms. His darling son, Blair, was nearly a year old now but that didn't seem to stop him from waking up his dear parents at all hours of the night. He was a little terror, crawling about all over the place. There was a mess of red hair growing out the top of his head, and he had the same gold tint to his eyes as his father. It was heading towards nine in the morning on a Saturday, which meant that the redheaded father didn't have any work that day. Still, he was used to rising early and had rolled out of bed at the irritated sounds of his son. Settling himself and his young one on the couch, he flipped on the television on low volume so as not to disturb the misses.

Sky slept in an extra hour since she got a rare chance to do so. At least Adney was there to take care of their son. A boy who she several times thought about throwing out the window as a young and frustrated mother. The woman got out of bed with a yawn and headed for the kitchen to get some water and breakfast. As she did so she walked past her fiancee to get to the food. "How is the brat?" She asked the man about their son. This was going to be her only child. No way she was going to put up with this again. How Mizuki did it was beyond her, let alone twice. She pulled a muffin out and cut it in half. She didn't eat the whole thing because it was too much for her and she was already having issues taking are of all the baby weight she gained. She spent most of he time inside in fear that she would turn around and find her son out of his stroller and hightailing it for some place that he could get hurt.

Show Me How To Lie....
Looking up as Sky entered the living room, the man flashed her a smile. He was clad in only a pair of plaid flannel pajama pants. He didn't make a habit of sleeping fully clothed, and feeling a bit lazy that morning, he hadn't bothered putting on anything else. "Wide awake. Look, Blair, mommy is finally awake." he hoisted the boy up enough for him to see his mother, causing the young one to let out a noise of surprised pleasure. Standing up, he heads towards the kitchen with the little boy perched upon one arm. "Good morning, sleepy one." he teased, scooping up the other half of the muffin for himself. "What's on the agenda today?" he questioned, taking a large bite of muffin.

Sky turned to the two men that shared the apartment with her. She smiled at her son as he seemed to be happy to see her. When they walked over Sky gave a peck to her lover. "Let's see. Shopping, dealing with the brat, and cleaning." She answered her fiancee. There was more things that needed to be done that they both had put off for a long time, but they were putting off more. "Can you think of anything we need."

Show Me How To Lie....
Flashing her a smile t the peck on his cheek, he continued to nibble away at his muffin. Blair was bouncing up and down on his arm, a little impatient for whatever it was the little man wanted. "I think we're running low on juice." he answered, moving to the fridge to pull out a sippy cup half filled with apple juice. Offering it to his son, he kept his free hand on the end to tip it up and into the little one's mouth. Seemingly satisfied, he calmed and drank his juice. He wasn't exactly looking forward to shopping or cleaning, but he would suck it up. It wasn't very often that the two of them had the same day off, so he would keep himself from complaining too much for a day.

"Which reminds me to remind you that this is the only one we're having. You better take care of him." The woman commented pointing to her son. Adney didn't get in nearly as much trouble as Blair did. She then turned and put juice on her list of things to buy. "We could dump him off with Cam." She commented. It was one way to spend some alone time together and to drive her future brother-in-law nuts taking care of his nephew. It would also allow them to clean and not have to turn around and clean the again.

Chuckling quietly at Sky's remark, he didn't otherwise respond. He knew that the woman wasn't such a fan of kids, though he knew that beneath her tough exterior she loved their son as he did. Setting the now empty sippie cup in the sink, he set the small boy in the padded play pen set up in the living room with various soft toys that he couldn't get in too much trouble with. "Excellent idea. I'm sure he'll be willing." not that it ever really mattered to Sky, knowing the strained relationship between his brother and his fiancée. "I am going to take a quick shower." he announced, shoving the last bit of muffin in his mouth. It would give her a moment to double check their preparations for the day, and the teacher had a serious case of bedhead that needed to be corrected.

Sky watch where Adeny put the little boy. She didn't want him anywhere that he could get in trouble. If this is what he was like before he was a year old then what were the terrible two's like. The woman nodded at her husband. She could take care of the boy for a few minutes. Once Adney was gone she took time to look over her list of stuff they need to get. Diaper, juice, and that was the tip of their iceberg. The woman wrote down a few more things and she finished her muffin off.

Show Me How To Lie....
Appearing some fifteen minutes later, he was now fully dressed in a pair of jeans and a grey collared shirt, left open over a t-shirt depicting a comic book character from a comic he hadn't actually read in years. His hair was damp and sticking out in several places, but he didn't seem to notice. Peeking into the little pen to check on his son, who was trying quite hard to gnaw on the ear of a stuffed purple hippo half his size, he cracked a small smile. That boy was going to grow up to be a tiny terror, and of course his father would receive all the blame. Ah well, nothing to worry about now. He turned his eyes on Sky, raising a brow curiously. "Are we all set?"
