Li Na was on her way back to the pride with another prize. She had killed a wild boar, a plump one too. It was frustrating for her to get her because when she chased down the boar its back hooves hit her right in the jaw, angering the lioness. The penalty from that was death, but the boar was dead from the time when Li Na layed its eyes on it, licking her teeth imagining the taste of blood. She took her kill by the oasis and set it by its waters.
She looked around for a moment seeing if the area was clear, normally in the pride you have to share your food with the others mostly, but she wasn't the one to share on an empty stomach so she ate to her hearts content. As she ate she looked beyond the distance and notice that little cub running around with someone. "This will get her off my back for awhile....Im no mother don't see why would she follow me." she thought to herself before eating more, but she left some of the good parts alone just in case the little one wanted to eat up. She didn't know why she was doing this but she did it anyway.

She did not want anyone especially Ilice to ruin her meal. She continued to chew into the meat and ignore her until she had her fill. "I don't care. Im just leaving table scraps for whoever comes by, so let her or the vultures have the meat." She walked away from the carcass to the waters washing the blood off her paws and muzzle

"Try not to think about that..." He nuzzled her cheek affectionately and licked her muzzle. "We just have to take care of them as they come..." Karver leaned against his mate and took in her scent loving it. "Sooo..." He gave a mischevious grin. "When are we gonna see lil' Hopes and Karvers runnin' around?" A deep chuckle rumbled through his throat as he looked over at Hope lovingly.

Hope purred, and licked his cheek lovingly, before nizzeling under his chin.
She chuckled a bit, "You think you could handle being a father?" She asked in return, teasingly. She had no dubt that Karver would be a wonderful, and fun father.

Katima sat quietly as the two adults talk, growing more and more bored. Finally deciding to do something about it, she jumped up against Karver's mane and tugged on his ear playfully, tail lashing in good humor.

A low growl emmited from her throat but she continued on to cleaning herself "You really know how to rub me the wrong way donn't you Ilice? Why dont you go and drop dead for me ok?" she snapped at her.

"Well..of course my dear Ho--OW!" Karver gave a slight growl and looked up at Katima. "Well, my dear Katima..you seem to have found a playmate." The lion chuckled and waved his feathered tail. "Do I taste good?" Karver joked then looked over at Hope. "She really is a playful one. Reminds me...of..well..me!" He gave one of his lop-sided grins to her.

Asiam moved through the Oasis's foliage, golden eyes on the lookout for any lions. He had crossed a scent border a little bit ago but had decided to go on. Here was to hoping that the King of the Pride wasn't going to hurt him for not announcing himself. The cubs roar was sadly...underdeveloped.

Siyari bounded playfully behind Asiam, swinging at his tail feathers and nipping at his paws. "Asiam, what are we doing?" She asked as she batted at his ear flecks.

Adrastos sighed as he pawed at the ground, half heartedly. His ears flickered when he thought of how long he had been with the pride, he made his way over to a usual tree where he sharpened his itty bitty claws but now they were bigger, and he stretched farther than usual. He was getting bigger, he growled and he realized it was still pathetic. He huffed as he knew he would have to wait longer for that.
(growth spurt...XD)

Knarnia was passing by the spot she had known as claimed by Li Na to rest, looking for her improvised sister from her cubhood. She was hungry, and there was always some food for her left from the hunt there. Her usual cheeryness faded as she suddenly heard Li Na talking. Strange... Why's she doing that? There's no one around! Knarnia thought, watching the other lioness from behind some bushes, crouching stealthily. Not understanding what was going on, she grew more and more frightened with Li Na's behaviour, until the lioness snapped. Did she just say for her to drop dead? Li Na didn't like having her around?? With tears pouring down her green eyes, Knarnia turned away, running as fast as she could. Pretty fast, actually...
