Mei chuckled darkly, "You guys thinks too shallow, thinking inside the box. Hideki is much worse, he controls illusions. Back then, he wasn't really mastering fire elements. He could make a room feel like it's boiling. He's terribly tricky. I'm almost certain he's illusioned Kira in her own mental state. I have a feeling he trapped her inside her worst nightmare. He's quite skilled at that. It's terrible, enduring that. She won't last long.."

Mei shrugged, "That could work...I wonder if we know anyone who is a mental shield. We could shield our thoughts in case he has a mind reader in the dimension."
