Cain the Cyclops
BANG!...




Cain felt Alewar pull back before the head could take out half of his body and Alewar. The dragon lands next to Liliana as she sees Cain covered in gunpowder and sweat. He holds his blade in cloth form and kneels down.

"I'm out of bullets, only got shells left. Whats the plan now?"

"I'll keep moving. Never stopping until I'm the greatest there is..."

After attacking, Drew noticed begin to move. This was bad. He wasn't sure if he could get out of there before the Hydra crushed him. Without thinking anything more, Drew began to run to the closest exit, the Hydra slowly crashing with the ground behind him as it rolled. He winced a bit with each step, for his legs and arms ached with pain. After a few more seconds, Drew saw the land before him coming to an end, and the ocean was beyond that. With no where else to go, Drew jumped off the edge of the cliff, falling down below into the water with a splash. All he could do now was float in the water, pained, waiting.

The head on watch, basically the one that had done nothing since missing Cain, spotted Andrew running, more like limping due to his surely broken bones, from underneath his belly and immediately put two and two together. The fresh wound still stinging in the salt water, the closest head struck out at the trickster before he could get out of reach, incidentally dodging Yoh's bullet as it did so. There was a chance it could catch Andrew despite involuntarily slowing down to compensate for the pain in its body because of just how close to the hydra the trainee had been and just how injured he was. Sure, one of the dead heads was technically between it and the boy but the head was lying on the ground, away from the live heads chosen path, and the boy was running away from it seeing how he was running away from the hydra in general.

As for the other two heads, one of them tried to lunge out at Lilliana, Alewar, and Cain but the pain in his wounds slowed it down and the trio had escaped its reach before it had gotten close. Quickly, it retreated back, wary of a spell from the dark-skinned human or bullets from the shirtless humanoid. Perhaps if it had lunged forward with its body as well, it could have reached the pair, but the pain from the wounds prevented the hydra from wanting to take such an action unless absolutely necessary. While having missed Cain and Lilliana, the head's sudden stretch forwards allowed it to dodge the bullet without even knowing.

The last head, meanwhile, had become the new guard and reared its head high to keep a look-out. Grimacing in pain just like its comrades, it began searching for the missing one, the other one that held a gun. It knew the general location after having shot Yoh with a water cannon only a moment ago. Seeing the scope of the sniper rifle glint in the light as Yoh took aim, the hydra immediately shot out a burst of water in the direction of the flash. There was nothing else in the area that could of such a glint on dry land. Coming directly at the bullet, the water blast slowed the bullet down quite a bit but couldn't stop it completely. The bullet reached its target, but rather than tearing through the hydra and killing it, it simply caused it quite a bit of pain. No, that's an understatement, it caused it an immense amount of pain that had the head let out a thundering roar. This one was probably going to be unable to let out the destructive blasts of water without causing itself much pain.

After all three heads had struck simultaneously, the body rolled back into its normal position. All three heads winced slightly at the pain that moving the muscles brought but kept their focus on the fight. However, the bodily pain was now close to nothing compared to the pain in one of the heads and as soon as the injured head had let out the roar, the head that had been keeping an eye on Cain and Lilliana whipped around and let loose a life-threatening blast of water at the now-exposed Yoh. The first attack in his direction had easily knocked down whatever he had barricaded himself behind even if it hadn't done all that much damage to him directly, leaving the gunslinger open to attack.

The head that had gone after Drew would now have come back to keep an eye on the surroundings if it had missed the trickster. If not, then its next actions, all of which took place while Yoh had a second attack targeted at him, would depend on what Andrew did.

Cain stood on Alewar next to Lili, still holding his cloth blade in his hand. He trusted her and her abilities, but Cain was ready to strike in order to protect her. But for now, he waited.
