When her tent was set up, Spirit told Alex she was feeling tired and went inside. She zipped up the tent and lay in her sleeping bag, staring at the ceiling. (What am I feeling for Alex?) She thought, thinking of the wedding and of leaving him behind. her heart twisted again.

Alex started to make a campfire and then started a fire. He started cooking some meat.

Spirit turned to lay on her stomach, a silent tear rolling down her cheek. Her heart beat quickly and she kept thinking about Alex. (Love...) The word whispered through her head and she sat up, surprised.

Alex walked up to Spirit's tent. "Princess? Do you want anything to eat?" he asked, from the other side of the tent.

Spirit came back from her thinking, and called back, "N-no thanks Alex, I'm not hungry." She said, then frowned, (I-I love Alex?) She thought on it, realizing she did. her heart twisted again when she realized she couldn't be with him and a single tear ran down her cheek.

"Alright if you say so..." Alex said, feeling that Spirit was not in a really good mood. He sat back down and started eating.

Spirit curled up in her sleeping bag again. (What am I going to do? I'm getting married in the morning and I just found out I"m in love with my best friend!) She thought, letting loose a couple more tears.

After he was done eating, he took the time to meditate. He set his armor and sword next to him as he got into a comfortable position. He then cleared his mind and started to meditate.

Spirit soon feel asleep, dreaming about Alex.

After a few hours, Alex got tired and decided to head to bed. He went inside his tent and slowly fell asleep.

Spirit reawoke around sunrise and got out of her tent. The sun was still littered with stars, the sun having not yet come up. (Today's the day.) She thought, moving some white hair from her eyes and looking at Alex's tent. She didn't want to leave him, or her kingdom. She sighed, going to get Elon. She packed her stuff up and put it on Elon, who stood, ready to leave. When she was all packed, Spirit wrote a note to Alex, telling him he didn't have to accompany her the rest of the way. She told him her feelings, then wished him a good life. The girl rolled it up and placed it on Alex's stuff so he could see it before getting on Elon and flicking the reins. Elon took off down the road, carrying her the last mile to the city.

Alex woke up a few hours later. The first thing he saw was the note. "Hello...what's this?" he asked to himself, figuring it out it was from Spirit. He quickly got out of his tent and saw that her tent and Elon was gone. "She left!" he said out loud. He then turned his attention back to the note and started reading it. He quickly started blushing and got his armor and sword on him. He quickly packed everything and got onto Glory. He made her run down. "I hope i'm not to late..." he said quietly to himself. As he was riding down, he started having flash backs of when he was a child. He then had a reason to love Spirit.

Spirit sat in her room at the palace, in a white wedding dress. She looked down at her hands. It was just a few minutes before the wedding, everything having been set up as she and Alex had been traveling. The door opened, "Princess Spirit." The young maid stuck her head in, "It's time." She said, coming over to her and helping fixed her dress and making sure her hair was alright before handing Spirit a banquet of roses. Spirit took a deep breath and followed the girl out of the room, then stopped outside the doors to the church. When the song 'Here comes the Bride' played she walked down the aisle.

Alex finally made it to the city. He looked around for a church. Moments later, he found one. He quickly got off of Glory and ran up to the door, but it was locked. He looked through the window, and saw Spirit.

Spirit had made it up to the ore, stopping next to the prince she was to marry. She handed her roses to the woman next to her before she gave her husband a small smile. he smiled back at her, then they turned to the preacher.
