 'But I'm--' Sparrow stopped herself, frowning. Why was she disagreeing with her master? That alone wasn't natural. Now even more mixed up, the blonde turned her attention to planting her own stake in the ground and then hugging her arms around her knees.

*He set the rabbit down atop the worm chunk of his own that was still roasting, and he knelt down beside her and placed a hand on her shoulder*

'No.' She dismissed quickly, frowning, as the breeze caught her hair, pushing the drifting smoke from the fire further down wind. 'I was made to serve.'

Sparrow met his gaze before letting her eyes flicker back over the ground. What could she say? If that was her master's wish, she should follow it. In spite of how unnatural it felt. 'Okay, Master.'

*He gave her a one-armed hug, then rushed back to his smoking meal-on-a-stick. Jerking it back out of the ground, he took a big bite of the rabbit and worm combination*

Sparrow accepted the hug before looking up to watch him return to his food. As he took a bite, she pulled her stake out and did similarly, ripping a small chunk of worm meat free and eating it. After swallowing her first mouthful, she said 'It's good master, thank you,' and smiled a little, in spite of how odd the response still felt to her.

It's too bad she couldn't be here for this... ... ... Though she'd probably be in tears over the rabbit. Heh...
*Koth separated the rabbit from the worm so he could taste the rabbit by itself, Taking a leg off and chomping it, offering the other up to Sparrow*

Sparrow suspected she understood who her master meant, deciding not to inquire further and accepting the rabbit instead. She gnawed bits of the meat from the bone, chewing and nodding in agreement with him,
