Yeash, he was a grumpy pants. But, if that worked for him... which it seemed to, then who was she to say anything about it? He wasn't bothering her and he was helping the team out, more so than some of the others. At least his grumpy self was participating. Really, what more could you ask for? And to add another point in his slowly growing score count, he had some good ideas. But he was still a grouch. Which he proved when he so nicely answered her question. Rolling her eyes she looked back into the basket and plucked out a choolate.
Tucking the wrapper into her pocket and taking a bit of the chocolate she looked back and forth between Crimson and Keith, waiting to see what their leader and his self appointed co-leader would decide. She popped the rest of the egg into her mouth to keep her thoughts off her face. Seeing his gaze turn her way Celeste gave him a smile, that grew as he voiced his question. She reached into her pocket and pulled out her purple cased phone. "Sure do. And thank you." He had answered her question much nicer than Keith had. She looked around at the group then back to Crimson, a little bummed at her next words, but hiding it behind a half smile. "So, we've got three people settled into groups... I say you just let the others pick. As long as atleast one other person, with a good sense of direction, comes with me, we'll be alright." She said with a shrug.

Mao must've been grumbling on about something... Kaleb was still mulling over the panther, and Gemma was heading straight to the library. Oh and the girl was rambling some nonsense. ((I'll edit this... hopefully. Too tired to stay on >.< Basic plot... The GreenMaroon team finds the basket, Kaleb keeps it and he suggests the Museum. Blaire votes for Mountain))

"Input." Gemma looked all of them, save Mao, critically. Time was of the essence! The Goth spewed some more nonsense, which she quickly mentally discarded as useless. She was a good cash cow, though. That could be useful... but, not right now, unfortunately. Hearing Kaleb and Camellia's suggestions, she nodded in approval. Both answers made sense. But, something about those two words... Intuition really needed to kick into high gear here! She looked back at all of them looking back at her, before letting out a calming breath.
"I say, Mountain." Gemma nodded to Camellia, "This whole many wrongs thing seems too... Hansel and Grettel?" Yeah, random. "Forget it. In any case, I think we should go to the Mountain." she spoke with a strange mix of conviction and nervousness, but who wouldn't be nervous? These were all adults she knew nothing about, not young people she had worked with every day!
"Are we in agreement?" Gemma asked, looking about the faces. Including Mao, this time. "Good, heading out!" Gemma said after a beat, she sounded quite enthusiastic now. Glad that she had made a decision. They were progressing~
(My team is way behind, and I really want to give them a damn fighting chance against Crimson's team... damn all-knowing Keith... >_>)

Good, so they had ways to contact each other. What he did knew, was that he wasn't going with Blair's team, so he made the most logical (and misogynist) choice he though of. "Let's just make the three boys go together and the three girls go together." He then stopped talking as his eyes fell on Avien. Oh yeah, forgot about him and his drunken a**. Wasn't far from being one anyway. Blair's from here, she can guide you the the museum and s**t. I know where my brother's place is, so I can lead there. That's the smithy... as for the mountain well, damn. Pretty ******** obvious where it is" Really, you would need to be blind (or Celest) to not find it considering it was the only damn mountain on the island. And really, this should be alright with everyone. Sure, he ended up with the only useful person on the team, but it's not like they needed neither him nor Crimson to find a basket. Just to understand the clue and that was why they had cellphones.

Agreement? Mao didn't make a motion for or against it, but he did want to look at the 'latin' she was referring to. What with all the nonsense Mao studied, he had to learn a few dead languages to get through some texts and to perform a couple of the medical procedures.. But, Gemma wanted to be the leader, so Mao would allow it. He was just going to let her lead them to ruin or, possibly, success! If they won, but of course, it was Mao's victory, and if they lost.. Then it was Gemma who wanted to be the 'genius' and take over. He was still a bit sore for her insulting Judith like that and overall just ignoring him. Really, someone needed to get off their high horse.. He followed the group to the mountain top quietly, taking small, unhurried steps after them.

    _________________________________________________________________ Before Zachary even knew it, he was being drug away by the pretty loud petite girl... Okay, maybe he was a bit spacey today, but it was nice to not have Molly trailing him the entire time. She was on a different team, the kid's team, so she could torment someone else for a while. He didn't really say anything, but just followed as he was told. Not that he could protest much anyways. Haruka was getting drug along too, so it was alright, right? Yeah, let's go with that... ~ Clark pretty much ignored what it was the teen-aged girl had to say about their fighting. You never EVER bring up incest as a possibility... It was disturbing and made Clark think about that night when Avien was really drunk... hell, more drunk than what Keith's team was putting up with now... And he was decently drunk at the start! How could he tell? That clueless look on the man's face, it was a dead give away every time. ~ Molly actually just kind of did as she was told for once, waiting to make her move to get what she wanted. Yes, she wasn't there to make friends like her brother. She was there for the eggs, and maybe to figure out who she could push around... Junior seemed like a pretty good slave... She'd have to keep that in mind at school... She didn't feel bad at all either thinking these things as she had full intentions of using these people to get what she wanted. Right now, not being openly devious was the plot... ~ Avien was now just starting to sober up... However, that wasn't necessarily a good thing since now his mind set was back to depression and moping... Drunk Avien probably would have been a better asset to the team, and he was pretty damn useless then. His expression was no longer as goofy as he was returning to reality, and with a slight headache building from the damage he'd done with the alcohol... That and being pulled into a bush earlier wasn't exactly helping matters... _________________________________________________________________

Haruka was sure that one of them would lash out at her, but instead, she found herself getting pulled along. By Lotte! She looked over at Zach, who was also in tow, and gave him a surprised look. Well, this worked. Lotte probably saved her a**, too. "The street? Well, that makes sense." she commented with a small sigh as she let Lotte lead the way~
River was a little confused. Where were they going again? She looked at the other quizzically. That was when Keith suggested breaking up into teams... Yeah, that made sense. As long as they could contact each other, they could probably break into four teams and go EVERYWHERE! But two teams made the most sense, and even though she was disappointed to be on a different team than Keith and Crimson, both of whom seemed smart, but the girls didn't seem that bad, either. And the drunk guy was with them, too! "Aye aye, captain!" River saluted Keith solemnly.

"THERE, RIGHT THERE!" Lotte screamed when she noticed a pink basket hanging from... a phone pole. Her finger pointing to it. It was their basket! Or she hoped so.... Their team was called CrimsonOrchid and that basket seemed to be orchid-colored... then again, it could be a basket for the salmon team.... Nah, she doubted that a kid would be tall enough to grab it.... she doubted that anyone in her ragtag team was tall enough to grab it. "Alright minion! You find a way to grab the basket! I say that you.." She pointed toward Zachary..."Climb on her shoulders to grab it! Then BAM! It's ours and we're back on trackt. Cause we're not last! Oh no, Kawam!" She put both of her hands on her thighs and stumped the ground with her right foot. Big attitude in Miniature Lady!

Well, this was a fine mess they got themselves into. After 35 minutes of looking around the Mountain, Gemma was getting very irritated. But, it had to be here! Something at the back of her head nagged that it just couldn't be the Museum, but she didn't know what. Something Matthew said... but, she really couldn't remember. Her team's morale was dwindling away, as much as hers was. And she couldn't help but glare at Mao, who didn't seem helpful at all. In the mood to vent, she snapped back into standing straight from her bent over position having wanted to catch her breath. She looked up at the sky, hoping for some miracle to happen and Mao to actually be helpful, for once.
Leaving Kaleb, Holly and Camellia behind, she stomped over to where she knew where Mao was. He was probably the kind of condescending a*****e to still think he'd get any part of the prize with none of the work! "You, Mao." Gemma bit out, unable to hold back the edge in her voice. She had been searching for a clue for half an hour now, nonstop! The stress of the whole ordeal was terrible and it was really grating on her patience. She pulled the clue out of her pocket, looking quite pissed for an 5'3", 29 year old woman. "Do you have any idea what this could point to?" she asked, holding the clue out for him to take. Tensions were running high, because even Camellia was turning into a whiny b***h. Whine, whine, whine... along with Holly, too. So, here she was, swallowing her pride and asking MAO for help.

After twenty minutes of Catrina scurrying around the harbor, the little girl had tripped over the basket and onto her face. ..Well, wasn't that convenient? Yes, convenient and painful. Not that she noticed after the first few seconds of pain as she noticed the basket she was ontop of. Eggs! Birds liked eggs! Eggs would attract the birds! Ah, but, piece of paper – very important piece of paper! She couldn't leave that piece of paper to be, now could she? So, without much qualms, she darted back over to Molly and Yoakim Jr., the pair equally quiet as they watched the fireworks with the panda. She shoved the envelope into Junior's hands, since he was the closest, before setting the basket of chocolate eggs on her head and smirking at the pair. “Mjau merow mau merow miyav!” She pointed off behind her amidst the mewls to the seagulls with her freehand, the other keeping the basket in place, “Mau miyav nya, maauu.. Mjau mjau!” She directed cheerily and turned on her heel to head back over to the harbor, waving the basket about in hopes to attract the seagulls. That's right~! She had their babies captive! They couldn't ignore her now!!
Junior, who.. didn't understand a word of what Catrina had said, held the clue shakily. Molly was standing near him! Like she was hanging out with him! It made him nervous.. He swallowed and looked at the paper in hand – ah? “It's.. the next clue..” He muttered, sending a quick glance over at the girl before reading the clue outloud, a bit too quietly for anyone but him and maybe a beetle on his shirt to hear. Mary had a little lamb..? Lambs liked.. fields.. and farms.. was there a farm.. He liked the idea of going to the farm, but he kept quiet and looked to Molly for an answer instead.

Mao had been enjoying watching those idiots scavenge the mountain, doing next to nothing. Well, that wasn't true. He was kicking rocks and leaning slightly to the side every so often to look, keeping his hands held behind his back. Mm.. Nothing he saw~ It looked like there wasn't a clue! Oh, how sad~ Especially when Gemma came marching his way, looking none the happier now that she was the leader. He smiled at her in satisfaction and raised both brows, holding his hand out to lightly take the clue. He unfolded it as slow as could be, looking it over carefully. ..Latin? He snorted. “This is Greek.” He pointed out in bemusement, “Mixing Latin with Greek – I should have expected an uneducated woman like yourself to do such a childish mistake.” He stated in a drawling manner with a shake of the head. One more second of reading it and he folded it to hand back to her, “Zoo. You should know where that's at. ..No?” Not that he gave her much room to answer~ But, he was on a roll here! “There's an abandoned one around here in the forest. If you could lead us there?”

Oh, sweet, sweet patience! Gemma glared at him all the while, watching how he gleefully threw her to the dogs. Greek, who even knows that anymore? Aside from pipsqueak Konichiwa here, that is. Oh, yes, she knew the word was Japanese; not Chinese, like Mao. It would be that much more insulting if she were to call him as such. But, he was actually cooperating. And she didn't want to offend him any further than needed as to not having him actively trying to sabotage her. "If you must know, Mao," she put as much venom into her voice as she could muster when she said his name, "I'm too much of a busy body to bother learning some language that doesn't even help me in the least in my day-to-day life. So, what do you think that says about you, hmm...?" she asked with a sneer, letting him stew that over in his head.
Gemma turned to head back over and round the group, but she paused a moment and turned back to him. "Oh, and thanks for volunteering on guiding us there. You've been really helpful this time around!" she nodded, a small smile on her face as she assigned him as guide. Something he clearly seemed like he wouldn't like to do. Before he could retort, she was off to gather the others to all go together as a team to the zoo. Wherever the hell that was...
