The doctor told Victoria that it was infection. Most probably it was caused by the piece of cloth that was used as bandage the wound were not hygienic and dirty. Then the doctor asked how Alex was bitten and Victoria has to concoct a story that it was pure accident when Alex wasn't careful when feeding the panther. Alex snorted when he heard it, knowing full well that it was only to avoid more questions from the doctor.

Riku smiled, nodding to Rose. "Sweet! Okay, besides I think Nori likes this job here. See ya in the morning." He said, waving then made his way back to the cottage. When he got there, Riku had laid Nori down in her bed since she had already fell asleep. He pulled the covers over her then left the room, closing the door behind him, then turned toward's Axel's bedroom when he heard really loud yet hard barking coughs. Riku's eyes widened, as he ran into the bedroom, only to see Axel laying down in his bed on his side, coughing hard while Ian was fixing up the IV. "Ian, what happened?" He asked.

Ian stuck the IV needle into Axel's wrist, soon turning it on so he'd get some fluids into his body. "Axel has a fever..a really really bad one apparently. I don't know what caused it..he did say he was finally feeling completely better yesterday..." He squeaked, as he soaked up a towel in cold water then placed it on Axel's head so his temperature could cool.

Riku sighed. "Ian..did you forget that Axel was born with a very poor immune system in his body?" He asked, crossing his arms.

Ian smacked his head, sighing. "Yes...yes I did.." He said softly, doing a huffy breathe. "Well he's getting some herbal fluids now so he'll probably be okay by tomorrow right? If not..then we have to take him to the hospital.." Ian squeaked, as he sat on the bed besides Axel and rubbing the wet towel on head.

Riku sighed with a weak smile, patting Ian's shoulder. "Well I have good news for you; Nori joined a circus just a few blocks down from here outside the forest. I'm being the ticket master so I can sell the tickets for the circus. Our lives won't be in scraps anymore, we'll finally live outside the box." He said softly.

Ian's eyes widened with happiness, as he stood up immediately and hugged Riku. "Thats exciting! I wonder if I could get a job there at the circus too..but..who will take care of Axel?" He asked.

"We can just put him in the hospital for now, and I'll ask the circus master to tape record the show so we can show Axel." Riku said smiling. "But I wonder if it's okay with her though..."

Ian smiled. "Alright, I'm going to bed Riku-nii. Night!" He said, as he walked out of the room and into his, collapsing onto his bed, asleep.

Riku waved towards Ian. "Okay, night.." He squeaked, as he pulled out a sleeping bag from Axel's closet and slept in it, just to make sure Axel was okay during the night while he slept.

The guy was tall, towering over him. It felt intimidating. The boy wasn't going to let himself easily frightened and back down. Instead he looked the guy straight in the eyes. "That is my spot and I have been doing my observation on the eggs three days ago. I will not let you scare the mama bird away." said the boy with a bored voice.

Xen didn't stop the other guy from leaving. He doesn't like to socialize and rather be alone. He climbed on the tree and looked at the bird nest with his binocular, noting that there is still eggs in them. After he set down his binocular, he opened his drawing pad and flipped through his past drawing of the mama bird in her nest. He has been spending more time observing the nest especially when he began to notice the mama bird hasn't return to its nest,

Xen was hoping the mama bird would return to its nest. If the mama bird return, that's mean there is hope that his mom would return too. Ever since his mom left his dad and him, his dad became depressed. No one notice though since his dad always covered his face with that thick make up and acting like an idiot. It was part of his job to entertain the spectators or he will be out of work.

"I guess that's what clown do." sighed Xen.

Long time ago, he didn't have any problem with his dad being a clown but that change when it drove her mom insane and eloped with another man.

After reading most of the night, Tala had eventually drifted off to sleep, curled up on the ledge. The book dropped from his hand as he slumbered, falling open before a soft breeze drifted across the pages, turning them before becoming still...

The cave filled with an eerie, blue glow which surrounded him before dissolving.

"I don't think I should go back to the circus... They must be angry with what I did yesterday." Alex looked away from Victoria. "Let me down. I can walk." He was embarrassed to be carried like that.

The smell of the damp, morning air crept into the cave, arousing him from his sleep with a shiver...
Sliding from the ledge he picked up his book and put it into his pocket before taking on his wolf form.
Padding to the cave entrance he took a deep breath of fresh air, before stepping out into the grass.
Strangely, it seemed a little taller than he remembered, but he bounded through it anyway, bouncing every now and again to get an idea as to where he was.

Eventually, he found himself back at the foot of the tree where he had seen the boy.

"You still up there?" He barked

Zen opened his eyes as he heard someone bark. "Whaa..at.. Oh.. I must have doze off.." Zen sneezed as he felt the cold morning. His head was still fuzzy. He accidentally tripped and fell down from the tree, screaming.



"Will it follow my order? Is it tame?" Fred looked at the panther with anxious and wary eyes. He has no experience on handling wild animal such as the panther before.

"Oh what I am going to do, boss... I'm afraid that Xen run away." Fred said tearfully. "I must have did something wrong.. but what was it." Fred sat on the ground sobbing and scratched his head, trying to figure out what he did that make Xen run away. He wasn't too bright but he really love his son.
