((I've been waiting a while for this RP to end but there hasn't been new posts in a while so just pretend this post takes place sometime when the office is empty please! LET'S DO THE TIME WARP AGAAAAIN~))

Christof had grown apprehensive of the office, especially after his interactions with the people in charge as of late. Even so.... he wasn't in trouble. He was just... making things official. Stealing his courage, he attempted to straighten his shoulders (or at least stand proud) and stalked inside. By the time he had reached the empty secretary's desk, though, the anxiety had set in afresh and his slump returned. Good... good, the place was empty. That meant no questions. Just... leave these on the desk like Master Barth had said and... all's well.

Gingerly, he slid the two forms onto the desk and then quickly scooted away again before anyone noticed him.

(Also was waiting for the RP to end, so I'm also time warping with Bili. XD)

Riley had filled out the forms that very morning. In triplicate, just as she was asked. She hated returning to that dreadful office, but it was only for a split moment - to hand the papers in, and leave as quickly as possible.

Rules were rules. As horrific as they might be.

((This happens sometime later from the current rp taking place in this thread. Sorry for the interruption.))

He waited till it was early and made sure the hallways were scare of students and other people he knew. He even left Fester resting in his small dish of water, complete with damp moss, in his room. This wasn't something he needed an audience for, and even less someone poking around and asking questions. As far as walking went, he had been on edge just carrying the little piece of paper – a paper that was light but felt as if it was dragging him down, down, down, like a swirling current to the depths of a place he told himself he would never visit.

When he finally came to the office door, he was breathing deep, working up the courage to make it know officially, what he had done because, in the end, it was already done. He inspected the mark that night. It was there, and he remembered the shaking of hands that had lead to it. Still, having it on paper, with his name written on it (even though he struggled a few times to write it down – chickening out a few times by erasing it as if it never existed) was on the form.

Reaching down, he pulled the paper from his sporran, unfolding it and smoothing it out. It was simple, with clear descriptions. He even used the old typewriter his parents gave him to write it all out, making it as official as it needed to be for the office. It had been done, in threes, as if writing it out once had been hard enough.

As promised, he had done the paperwork, and not wanting to get in any more trouble with the administration, he stepped in and found the bin used for such forms. Slinking over, he set the paper in, and then, reluctantly, let go.

Done.

To think, he told himself he would never do this, but then again, it was for a good cause. In the end, it was just temporary, and he kept repeating that very thought over and over in his head. With that, he turned and rushed out, not wanting to be caught dropping off a contract form by anyone.

Sin carefully folded the paper in her hands letter style and then slipped a small circular sticker on the seam. She didn't want anyone to tamper with it or read it unless they were supposed to. Calder hadn't wanted anyone to know about their deal, and that suited Sin just fine. Her agreement with Calder purely benefited him in every way. Still Sin was banking on his gratitude someday, it was a more subtle maneuver then she was used to, but acquiring power took time.

She slipped into the office and carefully lay the contract on Arel's desk. She frowned slightly for a moment hoping it wouldn't get lost among all the paperwork already there. Then she sighed and flipped her hair back slipping quietly out and glancing around to be sure she hadn't been seen.

Carthusia cleared her throat and folded a piece of paper in her hands. She was told to fill it out if she marked someone, which she did, but she had no idea where to return it. Frowning, she figured the office would be the best place... it all made sense in the long run, she thought. She didn't want to disturb anyone, so the demoness scampered to the nearest desk, dropped off the paper, and scurried back out the door.

Unlike a majority of the students entering the office, Mandy practically radiated happiness. If submitting a form was required for what she just got then so be it.

Carefully taking the offices copy of the form from her pocket and slipped it onto the desk before skipping straight back out, mission accomplished.

Arel grumped. Paperwork? All his work. Getting supplies out of Breck's Jackforsaken shed? Apparently his work too. Handing out notices to new second years regarding their new classroom schedules? Also apparently his.

The secretary did not bother to wait for any of the newly anointed "second years" to show up before peeling a random piece of paper, labeled 'Student Invoice' in rather familiar handwriting, stare at it blankly for a few seconds, before tossing it towards the Shredder. Too bad most of the said First Years Who Actually Passed Their Exams actually had showed up today: if there was a thing Arel hated more than gnomes it was gnomes that actually got their job done. Some notices were not meant to be sent out.

Rolling his eyes slightly, the secretary leaned backwards against his desk and eyed all the second years levelly. Deciding that it was a little too level considering they were sitting - on the new chairs he had installed over the past few weeks - and he was standing, the ice demon casually leaned a little more backwards on his desk, propped his hands against the edges and pushed himself up. Too bad he never quite made it over the edge and instead simply succeeded in flailing both legs a bit before settling back down. There might have been a glower to said desk and a personal mental note to adjust its height.

"As you know," the secretary started, just as the first of the second years might have been wondering if they had been summoned to watch a display of Arel's lack of prowess in desk climbing, "You have all managed to pass your exam. Congratulations." The absence of any sort of emotion in the sentence was something most students had probably gotten used to by now. "That means, your parents - those of you who have, and those parents who have requested so - will be receiving your end of term results and success, and it also means that you lot will be receiving new schedules for your classes."

Surprisingly, he pulled out a pile of paper that did not involve the words Cleaning bill on it. Instead, it wrote 'Laundry Bill' and involved a very long and colourful photocopied list of all of the Headmistresses very personal lingerie investments. The secretary did not seem to notice at all as he passed the whole pile over to hand out.

Ren found himself, rather unexpectedly, in the school office staring at a pale faced, blue haired and horned secretary who looked as if he would rather be anywhere but where he was. However Arel was actually standing, rather than sitting like Ren mostly saw him - except he attempted to sit on the edge, flopped around a bit, and glared with some irritation at the desk in question before looking back at them.

The news that his parents would be receiving his end of term results made him wince slightly, but Ren gave a small sigh, reaching out to accept the stack of papers Arel was holding out. He took one without really looking at it, handing the stack to the next person, and glanced down.

"Er," Ren said, after a moment of skimming. "Er, Arel...Professor Arel..?" (What were they supposed to call the secretary, anyway?) "This is, erm..."

He floundered a bit, then decided to just say "Thank you, sir" and leave it at that, stifling an amused smile.

After the announcement was made for all Y2 students to report to Arel's office, Jericho had wandered on over to see what this was all about. Once inside, he glanced around to see who was about, waving to a few people here and there, then seated himself to listen to what the secretary had to say.

Well, his parents already knew of what went down, though he supposed it was good for them to receive official word. Glancing over at the stack of papers, he took it and grabbed a slip for himself before passing it on to the next student.

He had to wonder why Arel had to summon them all for this rather than send out the papers through mail or something, but he didn't voice this out. Instead, he just looked over the sheet to see what it had to say.

"Thanks.. Arel," he said while continuing to look over the paper.

With hands crammed in his pockets Bul sulked to the secretary's office after being prompted by the Ickycom. Fortunately he wasn't the first there. This demon reeked of freezing cold... Savage's test.... UGH! Bul actually shivered for a moment before going for the passing paper.

They... would be going to his parents? Well isn't that just fantastic. Not that they would really pay that much attention but the last thing he wanted them to see was a failure on his final exam AND a disruption in Sex Ed. He prayed they really REALLY didn't care.

"Thanks uh.. professor.." he snorted then rolled his eyes when he actually read the sheet. "Very.. great... yeah.." Much like the professors at this school to pass important things off for the highly trivial.

He then looked to Jericho and Ren and then realized he actually hadn't taken account of how many students were actually now second years like him.

Christof crept into the room quietly, spotting a few students already gathered, including Jericho. He might have still been harboring some ill feelings towards the Dragon, but they had fought valiantly through their exam together, it was a lot less awkward to timidly take a seat beside him than sit off on his own. Slouched over his desk, the hunchback gave the dragon a twitching smile before turning his attention to the secretary.

His Master already knew about his victory over exams but... well, perhaps the reminder of his success would ease whatever repercussions lay before him for his rather disastrous return to school?

Maybe.

Fidgeting with worry, he took the paper politely, but once he read it's contents, his expression fell immediately.

He scowled.

His face went even greener as he tried to hide his expression behind his hair.

Calder didn't like the office as it held far too many bad memories. Punishments. Detentions. Just bad teachers glaring at him. It did hold once nice thing. Despite hsi mixed feeling about the secretary, who sometimes seemed to be on the students' side in suffering with them, and other times just leaving them to suffer and running off to do whatever he pleased, Calder did like one thing about the secretary. Trotting in, Calder took a good look over those long, tall horns and smiled. "Hello, Professor Arel. Your horns are looking lovely today." He pointed out, and turned to spot Christof tucked in a corner - not that you could tuck a Igor anywhere with their large, awkward form. Still, Christof managed to pull off the background look quite well. Moving over, Calder sat down and grabbed his seat, hopping it over closer to his friend's side and waiting patiently. For the first time around, it seemed they were not being called here for detention!

Heh had moved on to his second year and passed. Sure, he didn't get a pin, he didn't get to show Hellma's shadow who was boss, OH HOW HE HAD WANTED THAT, but he wasn't in trouble. Passing was passing in his book! His parents already knew he had passed, and he assumed that was the only thing they would find out about. While some parents had rather high standards, his parents were happy he was just in school and hadn't failed or hurt anyone. Now if that notice was forwarded to Murchadh - the thought made him shiver.

Not the only shiver he would get. When he took the paper from the pile being passed around, he read it and made a face. "EWW!" He then handed - well, forced - the paper into the Igor's hand. He liked ghouls after all. Yeah. That list was all for him.

In the doorway, two black antenna creped past, swaying lightly before the rest of Astra decided to show herself and, very nervously, walked into the school office. The only other time she had been in here was when they had all been caught near that pendant, so she had half expected she was in trouble again for something. Instead, it was bout her passing her exam

The fact she had passed the exam, let alone receive Nurse crickets pin, was still hard to believe. But she had it, and she was now a proud Knob, so everyone better had take her more seriously!

Still, it didn't stop her from being nervous as she took a set in front of Arel, whom she now realized was also a short person. She had see him a few times before, but it was usually from a distance.

As she sat there and listened, she was then given a piece of paper, and once she read it, she read it again. And again.

It still didn't make any sense. But no one was saying anything about it.

Best not question it

"Thank you sir.." the fairy said in a small voice.

Maritess felt like she shouldn't be here as she didn't pass her exam. But she was still promoted to being a second year! While she didn't go around announcing it on groanspring the way some of the other students had, she celebrated the fact in her own way. Unsuccessfully, because she still failed to find her legs even with Red's help (and that shovel was such a pain in the a-er-neck). She spotted a few familiar faces, none that she was particularly close with, just acquaintances in passing.

And Christof.

She resisted the urge to shudder at the sight of the igor. Instead, she positioned herself in a seat near Calder despite the kelpie's proximity to the hunchback. When Arel began to hand out what was supposed to be their new schedules, a bright blush appeared on Tess' face when she read it and learned what exactly was on the paper. She may or may not also be taking note what sort of lingerie their headmistress owned. Some of these actually sounded... interesting but she wasn't about to openly admit why she was paying particular attention to it.

Barth was not looking forward to talking with his father about his semester. Failing the exam helped, and that math class he'd had to skip, but otherwise he had been... he cringed inwardly... relatively diligent with his classes.

Granted, he was often late, and only selected coursework that looked like an easy A. He did the bare minimum to complete assignments, dragging in his feet, and either turning in papers that were only a single sentence or Contracting someone else to do the work for him. But still, somehow, he'd managed a decent course load and good grades. It was embarrassing.

Barth, of course, believed that a job could get done perfectly well without any effort on his part. And that a successful (hell forbid) sloth demon operated in just that fashion. He was just nervous about explaining it to his parents.

He was less nervous about the new coursework schedule, which looked a lot like list of unmentionables.
