Oh dear lord! So many people already! This was a first for the Goddess festival. There were always people coming, it was one of the most popular festival, but it was rarely so full early on. Not that she would complain. The old woman was standing by the boot where the nominations and votes were being made. She looked around the place, trying to see if anyone sh knew was there already. She spot River, which she still remember from her jail days, but they weren't friends enough to even greet each other. A Bit further form them was Walter and Hansel. Who would have known that her two handymen were actually good friends. She would have went to greet the, but she was too busy dealing with all the paper and things. At least the mayor (or his brother....or sister...or children...) hadn't appear yt so it was relatively calm... for now.
Also at the festival was Yoakim and Wilhelm. In retrospect, Yoakim felt like this really was the place where his relation with Ellie had started to change, the day that they had both won the title of King and Goddess. It made him feel somewhat nostalgic, which led to him sneaking out of the house with Wilhelm. The little boy should known that this was a special moment in the life of his parents. Maybe one day he would be king too and meet a pretty girl to be goddess and have children of their owns (not)! The black smith was sitting next to his grandmother, talking with her about trivial things as Wilhelm played among a bunch of flower decoration. He liked flowers! They were pretty and smelled nice! Like Peter! Peter totally was a flower!
Yoakim's sister was also there and, unlike the previous years, she was there to win. Oh, she didn't care about the date part of the festival. She just wanted to be a goddess. Since high school was over and she didn't have some people to rule over in her superiority, she had been kind of bored. This was perfect for her and she was ready to win! She just needed to find people to blackmail in order to vote for her... but who?
On the other side of the town square, a dark figure was half hiding itself behind a tree, observing the scene. He was waiting… waiting for his moment. The moment where he could make his grand entrance. Now was too soon. Not nearly enough people. It would just be boring and his master plan would be over way too soon. He had to wait. Wait for a crowd. Only then would he be able to get what he really wanted, more than anything else in the world! A little squeaky noise made itself hear from under his hat. ”Not Now, Mister BoJangle. Not now… Soon. Just wait my dear. Just… wait…”
A New face was also at the festival today. Making her grand entrance in the world of Nirvani, the great Sierra Mikain! It was about time that Popcorn got out of their little circus tent and meet some people! Seriously, two years was a long time to get a circus ready and today, she had enough. After arguing with Phileo on his closeted homogeneously, she left the tent and decided that sh would go meet some more interesting people. She looked around. Was there anyone, anyone worth talking too? At all? Mmm... Hey!? Wasn't that the new girl at the circus? Yeah, she wouldn't go talk to her. She had came here to get away from the circus, not talk to other members. Maybe she should wait a moment before talking to people. Someone of interest might just show up.

"Oh. That be making sense. Excusing me." Aleksey said to Avikna as he spotted.. Oh! MORE people! Aleksey smiled. He went up to the children first and gave them sunflowers before he gave the blonde haired girl and the dark haired male a sunflower as well. And anyone else that was in that big ol group that came into the festival. Finally he went up to Gladice and gave her a sunflower as well. " Pryvet. Im Aleksey. Here have sunflowers." He had said to everyone, the Frog on his shoulder occasionally croaked loudly.

Amanda • Hope • O'Conner ♥ Tate • Michael • O'Ballivan ♣ It had been such a long time since Amanda had been to a festival, two years gone by since the crazy festival she had last attended. And this year she at the very least had someone to come with. "It's kinda strange being early Tate, I know your rather punctional cowboy but I'm not used to it!" Laughing she walked into the town center holding hands with Tate. "Cowgirl you jus need to git yourself places on time. Just pointing your camera at pretty things makes you take the time and appreciate the pretty things but your never on time!" Cheerfully the couple strolled around a bit, watching what was going on and who was there. Amanda spotted Gladice as well as Alanis and decided to go visit. "Tate I see a couple people I have to talk to, meet up with you in a bit? Go make friends hun." Winking she walked over to talk to the kind woman she had met briefly as Tate wandered to the group from the Grindhouse. "Hello Gladace." Out and about was the young mother with Rune in tow. How dare her husband leave for this festival without her! This was... such an odd one... but indeed nostalgic~ It didn't take them that long to get to the festival, and it was only them since Blaire was working tonight. Well that was weird to think... Soon enough Rune was running ahead of her mother in her little orange dress. And... she found her brother, whom she latched onto in a hug. "Will!" squealed the little tyke. "Isn't she happy?" added Ellie as she saw the two. Normally Rune would avoid the little tyke, but she may have had a little sugar or two someone might've given that made her just a tiny bit hyper.
Alice was in this festival why again? Because she wasn't going to spend the night inside the house again. It was bad enough that she agreed to stay at Pip's, leaving her home to fend for it self... but she needed some time out. However, she hadn't exactly told Pip that so... they kind of left without her. It didn't bother her that much though, it gave her a chance to think on that little walk over. She'd find him eventually, or rather he'd find her but... you all know these two.
Tsk tsk, where was his head? It was the Goddess Festival! How could he have left Alanis go off alone over here!? ...Or rather why didn't she wake him up when he fell asleep in the living room. But! He was here now! And as usual quite naive to not imagine Alanis' psychoticness but that was usual as well. So all doled up, by an outfit previously established by his girlfriend, but we all knew that as well, he was making his way through the festival... quite hopeful he wasn't unconscious this time.
What a year this was. Camelia was out and about, attending a festival, and even participating. My, what empty nest caused. The brunette was actually looking forward to this festival, and she had heard the twins would be around so that made it all the better in case things went egh on her. Now she just had to find them, or someone to talk to. Oh Lucas-Damn little brat always heading off to his girlfriend...
Kaleb Roman was doing what he was always doing these last weeks. Mumbling different things that even his step-sister wouldn't understand. What was it? Was it about Tess? Goddess only knew, and he wasn't making it any more understandable. Instead he walked around with his hands in his pockets muttering to himself like a madman.
And right besides him was Ilya, shaking her head at his mumblings. "Oh shut up already... You're giving me a headache. Just enjoy the festival. Some fresh air will do you good. Really" said the woman rolling her eyes at him. Not even half a year and still moody as ever! Goddess what would it take!
Lucia, was a stealthy thing moving through the island. Well as stealthy as a white hooded coat could take you but... She was damn excited about being in this festival! There was even thought about participating but that would've been too much really. Maybe Lucia could meet someone here? Oh that would be great! The girl clapped in excitement at the thought. Oh a festival! It was different from the circus! How? Well don't ask the narrator, she has no clue, Lucia however is certain on that.

Of course, the Goddess Festival – how could the local priest not go? It was a celebration of the goddess herself, whom he was dedicating his life to! It would be horrible for him not to appear at this place, even if it strongly resembled the proms he would attend back in high school.. Oh, well, the fact that it was called the 'Goddess Festival' made all the difference, he supposed. The man had come in his usual garb, holding his usual leather notebook to him just in case someone said something more about the goddess that he should record for future reference. With Gladice being old as she was, he couldn't be sure that she wouldn't remember some new tidbit he should have already known! So, it was best to be on the safe side of things. He looked around the festival at the people already gathered – a few new faces, but the majority were the local residents that had persisted over the last couple years he had been there. He was happy that he was starting to join them – even happier to see Yoakim off in the end of the festival with his family! He watched them for a moment with a soft frown, looking wistful at the scene – until a soft voice from below spoke up.
“..Mitsukai..”
His expression turned back to normal boredom as he peered down at Junior, the child having accompanied him to the festival.. along with a few others.. “Awwwe!! Honey, honey, is that your little friend?” Kade's grating voice chimed in with twice the amount of enthusiasm as the family had been used to since he originally came home. Why was that? Well.. it could probably have to do with the man being.. well, not a man at that moment. Yes, Kade came dressed as Kathie, in his new outfit! Theresa, the brunette having followed the family on their outing, seemed pretty put off about it. It wasn't that she didn't like Kade dressing as a girl – but.. “Kade..” She muttered with a soft sigh; she thought he was done with this! Or, well, that's what he had said.. She wouldn't have minded as much if they weren't with Jacob and Junior!
Yeah, if Tess was a little put off, then Jacob was outright pissed as he saw his older brother in drag. His lip curled up as he heard the tone in the male's voice forced to a higher pitch, though it didn't come off as such. Hell, if anyone had just heard 'Kathie', it would come off natural, if only because of the practice, but since Jacob wasn't a stranger and knew Kade in and out of a skirt.. Yeah. This was pretty ******** annoying. “Tess,” He said over his shoulder to the woman as Kade loudly gabbed with Junior about the little girl the mumbling redhead had pointed out, who looked back up at him expectantly, “I'm heading off. We'll.. see eachother later. Bye.” By that, he meant only Tess and him would see eachother. Maybe Junior if the kid felt like it, but, no ******** way was he going to hang around Kade after this day. It was almost like the man had done this all on purpose! The one time he agreed to a 'family' outing and..! He scoffed – yeah, he probably should have known he would do this. Now, where would he walk off to? Oh, who knew? He was probably just going to go stand in a corner watching Yoakim if his past social schedule was anything to go by..
Back over to the remaining three Waldroups, Tess had, of course, saw this coming. She sent an apologetic look at Jacob's retreating back before something of irritation came to her gaze when it came back to Kade and the kid. “Hey,” She interrupted whatever the man had been telling the kid in an excited squeal, the pair both looking up to her promptly, “Kid, why don't you go say hi to your friend? I need to talk to your.. dad.” Oh. Kade knew what this was going to be about. He smiled nervously as he looked back at Junior, giving him a soft pat of his back towards the little blond girl at the question Junior gave his father.
The boy didn't seem so eager to initiate anything, but.. He didn't want to get in the way of any grown-up talk. He nodded before hurrying off to where Mitsukai and her family stood, leaving the pair alone. He did pause a short way from them to glance back and regretted it – Theresa looked mad! He didn't really know what it was about, but.. He honestly didn't mind when his dad dressed up like that. It was weird and stuff, but he didn't play with very many kids who would tease him over it.. Molly would only tell him stuff about himself and Angelina couldn't stay over at his house to meet them, so.. It was really just him feeling a little weird over his dad in a skirt, which he could get over if it meant keeping his dad happy. He looked back to the blond girl he was approaching, frowning as he saw her with her parents like that. Maybe he shouldn't interrupt..? He chewed on his lip anxiously as he watched her from where he was, keeping his head slightly lowered and his hands rubbing together. Ahh, he didn't know what to do!
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Off at a different part of the festival and much less noticeable, Romane had entered the grounds, surprised at the amount of people already there. Then again, it was the most popular of them all, she supposed.. The woman could handle standing duty at it, though. Rachel seemed busy with desk work and she hadn't bothered to ask her partner to help her at something she had done several times alone before. She was perfectly capable without that degenerate of a man working 'with' her! Friend-stealing, disgusting man.. She scowled at the thought, but took a breath to calm any irritation. She was just here for work, of course, it should be relaxing, not bothering! She could ignore everything if she simply focused on doing her job – patrolling the festival, counting heads, eavesdropping on any of the more heated discussions to make sure nothing was going wrong.. Alright, maybe that last one wasn't really apart of the usual job description, but, well, she liked to remain on top of things! Especially certain individuals of interest – such as Eleanor, Walter, those new circus workers, and.. Vladimir. She frowned – he seemed to be doing better.. And he was with Walter? Did the two know eachother? ..It wouldn't surprise her. Oh, well, she wasn't going to talk to any of them, anyway – this was just the usual 'stare at a long distance in the most subtle fashion she could manage' drill.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Ah, yes~ Finnian hadn't been able to convince Alekzander to go to the festival with him, but that wouldn't stop the local superhero! Or was he? Yes, though many probably couldn't tell, Finnian was inside his usual disguise as his busybody counterpart – Finnian! ..Ah, well, he didn't have a superhero named figured out yet, so, he had to go by his real name on both ends, but.. he doubted anyone would notice anyway! On account of no one really knowing his superhero self yet.. Oh, well, Finnian was just fine regardless! He was going to do some research on the townsfolk before he made his grand entrance! Yes, he would have to blend in with the crowd~ Which, for a man with blue hair, a business suit, and a red mask tied around his eyes, should be a simple task! Why? Because he had a glasses on! Yes, everyone knows that glasses concealed the identity of anyone – but, for extra measures, he had a hat on too! Just in case the glasses trick only worked on Superman related heroes. Now, what should he do first?

A random melody popped into her head, as she observed the flower, humming softly to herself. Eventually her gaze lifted upwards, spotting two large groups of people entering the Town's center. Her song broke, as she stood back up, hugging th flower to her left. "I suppose someone is bound to talk to me if I actually head towards the bulk of people." She stated, pushing off the cool stone. Her feet were rather clean, seeing as she walked everywhere barefoot. In her bag, resting neatly on her right sholder there is a pair of sandles just incase it called for her to go into a store. On her ankle, a anklette hugged her leg. It was a hand-made gift from her grandmother, wth her initial's carved into clay beads. Two silver bells were also strung to the anklette, giving off a soft jingle as she stepped down with her left foot. A simple red ribbon was tied to her right ankle.
Even if it didn't call for it, the young woman was feeling rather strange, walking into the crowds, she was in a new town, so it was acceptable... Though this was more of a paranoia type thing. She stopped walking, turning around wondering if she should just retreat back to her bench. She felt stupid standing lone, looking rather lost. Should she pretend to be waiting for someone? Aleksey was overwhelmed SO MANY PEOPLE TO GIVE FLOWERS TOO! He went on overload. He just started handing out flowers to everyone. Amanda, Tate, Ellie, Rune, Alice, Lucas, Camelia, Kaleb, Ilya, Lucia, The Priest, Kathie, Tess, Jacob, Junior, Finnian, and finally Romane. By the time the Russian had gotten to the cop he was breathing a bit heavy and all red in the face. "Pryvet.. Im Aleksey. Having flower please? For festivals, da?" Aleksey said as he handed Romane hers. Had he gotten everyone? Yes? Yes he thought so. __________ "Hello Mister. Or should i say howdy. Nice southern drawl there." Integra said with a smile to Tate. "Guten tag." Hans said as he waved to Tate. "Well now ztere are too many people heir Unkle i cant find River! oder any auf mein friends." Una whinned as she stomped her foot and looked to her Uncle. "Vell go find ztem." Hans urged as he shoved Una away from the group. "Hello, Hey Walter this is the guy who took your job." Dante said as he looked to the Brit. Walter looked over to Tate, blimey he would be a southerner wouldnt he. Oh so sweet, yeck.. no really, he wasnt that bitter. "Hello ol chap. Walter Dolones and as our lovely Dante said here. You took my old job. I hope you like it. Keeps you on your toes, i bet." Walter smirked lightly. His gaze adverted as he caught sight of Kathie. Of course at that moment, Dante also caught sight of Kathie. And both decided to shout hello at the same time... so it went a bit like this. "Hello Kathie ol gal!""Kathie sweetie hiiii! You look so cuuuuuute!"Walter and Dante threw one another a -thats MY friend- looks before they spotted someone else. "Kaleb ol chap, hello!""Ilya! Hi honey!" "Stop knowing my friends Walter!""I dont know what your bloody talking about you daft fool. Besides, im the one with Kathie your just her friend.""Oh! Oh.. oh you.. meanie! Kathie is mine! My buddy in drag!" Dante said as he slapped Walter on his arm. "You hit like a bloody girl." Walter rolled his eyes. Pip was searching for Alice, but lo and behold he hadnt found her yet. He looked to Tate a little late on his greeting. "Bonjour Monsieur." He said gently. Not that he thought she was here, she said she needed some time out. Rather to him that meant time out on her own alone. So they had left without her. Really though he shouldnt worry.. too much.. right? I mean she was just pregnant with his child and ********! why did he leave her at home!? ___ "Camelia.. Hello." Vlad said as he spotted Camelia, he waved her over for her to come join them. Looking around the crowd he just spotted Romane for a moment and holy s**t, she was looking in his direction yet again! Surprising! He looked back to Camelia, he had enough of the Officer for a bit.

Zelynity was glad to see another Goddess Festival. She always loved them! Not only was it her favorite season, but it was just like a prom! Sort of... For adults! Well kind of... And everyone got a long great! A little at least... Either way, she was excited. She was also happy to see that her brother was competing this year. She really didn't know why he was competing, no one really even knew him. But, she had a hunch that he had his eye on someone else that was competing. Those sister hunches were never wrong! So, besides the general excitement that they gave, she was eager to see if they would win together!
She had offered to carry around a banner telling people to vote for him. Even made little cards that said Vote Raiden Niami for Harvest King! but nooooo he told her she wasn't allowed. Not that he controlled her, she was an adult now! She could do whatever she damn well pleased! But, Raiden did pay all of the bills and bought groceries and took care of her... Okay, so she did need him. She looked over to him with a smile and punched his bicep gently. "I don't think you can handle being King." Her smile widened, waiting for his response. He looked so tense. She couldn't understand why someone who had such anxieties kept throwing himself into these situations.
________________________________________
Raiden, of course, had a cigarette in his mouth. He was entirely nervous about this whole thing. It was only amplified when he saw Dante. He seemed to love torturing himself because he was throwing himself into another festival. It helped a little that his sister had decided to tag along for moral support and all that, or at least that's what he wanted to convince himself. He did know that she loved them and had heard her go on and on about the festival since the beginning of Winter. She was so weird sometimes. It definitely didn't help the raving when he told her he was thinking about going for King. Her face had been nothing but sheer joy as she ran across the living room to hug him.
He began looking around the area when he felt something hit his arm, he literally jumped at the touch and then quickly looked over his shoulder. "Right now, I don't either." He flicked the remain of the cigarette away and grabbed a new one out of his pocket. He glanced in Dante's direction again, but saw that he was surrounded by people. That would be his excuse if he was accused of not talking to him. Oh, the luxury of having excuses.

Xeiro was glad to get everyone out of the house. He was following shortly behind everyone else and had a dumb grin on his face. Spring always tended to perk him up, though. It was even better that he didn't have to watch the kids for the day! They had sort of pawned the children off on Beatrice, but she gladly accepted. So, it was her fault too. Xeiro felt great about just going to a nice outing with everyone, but then it dawned on him that they(Bela and Xeiro) could have had the entire house to themselves to fornicate in! This was a terrible thing to discover once they had already arrived!
He shot a glance over to Bela and forced a smile. He was the strong father now, after all. It was still so weird for him to think about himself that way. Even though it had been that way for a pretty reasonable time. He looked up to Beatrice pushing the double stroller and couldn't stop the real smile from creeping. It was all weird, but he loved it. He took a sidestep towards Bela and placed his hand on her lower side opposite of him. As long as no attractive women were around, it was his job to make sure everyone knew Bela was his.
________________________________________
Another Goddess Festival to lose. Mitsuke was walking with her arms crossed and next to Beatrice. She'd be damned if she stood next to Bela. ******** b***h. She rolled her eyes at just the thought of her and kept walking. She glanced over to the little babies that looked so delighted to be in the area and smirked. Babies were sooooo stupid. She then looked around for someone she knew and could talk to. But, it would be just her luck that the few she was comfortable with talking to would already be talking. She sighed and glanced back over to Beatrice. "Soooooo..." She never really knew what to say to her younger sister, ever. It was usually just grunts and motions that she somehow understood. That child was a lot smarter than anyone gave her credit for. She left it at that and continued looking around, hoping that Beez would have something interesting to talk about.
________________________________________
Beatrice was pretty excited to get out. Usually, she was stuck home doing reading. This reading was most commonly to her nieces though, which was always funny. She didn't even mind that she had to watch them today, in fact, she offered when Xeiro mentioned wanting to attend. She was pushing the tykes along, at the head of the mob that was there family. She was happy that their family size had doubled over the past few years. It was great to have other people to talk to, even if they only giggled up at you when you did talk.
She was humming a soft tune and looking around when Mitsuke addressed her. She turned her head to look to her failure of a sister, "Yeah?" She knew wholeheartedly that Mitsuke had only said that so she would start some sort of conversation, but she wasn't biting. Dumb drunk could suck on that. Beatrice was seriously sick of it. She really needed to clean up her act and start helping around the house if she ever expected Beatrice to start making conversation again.
________________________________________
Baby Lyra was as happy as could be! The sunshine made her feel good, even though it was barely touching her. She had a wide smile on her face and was kicking her little legs gently, wanting nothing more than to run through the grass. Her little hands were placed against the fabric on the stroller. It was so weird and touchable! She could even see her sister right beside her. "Gaaaaaa! Glagh doo ga." She smiled over at Ryder and started some baby babble at her. If anyone could understand what in the world was going on in her head at that moment it would sound a whole lot like. "Holy crap! This place is so big." She continued looking around after that, giggling and smiling as much as ever.
________________________________________
Crimson had his hands in his pockets and his hair in a ponytail. He loved warm days because they meant ponytail! He had a rather large smile plastered onto his face for this little festival. He didn't even know why. It was one of the less eventful ones, after all. But, he enjoyed himself among the other townsfolk, so it was good. The only person he saw that he primarily knew was Nanami, so he decided to go talk to her. She looked rather bored being with only her family, anyway.
He took a straight line to the tattoo artist and smiled, "'Ello, there, lassie. Having fun at the ol' Goddess Festival, mate?" Nanami really was a nice lady. He didn't really know her all too well, but what he did know he liked. She put the tattoo on his back after all, and it was a pretty good job if he did say so himself.

Morgan Marlowe had begged and begged and begged and finally got his way. The five-year old wanted to know what the festivals in this town were going to be like. He was with his random NPC parents, but was walking far ahead of them. He was too excited to deal with staying with them. They weren't any fun! New people were fun! He looked around all of the crowds smiling at everyone as he passed them. Everyone seemed to be so old. Surely there would be someone his age nearby! He soon saw a boy, that looked like he was close to the same age, around some flowers. "Hi! My name's Morgan! Nice to meet you!" He smiled at the boy. Maybe this town wouldn't be so bad, after all!

All three Koyama's were equally startled by the arrival of Aleksey, who handed them each a flower and then hurried off without another word. Nanami and Haruka stared at their flowers for a moment before handing them off to Yuuto for him to hold for the rest of the festival. That's what he was there for!
Nanami had just turned to resume her conversation with her daughter, when a male voice caught her attention. She turned to see Crimson, breaking into a smile. "Oh, hello, Crimson," she greeted him. "I suppose so. The Goddess Festival is one of the more enjoyable ones," she explained, slipping a hand into her pant pocket. "Especially since my daughter's entering this year. All of the pestering finally paid off!" she laughed lightly. Haruka turned and smiled slightly at Crimson at the mention of 'daughter'. "What about you, Crimson? Enjoying this nice day?"
Now that her mother was distracted by someone else, Haruka clasped her hands behind her back and glanced around the festival. She recognized a few faces from school, giving a tiny wave when she spotted Lucas. (There was no way she was going to go up and talk to him with Alanis around.) Ahh, and there were Raiden, and his sister, Zelynity! She debated going over to talk to him, but... she decided against it at the last minute. He probably had other friends to talk to. And so she looked down at her hands and fiddled with her fingers.
"Did you see that?" River asked, waving her sunflower in Alex's face. "It was the guy from the inn!" Elliot nodded in response to her sister, rolling her own sunflower between her hands. Alex, meanwhile, was on the verge of smacking the flower out of his sister's hand, though he was doing his best to maintain his composure. And it had been such a promising day, too.
At the same time, Rory and Natalia, who had moved to the outer area of the square, had proceeded to pretend to sword fight with their sunflowers.

There certainly were a lot of interesting people in this town. Reed had only scanned the people around once before coming to such a conclusion. But when he looked back at his cousin he sighed. It's not like his family was any different. When Aleksey came over and gave the three flowers Reed felt a mixed emotion. One of relief from a kind gesture, and nervousness to a weird encounter. This place really was making him a bit antsy. Even though he wasn't even competing, he felt more nervous than the air head behind him, who actually was a candidate. Reed sighed again see how lax Alastair was.
After the three were given flowers, Erika's mood had brighten a lot. She loved flowers and had never seen a sunflower in real life before. When she showed hers to her dad, Reed smiled back at her. This put an even bigger smile on the young girls face. She had now completely forgotten the fact that there were tons of people around her. She was even more distracted when Alastair took his and Reed's flowers and placed them on both sides of Erika's head like two big ears. She giggled when he did. However before she could show her dad, she had been dragged away.
Alastair still had no clue why he was here. But, he soon didn't care to know when the flower man came up to him and gave him a sun flower. With it something triggered in Alt's head making him bored of Reed's company. Grabbing onto Reed's flower and putting both them in Erika's hair put Alt in a position where he could see two people... Sword fighting? This immediately caught his attention. And without much thought, he grabbed Erika by the arm and dragged her off to the two 'flower fighters'.
As soon as Reed noticed that his two companions had left for whatever reason, he felt a sudden urge to smoke. Reed was somewhat anxious about first appearances and meeting new people, so a smoke was just what he needed. He took out a cigarette and put it to his mouth with one hand. With his other hand, Reed patted down his pockets for a lighter, but had no luck. He sighed and began to put his cigarette away when he saw another man smoking one. He walked up to the man and his pink haired companion, patting some wrinkles out of his shirt. And when he arrived to the two, his hand unconsciously moved to the back of his neck and with a nervous laugh trailing he spoke, "Excuse me, you got a light on you?"

Another Festival, another day to pawn off Lyra and Ryder on Beatrice. Bela's not at fault that spending 24-7 with the kids was a hassle, she just reaped the benefits of a good harmless festival to drop her responsibilities onto a schoolgirl who was much better than her at doing what was some customary 'wifely' duties. Sigh, why couldn't she just make an effort to help around the house a little more? Unlike Mitsuke, Bela did try. She just sucked really badly at it. Xeiro had to go to work with pink undershirts for a week until he bought some more clean white ones, around the first few months of their marriage. Along with the fact that, at one time that Beatrice had gotten sick, she took it upon herself to take on some of the chores. It was an utter disaster. At 9:00 pm, Xeiro finally came home to find an crying heap of Bela on the floor with a sponge in hand. What she had been doing, well... trying to clean the kitchen floor. Needless to say, her a*****e of a husband laughed his butt off before, seeing how she did try, pick her up and carry her to bed for a nice rest.
As Bela mulled around in her head how much of a failure at Mom-ly duties, she simply sighed and walked along. A little off by her own, but close enough for people to tell they were all together. She was unhappy. Why? Well, he comes another beauty related festival, oh vanity, and she wasn't going to enter. This was all stupid Xeiro's fault! Getting her all pregnant, fat and making her eat comfort food to to ease down the emotional pain that came with his sarcastic, mean, jibes. Bela was such a trainwreck during her pregnancy, crying and screaming at every little thing.
Bela eased down to reality when she felt a strong arm, familiar. She leaned her head forward, letting slip a small chuckle. Her husband was soo territorial, she found it rather amusing. Well, now that they were married and she didn't have to entice men as to her job, then he had a right to. But, then she remembered she was out here with Mitsuke because of him. Smooth move, Xeiro. He really could be quite dense sometimes. Which is why she schooled her features back into place, looking forward. She hoped he got the message, 'I'm not pleased!' Yeah, something like that.

Baby Ryder was pretty happy about the family outing, too. Being in the cabin with just Mommy and Aunty Beatrice everyday was getting boring. Her legs kicked about energetically whenever she saw something that drew her attention, which was pretty much EVERYthing. Why wasn't Daddy carrying her, though? She liked when Daddy carried her, she was such a Daddy's girl. Speaking of Daddy, in her hand, the one not reaching up for the the thing over her head that provided her shade, was gripping her treasure; her toy keys. Tightly gripping them as she moved her arm about, making it make little sounds, which made her giggle and smile happily.
Aunty Beatrice was so nice pushing her and Lyra along in their double stroller like this. Her face must have looked like this: :D. Lyra was saying something to her, "Suppaa goo ga" she replied, which would more or less just be her agreeing with her sister. Ah, babies. If only adults knew how to talk baby, too. And not that goo goo ga ga crap, or making ridiculous faces.

Gemma was stewing something over, which was odd, to say the least. hen was the quirky woman ever stewing over anything, aside from Judith and Mao? That's more or less because bile made itself apparent whenever she was even close to one of the two evils, though Mao was definitely the lesse r of the two. Gemma, now that she thought about it, wondered why men were always portrayed as such monsters on TV. When, really, some women, mainly Judith, could be worse than even Hitler himself. Hey, it was a wonder if, maybe, Judith had been born before, Hitler would have a poster of HER in his office. Anti-semite b***h. >_>
Sigh, oh well. Here she was, at the Godess Festival, and then came back why she was here. She had been approached by her students, after breaking a deal with them, that she'd enter into the running for the Goddess title. She expected to be beat out by some younger flower, but she didn't mind. Her heart wasn't in it. If she won, she won. And if she didn't, that's okay, too.
Matthew was bound to be somewhere in the crowd, being an NPC. And because of that, she didn't really care to look for him. Everybody looked like they were havinga good time, too. Oh, hey, look! Quite a few couples had little children, which meant she was, from afar, meeting her future students. And they were all sooo cute! Especially that little one over there with the white hair (Rune), what an odd hair color. But it looked so pretty, too.
After all her little child seeing, Gemma suddenly noticed she was right in the middle of the crowd. Maybe it was because there were so many, or because she was short, but she felt suffocated. She hoped her personal landmark was somehwere around here, so with her hand daintily at her heaving chest, she looked over the crowd. Ah, there he was! Seriously, Crimson was like a huge human version of Big Ben. No, wait. Big Ben was in the form of a giant phallus, and Crimson was nothing close to what people colloquially called a 'd**k'. So maybe that was a bad comparison. As Gemma weaved through the crowd to get to her friend, she was suddenly caught at attention that he was with her other friend. There was a brief moment of caught up emotion because she had made the meeting of these two people possible, but she quickly disposed of it. She hadn't thought that they might run into each other, otherwise.
She was going for a tackle glomp, but then thought better of it. She worked with children all day, she didn't need to ACT like one, too. All three of them were adults, even though she was the youngest. Oh, how exciting to have age appropriate friends, who she secretly liked! Yaaayyyy~
"Oh, hey, you two!" She greeted enthusiastically as she materialized from behind Crimson, wanting to hug both. Well, to be fair, she wanted to hug Nanami and be carried around on Crimson's shoulders. Like a rocket ship. "I was floating around over there," She pointed out, "When I saw Crimson here." She patted the man's arm with a friendly smile on her face, then came back to Nanami. "I hadn't thought I'd find you two together, though. It's like, we're tattoo and festival buddies now!" Because they were, weren't they? They all had a tattoo by Nanami, who she would be more than a little eager to find out if the other woman really did have a secret tattoo somewhere, and they met up at a Festival! That was a little simple, but she'd rather be simple and happy go lucky than be thinking about Judith right now.

While Emiko talked with her older daughter Usagi, Mitsukai just stood there a bit awkwardly. Their conversation was interrupted as Aleksey gave the group flowers, though. "I like him!" Usagi decided as she tucked the flower in her hair. Mitsukai smiled as she received her own flower, and she held it tight in her hand, making sure not to let go. She looked down at the flower a bit before finally looking back up.When she looked back up from the flower she spotted Yoakim Junior not too far away, "Hello!" Mitsukai called out to him as she motioned for him to come join her.

Zelynity giggled at her brother, "It's gonna be okay. It's not like anything'll happen if you lose, right? Well, I guess people could make fun of you and girls might not want you." She tried her best to be reassuring, but failed miserably. She decided it was just best to get off of the topic altogether and was extremely overjoyed when some random person came up to talk to Raiden. She hadn't seen this person around, but not that she saw many people around, though. She wasn't an active person, darnit. She really needed to get out more.
She smiled awkwardly at the man that walked up and then waved a small goodbye to Raiden. She didn't want to awkwardly stand there while mens was talkings. She looked up and saw that Haruka looked rather lonely and had been glancing in this direction. Not that she knew her very well, or anything. But, she had talked to her at the art festival, was it? She also heard a lot about her from Raiden, soooo she seemed like the best candidate to go talk to.
Zell had her hands behind her back, interlocked when she stopped next to Haruka. "Hello, Haruka. I heard you're trying for Goddess~ Good luck!" She smiled, hoping that Haruka wasn't trying to walk around alone or something. That would be bad for her to just waltz up to someone. Now she felt awful about addressing her!

Raiden was nervously puffing away, even more so after what dumb Zell had to go and say. He rolled his eyes at her, who said that?! That was so uncalled for. I mean maybe tomorrow that would be okay to say, but not right now. He awkwardly spotted Haruka and raised his arm to wave at her, but she looked away. That made it awkward-er, so he took his hand and acted like he was fixing his hair. Raiden was always the smoothest.
It was about that time that Alistair walked up. He looked over to the guy, "Oh hey there, yeah." He dug his hand into his pocket and pulled out his trusty Zippo. He handed it to the man, hoping desperately that he wouldn't take his good lighter and run off. That would be totally gay. Gay as in what Raiden wasn't. "Name's Raiden. I don't think I've seen you around, you new?" Was that a weird way to introduce yourself? Raiden was such the antisocial that he had no idea how these little interactions worked. He did, however, feel like he was in some sort of a drug deal scene instead of a casual festival. Random guy-You got the goods? Raiden-Yeah. You new? Random guy-Yeah. Raiden-Yeah. Random guy-Yeah. Such a manly back and forth.

Xeiro smiled over at Bela, completely overlooking that she looked pissed off. He had learned quick that there was no need to ask, because if he didn't know what was wrong she'd b***h and then tell him what was wrong. But, if he didn't ask she would tell him. He wasn't dumb, taking out the bitching made it all worth while. "I'm glad the weather's nice. We're gonna have to go for a jog after this, eh baby?" He smacked her butt playfully before resting his hand back on her upper hip. Call him weird, but he actually liked the way that Lyra and Ryder gave mommy more of a butt to smack. Not that it wasn't great before or anything. But, there was always room for improvement.
He looked around, rather eagerly, and still didn't spot anyone of importance or of taking his hand off his wife worthy. He then spotted Alex and instantly tensed up. He hoped it wasn't noticeable to Bela, he didn't need to hear her complain again about his theories. He didn't have a theory anymore, he knew that Alex was Lyra's dad, dammit. It honestly hurt, but he lived with it. He just worked it out of his system by extreme exercising and smothering Ryder in fatherly looooove.

Mitsuke rolled her eyes at Beatrice, but only when she couldn't see her of course. "You like babysitting? I don't know why you let them walk all over you. But, hey. I see my co-workers. I'll catch up later, or something." She waved goodbye to her little sister, not that she ever wanted to spend time with her anyway. She made her way over to Integra and her group and smiled, "Hey Integra, Tate." She smiled. She actually liked the two of them. It was odd that she actually liked people, so they must be good. Well, it's not like she loved them or anything. They were just kind of cool. Okay, tolerable. Maybe. Goddammit. Now she just wanted to walk in the opposite direction and drink from her flask. She hated these people!

Beatrice looked over to Mitsuke, "I don--- yeah see ya." She couldn't even get out a thought around her, she was probably heading off to go score some drugs or something. Dumb girl, acting like she was some sort of a doormat. She loved her nieces. That was a lot more than Mitsuke could say. She never felt bad about watching the cute little things. Maybe if they were evil or something, but most of the time they were just precious.
She pushed the babies along and made her way to a vacant bench. She sat down in front of them and smiled at the both of them. "Hey ladies!" A large smile came across her face while looking down at them. They were just sooo adorable! How could anyone not absolutely love their little faces! "How are my two favorite girls~?" She picked up Ryder's toys and jingled them inches from the cutie's face. It really was adorable how she loved her keys so much. Beatrice was probably the only one in the family that didn't have a favorite. Xeiro's was obviously Ryder, Bela's Lyra due to Xeiro's and Mitsuke just didn't care about either... Beatrice then wiggled little Alphonse that was placed next to Lyra. She was the cutest thing~ She giggled down at Lyra who was pulling at the little thing's ears. She had loved Alphonse so, but it seemed like it was time to give him up with the first child. That reminded her that she still needed to give Ryder something! That would be showing favoritism if she didn't! That couldn't happen!

Baby Lyra was sooo giddy! She smiled and giggled at every passing cloud and tree. So much was outside! She needed to come out a lot more often! She could even hear Aunt Sukey's voice and it didn't bother her! There was so much going on! She continuously went oooooo and ahhhhhh as more and more things passed. Some people even caused excitement in the little baby.
She soon felt the stroller stop and this was saddening! But, it was soon fixed by Auntie B sitting in front of them. She smiled up at her aunt, kicking her legs joyfully. She giggled when B touched Alphonse and attempted a small game of tug-o-war with her, which B of course let her win. She looked back over to Ryder and smiled again. She didn't have anything to say to her sister this time, Lyra was a baby of few words, after all.

Crimson nodded, Nanami was such a nice lady. He couldn't see himself actually talking to someone like that, but maybe it was the whole mother bragging thing. "Ay, I agree, lassie. It's a little odd that it's one of the less active though, don't you think, mate?" He let out a soft chuckle and smiled over to Haruka when she was brought up. "Good luck to ya, lassie." He motioned a simple nod and then looked up to the sky. "I am, thanks for asking, mate. I love it when the weather's like this. I get to wear a ponytail and still enjoy myself in my dress clothes, mate." He laughed and looked down at himself. He probably looked silly always wearing dress clothes, but he thought it was more of a professional thing? Ah, who was he kidding. Every girl's crazy about a sharp dressed man, after all.
It wasn't long after his response to Nanami that he heard a distinguishable voice and felt a touch to his arm. He smiled and turned to Gemma. "Good to see you, love." He patted her back gently, it was the least awkward thing he could think to do in order to greet her. He figured grabbing her into his arms and swinging her around would be weird for both of them and all of those around. He couldn't resist laughing at Gemma's tattoo and festival buddies comment. She was so adorable when she was all quirky. Wait, had he just thought of Gemma as adorable?
