After the crash of the helicopter, and the reappearance of Nightcrawler, Kon took a quick light hold of Rogue's arm to bring her through the portal. They would wind up in the Institute not a moment later.

Oracle's voice chirped through Cyclop's comm, "Guys, I know both Abbot and Suppai got away, but what about Jim Zorn, Nikki Parsons, and the assassin Castel?"

Kurt looked curiously back seeing scott wasn't too far behind. He took a moment to compose himself before looking up at Ms.Marvel just before she left through the portal.
"I've got him, be right back ladies."
He bamphed to where he once teleported Ms.Marvel from grabbing the captured man's shoulders teleporting him back to the portal throwing him through.
"leid, dass"
He cringed a bit wondering if the man had hit anything or anyone on the other side as he waited for Scott.
"Scott come on!"
He yelled back to his friend holding his hand up to the side of his mouth as he directed his shout. He whipped his tail around anxiously ready to leave the battle scene.
"Comin' got to call someone then we can leave"
Scott was closing in towards the portal. He quickly got up to it in a huff and pulled out his communicator. "Songbird, get to the portal by the church. NOW-" He ordered as he opened the communicator up.

 [Exit Rogue to Xavier's Institute] While Rogue followed Superboy through the shadowy door, Songbird screamed to blast the Black Talon troopers in different directions, then she flew towards Nightshade's portal... and spotted something odd....  Finding one of the 'K-Unit' soldiers dead, the Professor simply acquires the K-Gun from the corpse -- a plasma rifle utilizing a Kryptonite crystal as the focus for the energy beam. After checking the power cell on the K-Gun, the Professor adjusted his glasses and made his way back toward the portal. As the Stonewall assassin carefully made his way under cover, he spies Cyclops making a break for the portal. Shrugging, the assassin thought to himself, Well... He's not Kryptonian, but this is still a plasma rifle...Then all of a sudden, a transluent pinky lavender barrel formed around the Professor. A blink of an eye later, and Songbird shook her sound construct barrel smacking around the Professor around like a pea in a tin can. Landing beside Cyclops skipping into a run, Melissa quipped to the X-Man leader, "I guess this is better than spam-in-a-can."

Scott got to the portal and turned watching as Songbird caught and beat the agent up a bit with her force field. If they were going to take him in he'd have to take him out.
"Songbird Can you lower the field so I can blast him?"
He said holding to the side of his quarts crystal magnifying goggles.

Songbird thought for a moment and in a flash reconfigured her construct to be thick wrapping around the Professor topped off with a big pink bow tie, "Tis the season... Fa la la la la. Lalala!"

"Is this the time to be joking? If you can hold him like that and take him through the portal we can go... cause we so /need/ to go"
Scott turned to Kurt nodded towards the portal to signal that he go. He looked back at the rubble and destruction that remained from IO knowing that the fight wouldn't be over here for awhile only more agents would show up.
Kurt jumped through the portal after Scott gestured for him to leave.

Melissa followed Scott and Kurt through Nightshade's portal with an unwilling gift wrapped assassin in tow.

ENTER Misty and CJ from Fisk Towers
A large blue cocoon appeared against the wall of a large, blocked in graffiti covered back alley. The webbing peeled away, revealing a woman in a hospital gown, and a man in a Hawaiian shirt.
Misty let CJ free of the webbing, and sighed as she leaned against the brick wall behind her.

C.J. staggered out of the cocoon and almost out into the alley, but got back in. He smiled at Misty. "Sorry about all that . . . are you alright?" he asked. He was very concerned for her . . . then again, having to go save her from being kidnapped worked SOMEWHAT. At least they were away from her captors for a bit.

C.J. noticed the pain and went over and held her. "Well, at least we can do is hole up until you're safe to move around again. Preferably somewhere without walking electrical sockets and other little weirdos like that." he said, referring to those two knuckleheads who gave him a . . . shocking experience back at Fisk Towers.

Misty sighed again as he held her. "I would say we can crash at my place, but if you walk out of the alley, you'll see what's left of it." she replied gently. As far as she knew, the city was rebuilding where the apartment once stood. But...it was just a line of rubble down the street from here, into Gotham.

C.J. nodded. "I'm sorry, hon." he said. Looking out at the area he held on to her. Sheesh, if we even set FOOT in Gotham, lord knows we're still wanted. If not by the cops, by those creeps that kidnapped Misty. he thought. He didn't want to show it in front of her, but he was essentially without a clue on where. Gotham's railroad yard would probably be crawling with cops, if not Typhoid's creepy little buddies looking for them.
