Laura wandered through Ace's shop, deep in thought while she paced around. She had contemplated all that had happened, as well as what she would eventually have to do. It had been one reason why she had not spoken to the wizard yet. She had also not spoken to Special yet either. Laura had so many secrets she kept buried deep inside her and all the people around her were just making them harder to keep. She knew that she had to get at least one of them of her chest. Finally focusing on her surroundings, Laura began searching for Special.

When Laura finally found Special, she hesitated. She mulled over whether she was actually ready to tell the truth. Gathering up her strength, she said, "Special, I need to talk to you..." After gazing around at the others, she continued, "...in private."
Special was perplexed at why this sorceress wanted to talk to her. She just shrugged and followed her deeper into the shop. Looking at Laura in confusion, she asked, "So what did you want to tell me?"
Feeling that it was best to get it out right away, Laura blurted out, "I'm your mother."
