Bonnie tensed a second and then hugged Amy back politely. "Oh you're very welcome, Amy. The only reward for a job well done and all that." She stepped back and took Miru's hand. "You are absolutely right, Miru. Good job. Kittens should be handled by their family or their vet while they are very young. It makes them unsure to be handled by too many people. Maybe when they are older."
Bonnie smiled at Amy, "Your kittens were remarkably healthy for strays. They have been given a flee bath, just in case, even though I didn't see any eggs. I will need to see them again within a month to give them their vaccinations." Bonnie patted the carrier gently, "I hope you four have a long happy relationship.

Dec came back with the food on a big cart. "Miru! Come on darlin'. Lets get upstairs while the food is hot." Dec opened the elevator, pushed the cart inside, and held the open door button.

Amy was so relieved to hear what Bonnie had to say and to hear that she had no problem with Amy keeping them. She was the first one who seemed to completely believe that she could take care of these young kittens.
She nodded to what Bonnie had to say and then smiled at Miru J. "I'm impressed, Miru J. I didn't know that. You're very smart. When Bonnie thinks it would be okay for the kittens, you're more than welcome to come over and visit them. Dec knows where I live, so you can ask him for decorations."
Amy nodded over to the counter where the cookies were. "Bonnie, I brought you some sugar cookies to thank you for all of your help. I will definitely bring them by in a month. If it's alright, I'd like to bring Thistle in for a check-up, too. I don't know if you remember her or not when you met me, but she's a half unicorn, half pegasus."

-Miru nods politely at Ms. Amy. Then the girl bounces when she hears Dec's voice and is about to dart over to him when she hears Amy mention a half-pegasus/half unicorn, she had taken one step and her foot halts in mid-air. Miru looks over her shoulder at Amy with confusion and awe on her face. Before she can muster anything else, Dec calls for her again and Miru bounds over to him, rushing into the elevator. Before the doors close, Miru's soft voice can be heard- Deccy...did that lady just say she had a half-unicorn, half-pegasus?

Bonnie smiled, "Well thank you, Amy. That is very sweet." She nodded to the receptionist who took the cookies off into the office. When Amy mentioned Thistle, Bonnie nodded, "Well those are certainly rare. I have worked with a few before and studied magical creature anatamy even though my focus of study was dragon breeds. I should be capable of giving Thistle a complete check-up. Bring them by any time."

Amy looked relieved again and smiled brightly. Finally someone who could properly take care of Thistle's health! If she ever got sick again, like she had a few months ago, Amy could bring her here. Maybe there would even be vitamins or something Bonnie could give her. Heck, it would just be great to have her get a check up.
"That's great! Maybe you can find out if her wings are developing correctly, too. She hasn't been able to fly, yet."
She went back over to the other side of the counter, gently picked up the cat carrier, and smiled once more to Bonnie. "Thank you so much again, Bonnie. And Merry Christmas. I'm sorry to interrupt your dinner. I'll make sure to check the time before I come over next time."
With one final smile, she walked out of the adoption center, holding up the carrier and cooing softly to the kittens even though they were sleeping.

Bonnie walked Amy to the door, locked it, and placed the CLOSED sign up. Then she headed upstairs to join the others.. "Sorry about that, me dears. I am looking forward to that demy food, Dec!"

Dec grinned and opened up the containers. The food was all steaming hot, except for the dessert of course. "Dig in everyone!" He dished everyone out some soup, cranberry red against the white bowls.

Dec and Bonnie also began eating. Dec grinned charmingly, "Thank you ladies." When the soup was all gone, (after Dec teased Miru gently about her slurping) Dec dished out the rest of the food, saving the Yule loge for later. While they were eating, Dec asked, "How is business going Bonnie? I've been meaning to ask."

"Doing fairly well, Dec. I've manage to get enough regular clients to hire some more help around here. All thanks to dame's help really. With her watching the store I was able to get in several interviews. Finally I have found an honest bookie." Bonnie smile warmly at dame.

-Miru swings her feet slightly under the table, even though she had to go out of her way to do it. She was already taller than dame and still growing. whee She eats happily and quietly, enjoying the food too much to sully it with talking lol -
