She stares through Ieyasu for a moment, staring into oblivion, her eyes unfocused. Her mind whirred along and her tongue was loosened with the weariness, the tired and achy feeling of having had a long day. The liquor was only the icing on the cake. "Can't rest. Don't you understand? They know me, and come to my home, and try to cut out breathing with wires and pillows. They know what I do, they resent it as much as I do..."

She pauses then to sigh with exasperation. "He won't let me die, not until I am done. Why can't any of you understand... you, Alyosha, Fae... trying to stop the pain... it's just pain... not death..." Of course, this was all jibberish to the sober mind of a person who didn't understand the contract with the incubus.

"Right.. the blood loss is getting to you - you're talking crap now. Who's going to come with wires and knives on this tiny little island in the middle of the ocean?" Ieyasu's tone was somewhat blunt. He wasn't mincing his words any longer.

He sighed, shaking his head. "Look, I think that there are guest rooms here. You can stay there. Or, if you're that worried, I guess I could put you up for a bit. It's up to you. Either way, you can't stay passed out in the middle of the floor here." This one was strange.. he didn't understand the jumble of words she was coming out with, but it seemed like she believed that she was in trouble.

Fae had to look behind her. Oh dear. Syrenrei didn't look good, didn't look good at all. She bit her lower lip and looked back to Rahujo. "I'm really sorry. I have no idea what Syren did, but she seems pretty injured and needs serious medical help. Do you know where Aly is? We need him right away.." She said in more of a worried tone. "She's tough, but still needs help."

Fae then tried to think about the fireplace- it was so hard to concentrate as it was no time to think about home decor when someone was practically dying! She rubbed her face. "Yeah..I think you caught me at a bad time anyways," she finallyadmitted, sighing and not wanting the Aerandir to feel offended. "But that would be great. We can decided on a date then whenever. For now, do you know anything about medical therapy?" ^^;

"Why...? Why can't I pass out here? They won't find me here... not here. Can't follow me here, and if they did..." She laughs a little to herself and starts to slowly seem to sink to the floor. "Even if they found me, too many witnesses. And Alyosha's hanyou... they won't take on two... not here."

This was of course making no sense at all, absolutely none. No one knew about the incubus, the contract, the investment he had in her. Even Alyosha, who had witnessed the incubus try to save her from being strangled, was none the wiser. "I won't die on the floor, just sleep..."

"Not much, I am afraid. As a blacksmith, I'm familiar with burns and injuries, but Acia is the one who makes remedies for me - and even then, that is not technically her area. I doubt that I have the patience nor the gentleness for the profession of healer."

She smiled slightly wanly and held up a massive, calloused paw of a hand. "In that case, I shall be at the forge whenever you want to talk to me."

Her curiosity eventually penetrating through her shyness, Rahujo stepped past Fae closer to the centre of the room. She coughed quietly. "I'm sorry to intrude, but -"

"You can't stay there because this is a community room. You'll worry people if you lie in an unconscious, blood-stained mess on the floor."

As Syrenrei began to sag to the ground, Ieyasu grimaced This hanyou has NO idea how to look after herself -after- a fight. No more arguments.

"No more arguments. I'm taking you out of here to get some rest - got it?" Ieyasu turned, intending to grab his jar before taking the white haired woman out of the room. And nearly walked into Rahujo. He still didn't know what she was.

"Eh... ?"

"Sorry, I just came to see if any help was needed over here. Um." she said, nervously. "Is there?"

For a six-foot-tall broadly-built blacksmith, Rahujo could be surprisingly shy at times...

This is ******** amazing. This place must be crawling with meddlesome kitsune. Somewhere in hell she was assured he was fuming at her. Sighing she took off her shirt (she does have a bra mind you) and, trying to preserve it, ripped though it were, she tied around her leg.... not that it helped much. Right after she did this she collapsed on the ground.

There. That should make him happy... bloody waste of time.

Was it just her or was the room spinning?

Ieyasu sighed."..She needs rest. She'd be quite happy to collapse on the middle of the floor here and stay. I'm going to take her over to my house and set her up for the night there. Maybe once she's had some sleep, she'll actually talk sense. Thanks though." He smiled, somewhat awkwardly and briefly at the 6' fuzzy humanoid.

Turning to the table, he lifted his jar and stuck it into his bag. Alyosha had said that once they started glowing, they would eventually explode the jar. He'd have to take the chance carrying it back. Slinging the bag over his shoulder, he turned back to Syrenrei. Who had stripped off her shirt and tied it around her leg. An abrupt move, but at least she'd actually done something about the wound now.

Stooping down, he picked her up, one arm under her knees and one encircling her back, clasping her shoulder. He couldn't feasibly lift her any other way, not with the jar in his bag.
"Nice to see you did something sensible."

Rahujo nodded, slowly. "Sorry if I intruded." She turned and walked towards the exit, heading home.

She seemed resigned now to her "fate" since there wasn't too terribly much she could do about being carried around when she could barely manage standing on her own without some form of aid.

"Sensibility is all in the eyes of the beholder," she murmured wearily, her voice coming out in a low, hushed tone. He didn't understand. He didn't see the attacks, the brutal slayings. "You don't understand. Killing left and right, right and left... blood everywhere... don't understand." She closed her eyes to stop the world from spinning around her...

and then, laying her head on his shoulder, promptly fell asleep.

Ieyasu snorted, speaking in a low voice to her. "Hanyou, I'm a youkai. Do you think I've lived without taking any life whatsoever?"

As her words trailed off, he glanced down. She had actually fallen asleep right there and then. Shaking his head a little in disbelief, he moved past to the door. Kicking it open, he headed out of the community centre and out towards the house.

With a yawn and a bored stretch, Nyxa slipped into the centre hoping to catch some sign of life. Almost humorously, Luc was perched on Nyxa's shoulder, sharing the same expression as his guardian. Bored and slightly peeved.

Slumping down onto the nearest couch, Nyxa absently rubbed Luc under his chin as she stared down at the floor.

Grunting softly to herself, Nyxa absently toyed with the obsidian fur of her tail. Luc, bored, had moved from her shoulder over to a small scrap of paper that was in the center of the floor.

Rump up and tail thrashing, Luc pounced the scrap, crowing with glee. Nyxa's attention rose to Luc, and with a small smile she watched him play.

Rahujo entered the centre in search of Alyosha. The large main room was somewhat more normal than the last time she had been here - no bleeding white-haired girl, no intense atmosphere, only one of the guardians playing with her Aerandir.

"Good evening, Nyxa," Rahujo said, smiling at Luc's antics.
