She waits as the remaining three draw close, then unleashes a gust of wind from her body, knocking them away. She turns her rapier into a crossbow and begins filling the spiders with bolts.

She starts walking for a moment, then pauses, scratching her head. "Um...how exactly are we supposed to get those? Are they just a monster we need to capture? Sounds like it, given that they're a leech."

Overhead canopies shade a lone burly figure from Helios' withering gaze; leafy marquees littered here and there with the spindle and thread of arachnoid dwellers. This didn't do much to stave off heat that seemed to sap away at vitality like a ravenous leech though. A single digit flicks one such sticky trap idly, auric hues that seemed to spark within from electricity flaring in amusement as it shivers and rebounds like a trampoline. " 'I'm sure you must be weary dear, soaring up so high; will you rest upon my little bed?' Said the spider to the fly." Deep melodic hum is soft, yet in eerie silence it seemed louder than a stampede of bulls to his own ears.
It is with eventuality that aimless wanderings carry the storm caller to a babbling brook; running water clear enough to see reflections and void of foamy white. Just what I needed. Humidity made the flack resistant textile thirty pounds heavier, slick perspiration forcing the black undershirt to cling to musculature like an exoskeleton. Zipper sings with it's release, shrugged off as the second skin is swiftly peeled away from gleaming torso; velcro straps of his identity's coverage peeled away to reveal an angular face. Kneecaps touch to grassy knoll, cupped digitus dipping into the stream and splashing planar facial features with cool relief. Rising from position of worship, baggy leggings are quickly stripped away until Kalaziel is left standing in naught but the bare minimum.
Steeling himself with a sigh, heaven's descendant quickly wades waist deep into the soft current; sharp gasping inhalation hissing between pearly whites as muscles tense and body attempts to acclimate itself to the chilly waters. Praying palms press against opposite forearms, rubbing fervently in an attempt to kindle dormant heat. Discomfort only lasts momentarily though, and soon enough it even turns enjoyable; certainly favorable over sticky clothes and oppressive air.
A slanted boulder within the creek is sighted, and he makes it into a throne; seated comfortably, waist just above the water as chiseled columns kick back to and fro below undulating waves. Occasionally an eight legged anomaly could be seen skittering upon the edges of vision, but Kal pays them no real mind. If one didn't seek to incite disturbance, why fret? He'd really prefer to avoid electrocuting one, for the sickly stench of charred overgrown insect remains was more than enough to make his stomach turn; and had led to a loss of lunch on more than one occasion.

Saccharine lilting tones fall upon unexpectant ears; nearly giving oneself whiplash as benitoite gems land upon the source of accentual melody. The light of Apollo dances nimbly within strands of starlight, icy hues trailing from north to south, before making the return trip to irises matching the tone of his own. Angular facial planes were cute, even handsome in an exotic way; unfamiliar to a man who spent most waking moments among mountaineers. He recognizes the tongue, versed enough to get by in a conversation but not enough to delve too philosophically. winsome gestures are tentative; nervous even as stilted and stuttering syllabic utterance rolls forth.
W-Well... The leeches... Electric fueled caskets widen to the size of quarters as realization hits. "Leeches!? Ewww!" gilded streams erupt underfoot, water boiling as the earthbound seraph shoots towards the rocky hilltop. Small bolts arc up and down every inch of slickened marble, heliotropic parasites upon legs and back overloaded with voltage; drying and shriveling up before crumbling and falling away. "(Are there any left?)" All too apparently not the native tongue, common accent is fluent enough with wording; foreign and amusing though it may have resonated to one bearing a practiced and pointy ear. Twirling full circle to allow diligent examination, Kal is obviously deeply disturbed by the development.
A mortified expression paints macabre pigment across cheeks, metacarpals tugging waistband forward; back turned to Samir in order to refrain from revealing more than was already showcased. No leech corpses are found in the underworld's inspection, and tension is released in breezy sigh as elastic snaps back into place. ("Sorry. I... Hate? Hate leeches. Any sort of... bugs really.") Voice falters, not timorous like the other but uncertain when it came to picking words. The elvish language was sing song, delicate; every syllable bearing more meaning than that of the common tongue.
Getting over vocal restraints in time, as he warms up it grows ever easier to transfer tongues over. "(You say I don't belong here. Do you not like me? Not very fair of you considering we just met.") pouty voice betrayed by coquettish scything split reveals gleaming ivory as azure kaleidoscopes gander limber body up and down once more. Even dressed modestly, the presence of lithe whipchord is all too apparent underneath textiles of varying pigment.
They were two different sides of the same coin, one humble and unnerved whilst the other flaunts it all in confidence that came second nature. Outstretched digitus are extended in greeting; for this was a name that would be a crime to go unasked. "(I'm Kal, nice to meet you. Now... wanna help me find my clothes?)" Tone was quirky, friendly even. A little white lie; Kalaziel knew full well the outfit's exact location. But what was a little time wasted if it meant getting to know such a pretty face and adorable demeanor?

Lightning filled caskets are all too perceptive of sanguine stained planes, sickly sweet in their plight. An introvert, maybe? Coaxing one out of it's shell was quite the onerous endeavor, but always worth it as time and time again they prove to hold the deepest and most passionate of heart to hearts. Then another thought strikes like an unwarranted bolt of lightning. Maybe he was... Heteroromantic? Subtle flirting brought forth signs of discomfort, so maybe this one just didn't swing that way. It would be a damn shame, but Kal wouldn't begrudge him for it.
It is ...dangerous... For outsiders. Reflective eyne light up at the utterance, despite the warning. So the elf spoke common, broken and strained though it may have been. Lilting and canorous tones from a life of speaking in foreign tongue prominently shining bright all the more alluring; like natural song. "Oh yeah, i've seen the itsy bitsy spiders around here. They don't seem to like me much either, though. Maybe I just stink." Jesting grin comes with the self deprecating suggestion and the elf issues a title of his own. So it was that endearing nickname is almost instantaneously issued as soon as the original is given. "Samir, huh? Oh I know, you can be my Sammy!"
Chiseled features alight with mirth, joyous is the one that makes a successful catch. Hook, line, and sinker; though perhaps not so much as he believes. Even stranger utterance than elvish, soft chant was a dialogue of it's own make and matter that further perplexed heavenly guardian. "Temple, Tuna... What now?" Almost immediately the purpose is divined, identical storms bordering starlight and sapphire amused in their findings. Textile tango, clothing coils and coordinates to a silent tune of the wizard's whimsy. Angular jawline dips in assent, a peal of deep laughter rupturing from rippling torso.
"Those are the ones. You're pretty good at this hide and seek thing, huh?" Snatching dancing porcelain from the air, it is fitted over currently joyous features; likeness of the big bad wolf overtaking previous lamblike tendencies. Next comes stygian tank top, covering healed wounds and ragged scars before the dark gray protective and sleeveless jacket is dawned; form bending at the 'V' cut of waistline to shimmy on baggy leggings over waterlogged drawers. After all is said and done attention returns to newfound companion. "So tell me, Sammy; if these woods are so dangerous what brings you here? You seem like you'd make a better lover than a fighter to me."
A plethoric tidal wave of questions came to mind besides the one issued. Where was the mage from? How old was he? Did he like to party? Was there a girlfriend in the picture? A boyfriend? Never ending curiosity is stemmed though for Kal knows all too often it slaughtered the cat, and had come to terms with the fact that what he viewed as friendly; others often tended to view as overbearing.
