I don't like it in the Wandering Child song how Christine and Erik sing different lyrics at the same time, because this occured:
"Angel of music, do not shatter..."

And then here are just a few more:
"Past the point of no return, the vinyl threshold..."
"We had great hopes, now all these hopes are shatTARD!" (I love imitating that)
"Think of me, think of me fondling..."
"Sad to return to find the land we lah, threaten was mar by roma's freeching crah..." (I don't know WHAT that's supposed to mean.)

And in some of the productions, I believe. Different lyrics tend to float around in different Theatre companies.

Peter Karrie originated it as a flub because he had trouble pronouncing 'far-reaching'.

Fathering is the right line in the movie, but that doesn't mean it's not stupid. And linguistically incorrect. But mostly the former.

Actually I think it's kinda humorous. At that point he's kinda masquerading as her father or just the father-figure. I mean after all, it's at her father's grave. So it's.. well, I don't think ironic is the word. Just.. amusing.

Gash, stop singing different things at the same time!
"Thy spirit and my voice in one combined..."
stare Since when did Phantom get archaic?

It's "My spirit and your voice" for the Phantom's lyrics in that. Christine's are "your spirit and my voice". They coinside.

I know! But the my/your combination sounds like "thy"!...in the movie at least.
Singing different lines at the same time also made "Angel of music do not shatter"

That always sounded like, "Angel of music, do not shaft me," to me.

It would be apt if they used the right word; fatherly... But they use fathering, which is not an adjective and therefore can't be used in description of Erik's gaze. Does that makes sense? Because 'fathering' is a verb the only option is to consider it to be indicating the action of the gaze... Which makes the sentence literally mean that Gerik's gaze is procreating with Christine.

That's why I hate that line.

Everytime I listen to my POTO soundtrack,I giggle during The Mirror.

Because I like to replace some of the words...with pants...

"Look at your face in the mirror!
I AM THERE INSIIIIIIIDE!"

I am nearly rolling on the floor laughing when that line comes around.
Do you want to know why?
I replace 'face' with 'pants'. xd

Oh, those kind of things...
Because of RDS's spoof comic, I always burst out laughing at "Sweet Music's Throne".
(So dang funny!!!!!!! rofl )
