i think that my favorite playable character would have to be cloud. not because he's the main character of the game, not because he kicks a**, but because i saw his character art about 2 years befor ff7 was even out in japan and anyone new the characters and befor i knew cloud was the main character i said cloud looked to me to be the coolest and so i stick with it even today.

my fave is vincent, but second is sephiroth, and yes, you do play as him, flashback people, flashback.

Happynoodleboy I'd have to say that my favorite character would be Vincent... I like his style... And how he slept, and the fact that he can transform, is really cool! His limit break isn't the best, but if you level him up, he can be one of the better characters. ya i agree vincints cool but something is wrong with his final weapon my weapon only does 1300 and cids dues like 4500 and clouds dous 6700

Since I can't vote on this topic right now, I'll just say it. I think the best playable character on FF7 is Yuffie because of her attitude and limit breaks. But these are only my opinions.
