Yuki sighed, "It's hopeless." He cried out as he ran into another dead end, he thought had followed Hisaki's orders flawlessly, but obviously not if he ran into a discontinued hallway. He ruffled his blond hair out of frustration as he spun around to reverse his direction.

Yuki, A voice called out, Father! The Genin mentally burst out in joy. Son, your mother and I are in the Hidden Sound Village and are watching your progress. Yuki was confused, isn't this against the rules? Was his father about to give him the directions out. Now, do not assume that because I can telepathically talk to you, I am going to help you at. "Of course I wouldn't assume that, not at all." Yuki mumbled out loud, so his father couldn't read his sarcastic comeback. Alright, your mother and I wanted to remind you of something. Do not let this exam get to your head, you are not invincible. Just because there are young genin here does not mean they will hesitate to kill you. Konoha has been the least cruel village out there. I've been to the Hidden Mist Village, and the Hidden Sound Village on multiple occasions. Their training sessions make Hisaki and yours look like academy exercises! At this point, Yuki was furious. What are you getting at father?!

He felt an odd sensation, and knew that the telepathic link between his father and him was gone. Clenching his fists up tight out of anger, he spun on the spot again and punched the labyrinth wall. He was now furious. The wall didn't even dent as the Genin punched the wall, was he really this weak after all? He always knew Hisaki was better suited for combat, but was his buddy really that much smarter to get out of the maze this quickly? No, it was his jutsu. Compared to Yuki, Hisaki has a plethora of useful jutsu.

Yu... A voice in his head mumbled, as he tried to calm himself down to reestablish the link. See, the Yamanaka Clan Telepathy skill needs to have both users calm and focused for them to speak to each other. However, Yuki was losing his cool, making the link extraordinarily hard for his father to connect. Breathing in and out a few times, he tried to talk to his father. Father, I apologize. There was a small grunt, until Masaki spoke up, I was about to say to not become too angered at my small speech, but it seems I was too late. Now, you do not have much time left. Remember, stay safe, cooperate with your team, and to not get too short tempered. And with that, his father was gone.

Yuki was about to focus, and calm himself down even more, until he heard a little squeak. He turned to his right, for he had just ended up at an intersection, to see Chikako with her skin replaced with stone. "Nice meeting you here!" She shouted, waving in Yuki's direction. The Yamanaka just nodded at her as she slowed her sprint down to a jog. "I think I know how to get out of here, but some ninja keeps attacking everyone there. There's no more necklaces, but I got one of the last ones, so he's been trying to find me!" Yuki's face turned white. Why the hell would she drag him here if hes attacking everyone? Does she really think I can fight? He tried to cover up his nervousness by trying to say something nice or comforting, but he was interrupted before even acting upon it.

A ninja cloaked in red suddenly appeared down the same hallway as Chikako, and he didn't waste any time making handseals as he did so. The kunoichi pushed the other genin out of the way as a spear made of fire streaked past the spot Yuki was standing. The Sound Girl suddenly sprung forever towards the attacker, getting close to him so she can use her amazing Earth Taijutsu. Or she would if she wasn't blasted backwards by an eruption of fire from the Red-Cloaked Shinobi. Yuki thought quickly of how best to use this situation for himself, If I use Mind Body Switch Technique, I could mind control the ninja attacking Chikako, finish her off and steal her necklace, then abandon this body somewhere. Yuki scrambled up against a wall as he let the two shinobi duke it out, Never mind, it is way too risky. If I miss, it could be lights out for me. If it hits, she might continue attacking me which could put my body in jeopardy as well. In fact, there are a lot more downsides than benefits at this point.

Chikako was having a hard time defending herself, as well as inflicting any damage upon the Fire-utilizing Shinobi. The Yamanaka did the one thing that would benefit him more than anything at this point, he ran like a coward. "Wait!" Chikako yelped at Yuki, holding her hand out. She was then blasted by her sudden distraction, as she was flung towards the wall behind her by a massive fireball-type jutsu. The Leaf Genin didn't bother to glance behind him to see if she was alright or if she was following, he needed to get the hell out of there and find the center fast. Even though Chikako said so herself that there are no more Kanji left, maybe she was mistaken? It's not like he was going to be that late, right?

Suddenly, a screech filled the small pathway he was on. Yuki turned his sprint into a small jog as he smirked to himself. That screech came from the Kunoichi, meaning, she was probably cremated, right here in this labyrinth.

Aya had gotten board while waiting and had, began to doze a little nodding in and out of sleep, and ended up missing her chance, when she woke up fully, she looked around only to find herself alone, with a little depressed looked she released her jutsu and began to head off to the exit. It didn't take very long to find it compared to the Kanji, she looked at the wall that seemed to have been to designed to be the exit, she removed the stone and placed it on the wall, causing it to open and made her way out.
