"Excellent. Well I'm sure this wand will come in handy eventually. And I'd love to put this new spell in my book." ((I have to go double check how to put spells into my spell book))

Once the battle was over, Nalani looks over the treasures they've found on deck. Hearing Coud tell a joke, Nalani laughs heartily, and pockets 100 of the 200 gold. "My, you are quite the comedian," she said to Coud. "Have you been at it long? Or are you just naturally talented at comedy?"
Looking over to Lorea, she resheathes her swords. "Are you okay? That was a close one. I wonder why they decided to attack us so suddenly? We've barely gotten away from the island..."

Salastri comes landing up over the deck. His open wounds are an odd color of deep blue. He staggers a bit as the captain slides up under his shoulder, propping him up. The captains says, "You know Salastri, if you'd just give me the water walk spell, you wouldn't have to put yourself into that kind of situation." Salastri replies as he pulls a bottle out of the bag and starts to drink, "You know Oceas won't allow me to actually die on his own ocean. Besides, look at the skies above the island." The captain looks over towards the island with the rest of the crew. The skies over the island were odd. Though the clouds were grey and flickered with lightning over the island, a blatant parting of the storm created a path of clear skies for which the moon shown down highlighting a road. The captain says, "Easy as she goes Mr.Worth, this might be bait."The ship continued sailing...

As you draw nearer to the island, the captain has you preemptively sat in the row boat. They drop you close to shore and quickly make haste away, the parting of the clouds closing as they sail off. Salastri heals everyone and then rows the boat to the island.
Change to the Omaca thread.

Instantly transported away from her comrades, Nalani opens her eyes to see a part of the beach that was unfamiliar to her. She looks around to see if she can see anyone or anything close by, and listens to the sounds around her, hoping she can get a glimpse of Lorea or Coud.EDITED: *rolls Spot first, then Listen* Spot: +7 Roll:6 Total: 13 Listen: +7 Roll:18 Total: 25

Your body aches with pain as you stir, obviously bruised from the impact of the explosion.
"Your comrades are not here." You turn toward the inside of the island, away from the sea, to be confronted with Tempesti standing before you.

Nalani looks up to see an ominous figure standing over her. Shaking a bit from the pain of the impact, and her fear of the strange, intimidating man, her voice squeaks out quietly.
"Where are they? And what is your problem with me? I don't think we've ever met before. If I understand correctly, you are Tempesti...a very powerful being." At this point, Nalani kneels, her head drops, and her eyes face the ground. It is a respectful gesture, and she has no desire to be killed in her first day away from the island where she'd spent the majority of her life. She had been looking forward to this adventure, but at every turn it seemed there was someone ready to kill her. Just my luck!, she thought.
Feeling the ocean breeze from the ocean behind her, Nalani takes a deep breath, inhaling the salty air. If anything, she could try to run to the ocean, and hope that Oceas would help her.

"Your friends are fine...for now. As for you. you... Your ready, unlike your father who was too early and had everything to lose, you have nothing but the keys. And now the key keeper casts her lot into the game...but who does she unlock the door for, I wonder. So, stargazer, who?"

I'm ready? For what? You speak in riddles Tempesti...I know I'm not the smartest of people, and I have lived alone, all by myself, for 15 years now, with hardly anyone to talk to. So, I know I miss some things." She paused. "You'll have to be more clear with me. I'm not sure what door I'm supposed to unlock, and for who. I came on this journey to see more of the world, and to have an fun adventure, and now, I've been threatened more than once in the past day. Seems like I should have stayed on that island! I did all of this for myself...for my own well-being."
She dug her fingers into the sand, pulling a handful into her fist, still looking at the ground. "And why do you speak of my father? He's been dead many years now. I don't see what he has to do with any of this..." The girl was visibly upset, angered that this man had even brought up her family. A single tear rolled down her cheek and dropped into the sand, a quick mourning for the lost ones.

"Be angry at me, shake your fist...even hate me. I executed him...he with the entire ship and crew because of his assumptions. But know that my tasks are appointed to me by the highest order and I will not faulter. As for the truth about you. As for you, key keeper. You do not need to know anything. We are trapped within the weave of fate, I the guardian and you the key keeper. I wait for you, you open the door. But for who?"

"Really, what's done is done...You've executed them, sent them to their death...And now, will you do the same to me?" Looking up at him again, there was a new strength in her eyes. She was no longer afraid. Nalani had accepted her fate. She may die here on this island, not far from where she'd began her journey, but at least she had been able to get off the island for a few hours before her fateful end. "And what kind of key is it that I posess? Why do you need the key? And I still don't know who you're talking about...I'll open the door for myself. How about that?"

"The key, for me? The open lock, for your self" Its quick. His eyes narrow and steps into you, placing your hand on your chest. Once again, before you can really react, he shot puts you some distance with a plant and 270 degree turn to build up momentum. As you sail you hear, "Know your, our place."ref save sizzla.
