Xairan used his power to make all three of them vanish into thin air. When they reappeared, they were thousands of miles away from where they had been. He was exhausted from using his power like he had. Himalaya whimpered, she had felt the fear from her unborn pups.

the demons seeing what was happening began to trace there energy as they had spit on the wolf mother just before they escaped. It was a small amount of black blood that would act as a locator. Meanwhile the demon emperor appeared from a portal bored of the chase already . ' hurry up and find them again. this time il go quickly and take them out. this game of cat and mouse is getting old. the so called 'heroes' will die. Find nane and have him follow them again. Twell him we will grnt him nay reward he wishes upon completing this quest." said the demon emperor as his minions continued there work. He knew the group would likely be in demon territiry so finding them was only a matter of time. If the kept running more cities would fall until there was no where to hide. there flight was meaningless.

Ayden looked worriedly at Xairan. She slipped off of his back and went and cradled his chin. "We need to stop. You need to rest." She looked at Himalaya and her eyes widened. Her stomach had visably and majorly distended when they made their last transport. "Xairan... are the pups supposed to mature that fast?"

Xairan looked over at his mate, startled at what had just happened. "When we travel through portals like we just did, we enter the spirit world. Our bodies absorb the spirit energy as we travel, Himalaya;s body must have absorbed more than usual because of the puppies" he said. "They matured much faster than expected." Himalaya whimpered, she was feeling so very tired and just wanted to lay down.

Aydens eyes grew wide. The signs she was getting from the pups wasn't good. "Xairan..." She said her voice stangled. "The pups want out."

Himalaya was ready to drop when Xairan held her up. "No Himalaya, you can't lay down here. It's not a safe place for you" he said. He looked over at Ayden, "We have to go somewhere safe and warm where there is plenty of food and water. She won't have the strength to travel if we stay here." He was panting and clearly frightened, nothing like this had happened before.

AYden streached her mind. "Theres a glade not far from here that has a warm cave thats very hidden." She looked at Himalaya. "We need to get her there fast. This one can help her but you need to stay out side the cave." She lefted herself with her wings and she took Himalaya by the shoulders and chest. Her carried her gently, but quickly, to the cave and rested her on her side. She ut her hands on himalaya's chest and stomach. She closed her eyes and gave Himalaya more energy.

( no im not. i said they sent tracking demons and it would make sense for them to hve some kind of locator power to use on prey. )

Xairan nodded as he ran after them. He sat at the mouth of the cave, keeping watch though he wanted so badly to comfort his mate. Himalaya whined, she was in so much pain now that her water had broken. She was thankful for the energy that Ayden was giving her so that she could get through this but now that the sleepy numbness was gone, all she felt was pain.

Aydens eyes were closed against her own exsaustion and pain. She kept a mental link with Himalaya so she could feed her energy. The two white males came first then the girl. Ayden got them at Himalaya's stomach so they could start feeding before Himalaya could get them clean. Ayden was panting heavily from all the energy she was giving to Himalaya. The Last pup came just before Ayden passed out. The small male Came to Ayden and curled under her chin whimpering pitiously.

Xairan remained outside the cave until it was safe for him to go inside. Himalaya reached to grab the fourth pup so that he could feed as well. She placed her paw in Ayden's open hand, sending back the energy that had been given to her so that Ayden could see Xain again. She was exhausted but better now that she had given birth. She worked to clean the pup's off one after the other.

Ayden felt Himalaya give her, her energy back. Her breathing evened and she managed to wake up and sit up. "how are the pups?" She said quietly.

The pups were all feeding, suckling for milk like their lives depended on it. She was finishing bathing the tiny female which only left mini Xain to clean. "They are well thanks to you Ayden" she said sleepily.

Ayden smiled tiredly. "I just wanted to help my family Himalaya." She looked at each of the pups in turn but her eyes lingered on Xain. Her face got bright but her eyes got dull in another remembered memory.

The pups were born with their eyes closed just like normal wolf pups. Their four tiny body squirmed blindly as they fought to feed. Himalaya placed the tiny female down so that she could suckle, she was no bigger than a minute. She picked Xain up then licked him to clean him off. Xairan declared it safe for him to go inside now. He could hear the whimpering of the puppies. When he saw Ayden and Himalaya, he rushed over to them. He was so happy to see that the pups were okay as well as Himalaya. He curled his massive body around Ayden and his mate and pups then fed energy back into Ayden as a thank you for helping deliver the pups.
