"My friends." Alex replied, looking back at him. "I...didn't really recognize the two standing by Shadow Spider, but Sapphire's one of my teammates. Then Warp and Shadow Spider are...friends." She wasn't sure she should just outright say they were clones of her teammates that were supposed to be the cliched "evil clones". "I left them back at the Sanctum when I left to go look for Flash and Batman. Sapphire was...in no condition to go anywhere, so I left her in their care."

"Yeah. Well...dragged there was more like it." Alex replied. "We were in metropolis when mister mysterious told me it was time to go do something. And just...dropped me off in Keystone." then she got quiet and glanced back up at the map. "Strange...feels like I've been gone for days."
"Taking a small trip to the underworld will do that to you." Edel replied with a small smile. "Do you have a way back? Or would you like a form of quick transportation back to the city?"

"Oh no, I can handle the transportation," Sandra said, inclining her head to Edel. Lucas just kept patting Rosie's head as he watched the conversation.

Edel looked back at the woman an nodded. "Very well then." she said before turning back to Alex. "Are you sure you know where to go then?"
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure now." she replied.
"Good. Is there anything else you need?"
Alex hesitated, frowning a bit. "Well...could you...um..." Find Batman? That is what she was trying to do before she got tied up in the trip to Hell. Retrace her steps and find Batman. And Flash...since that robot was tagging along as well. Actually...there was that issue about a whole list of heroes that are missing...
Edel looked at the young girl for a moment, then smiled a bit. "The latter is...already being looked into." she replied.
Honestly, it wasn't. She could find out where Strange and the others were, she had the "good" map up downstairs, but she was not very interested in trying so. She seen what had almost become of the Goddess she was currently tending to. And the being had picked away this world's great sorcerer. She wanted no part of it. She certainly didn't want that kind of trouble inside her home.
Rosie meanwhile looked up at Paragon. "Are you all leaving then?"

Lucas looked down to Rosie and smiled. "Yeah, but don't worry, Rosie. I'll come visit you, okay?" he said, giving her a big, big hug before letting her go and walking over to his mother, who smiled. Sandra turned to Edel and inclined her head respectfully. "Thank you very much, ma'am. I greatly appreciate your assistance," she said, before teleporting herself, Lucas, and Alex into the Sanctum Sanctorum.
[Exit Sylveria, Paragon, and Alex to Sanctum Sanctorum.]
Meanwhile, another voice spoke, with a calm, almost emotionless tone: "Your fear is keeping you from doing what must be done..."
Captain Cosmos materialized in front of Edel, paying Rosie no attention whatsoever. His glowing eyes set on Edel's own, and his body language was impossible to read.

Rosie jumped a bit when the being appeared and edged to the corner of the couch.
Edel blinked and stared wide-eyed at the being. "How did.." she began, then paused to try and figure out who this man was. She didn't...oh, wait...this man was...the being that had come and warned Hades about something big.
With a bit of a sigh, Edel crossed her arms. "How so?" she asked. "I am already taking care of a few demi-gods and others. And trying to help Hades re-locate."

"You are hesitant about finding Doctor Strange and those heroes that are trapped in a pocket dimension," Captain Cosmos said steadily, his voice never changing. "This is not the time for hesitating. Demi-gods can handle themselves, but should these heroes hot be freed, it will give the Dread Ones that much more opportunity to destroy Life itself."

Edel frowned a bit. "Easier said then done." she replied. "I have a fairly good hunch of where they are. But doing anything about it is a little beyond me at the moment. So prying into a wasps nest is not exactly a 'good idea.' Nursing a few demi-gods back to full health and having their alliance on the other hand."

"If they are as powerful as you say, they should not need your help and should be able to heal themselves with ease," Captain Cosmos replied immediately. "If you need assistance in finding the heroes, I shall help you, but know that every second you put this off is another second that the Dread Ones use to prepare to destroy the weakened Multiverse and everything and everyone in it-- including yourself and X. Each of the three members of the Triune of Evil is more than able to kill X on their own. Now they have joined together."

"That's no surprise. X's fate is death no matter who comes after him." she replied, then paused and quickly glanced back at the door. As if she was afraid she had said that too loudly. Alcina was out and about after all. With a small sigh, she turned back to the being. "It's really not that simple. One being was stripped of her powers. The other is...well...while X is out and about, he's having quite a time keeping a physical form for very long." she said, then paused again. "I can find the heroes easily. In fact I have a general idea of where they'd be at. Getting to them though, at the moment, is next to impossible. I do not want to stick my head into the hornet's nest if that's all I'm able to do."

Edel waited until the being had dissolved, then sighed and rubbed the bridge of her nose. She muttered something to herself in Latin, the only word Rosie really understood was "Doctor Strange".
Edel looked back up, giving her magically created grandchild a smile. "Now then, sweetie, what can I do for you?"
Rosie smiled. "Well...I wanted to talk to you about mom and that laboratory. But...if you're busy, I can wait."
Nonsense...my children are always top priority." Edel replied with a smile.

At that point in time, a green streak of light flew down to the Earth out of a temporal wormhole and crashed headlong into Edel's house, oddly enough right behind Edel herself.
Carlie "C.J." Jordan slowly stood, coughing and waving the dust and smoke away, and she looked at the hole she made. "Aw... Crud..." she said sheepishly.

Both Rosie and Edel jumped as the something crashed in through the ceiling. Edel froze and stared wide-eyed at the wall in front of her. Then she scowled, closed her eyes, and exhaled deeply. Again muttering something under her breath in some other language. With her eyes still closed, she smiled and turned around to face her new guest.
"Don't worry...it will tend to itself." she said politely, opening her eyes. "Might I ask...how exactly you fell through my very reinforced walls?"
