Short History: Aurria was one of many students at the Jedi Praxeum on Yavin IV. She originally grew up on Bastion, but was discovered to be Force Sensitive by the time she was in her teens (about 18 ABY). Though older than some of the other children were when they began studies, she was approached by Kyle Katarn, recruited, and taken to Yavin for training.

She spent the next several years, until 25 ABY and the outbreak of the Vong War. She was 22 by now, and had just become a Knight. She saw many missions throughout the war, usually helping to bolster ground forces and try to fight off invading Vong warrios: a job she excelled at. In her numerous battles, she mastered the Vongsense, as well as discovering how to use Lightning, among other ways to kill Vong. Aurria saw a lot of horror and destruction as a Jedi, and came close to death on numerous occasions. The Vong developed a name for her, which in their language meant "Persistant One".

Miraculously, Aurria was still alive by the end of the war. She took place in an obscure battle on a planet called Helion. Despite overwhelming odds, the planet held out the invasion long enough, until the Vong retreated to assist with the attack on Ebaq 9. Helion was destroyed beyond recognition, with an almost total loss of life and military, save for a few pockets of survivors. Aurria had been fighting heavy Vong forces, when a Coralskipper was shot down and crashed almost on top of her, knocking her out and badly wounding her body.

She was found two days later by rescue team, and taken to recuperate at a refugee camp. Aurria was slowly nursed back to health, and she learned that the remnants of the invasion fleet had been defeated at Ebaq 9. Despite this, Aurria felt that she had failed to defend Ebaq 9, and had neglected her oath to protect the innocent; she resigned her Jedi commission.

Aurria was never able to rejoin the conflict. Within the two weeks that passed, the war ended and the Vong were defeated and scattered. Aurria was picked up by a Jedi shuttle, containing Katarn no less, but she declined to return to the Conclave with him. All she wanted to do was go home.

Aurria spent the last few years of her time on Bastion. It didn't take her long to realize that she wanted to still work to protect people, especially the locals of Bastion. By that time, she was approached by Miat Temm, Civilian Aide to Grand Admiral Pellaeon, and former Jedi Knight. Aurria was offered the same job she was, to act as a liason and defender of the people and also be on hand for matters regarding the Force. She agreed to work, inexchange for training as a Stormtrooper, and a license to do her job as necesary. Aurria went on to join the Corps, and became their best graduate since the new training facility had been opened. After two years of training, she has since served the people of Bastion as best as she can, though a part of her longs to be out in the galaxy, fighting the Vong again.

She owns a house not far from the Imperial Headquarters.

Description: About 5'7", thin and lithe, with auburn hair, and violet eyes. She typicaly wears black training pants, a marroon shirt and gloves. Aurria also owns a set of Imperial Officer Armor, as well as an old set of Jedi robes from her time at the Praxeum. Around her waits is her utility belt, from which hang her blaster and lightsaber. Though to some she appears slight, a closer observation shows a multitude of scars and lines, and she's a lot tougher than people give her credit for. Beneath her small body, lies a fountain of power and experience.

Personality wise, she's a hardedge. Once, she had been bright and a pleasure to know. The war changed all that, freezing her inner fire, and making her very pessimistic.

Maybe I should have a padawan....

I disagree. Most knights were around 20 years of age. Obi-Wan became one at about 19, while Anakin was about 22. My character is 27, plus, the war started when she was 22, and there would've been need for Knights.

Edit: I was wrong. Obi Wan was 25 when he became a Knight.

Even still, I've never heard of a rank between Knight and Padawan. My character is suppose to be Knighted before the war starts, enabling her to go on assignments without needing to be accompanied by her Master

You're imperial... you're not knighted at all. Basically you're a force adept. As for Journeyman. It's a rank not used very often because most apprentices go straight through to their trials after training. A Journeyman has a specific and rare skill that needs the help of specialists to master.

Well, what about earning Knighthood during the course of the war? Plenty of padawans did. My character saw a lot of action, and killed a lot of Vong.

Given Knighthood by who? The High Council? You're not a member of the Jedi Order.

...Not any more. My character was a member of the Order before and during the war. She resigns at the end.
