"Hey Kami!" Six grinned at him, apparently their little dispute the evening before being the furthest thing from her mind, "you here for a swim?"

Six waded a bit further out as he joined her, dipping under the water for a moment before coming back up and telling him, "Huh? I wasn't listening, sorry! ...Ooh, a fishy!"

The girl dove down under the water again, holding her palm out and trapping the fish in a little whirlpool. She suppressed a giggle and then let it go, it swimming off rather disorientedly while she surfaced and laughed, "I sure showed that thing who's boss!"

"Oh come on, everyone always says that but no one ever finds one!" Six teased, "What're you like, five?"

She ducked down a bit so that only her head was above the water before splashing him with a massive wave, again dissolving into hysterics as he was overcome with it.

"Aaah!" She yelled and laughed, diving under the water as the rock plunged through and sunk to the bottom. She was about to retaliate, twisting her body around to get a good angle when something shiny caught her eye amongst all of the sand the rock had kicked up. Tilting her head and looking intrigued, Six swam down a bit more, reaching for the strange but dancing lights.

Her hand connected with something solid and she gripped it, giving it a curious tug and unearthing a...she squinted, catching her own reflection amidst the gently glowing colorful orbs in the glass...a mirror? The lights were soft pinks, greens, sometimes golds. Six rose hastily with the strange square mirror in hand, gasping for air and panting as she broke the surface and called out to Kami "H-hey, look what I found!"

She held the relatively large mirror up, reflection side still facing away from him.

"It has...glowy things..." Six said, kicking her feet and propelling water around herself beneath the surface to help keep her head above water as she held the curious mirror in both hands and tilted it a little. She moved to the side to show Kami, only they disappeared as the mirror moved with her "Wait...where'd they go?"

Turning back, she saw them come into view again as the mirror lined up with the direction she'd been in before, "...Huh? Look, they go away unless you hold it around here..." she observed, moving the mirror slightly to show the way they slipped out of view. "Weird..."

"I dunno..." Six said, seeming transfixed, "...Don't you just get the...like...feeling to follow them?"

The dysadin watched the lights slowly dance, added a hazy "...I bet they're out there in the forest somewhere...let's go find them."

Not waiting for his reply, Six dropped her arms and held the mirror in one hand, swimming one-handedly toward the lake bank and clawing her way out. She was careful not to damage the mirror as she put it up onto the ground first and then hoisted herself out after, tail flicking off the excess water as she clambered to her feet and recollected her new treasure.

Six held it up, finding the orbs again in the mirror and then saying, "I bet they're this way, come on," before she absently started into the forest, following the direction the glowing spheres were most noticeable in and oblivious that she'd forgotten both her shoes and her top on the other side of the lake. There was something painfully intriguing about these orbs, even if she couldn't place what it was. They just made her feel all warm and fuzzy.
