Taranieth smiled at him. "Tell me someday." he said, with a smile, and then he disappeared into the forest, a wisp of gold in the trees, soon gone. He realized then that he shouldn't have had the energy to change like that... Strong emotion boosts the magic. he remembered. Was I really... that angry over him? He sighed.

Yes. I was.

Patrick blinked at where Taraneith had been, then scrambled down from the tree to head home.
Once there he noted that the house seemed quiet and so got himself some paper and a quill, before retiring to his room to sit at his desk.
List... well, I know what I need to write but will he try to find it? Or ask Keegan to find it? Drat I'm going to have to think through all loopholes before asking for promises!

... but will you if you find the list, the diary, I intend to make?

Lists

List of Friends/Allies and Enemies

Friends/Allies:
Giselle. Obviously.
Adrian ~ Would be, but he is no longer trustworthy with any secret.
Keegan ~ Plausible, but only if he understands my motivations and even then he's purely Taraneith's companion.

Enemies: None that I'm aware of.

How To Hide From Master Taran

One: Tell a half-truth? I realise I'm terrible at lying to him, but I just know I won't always want to tell him everything...

Two: Avoid his company, though that might not work since he'll know something is wrong.

Three: Suggest he create a sound-proof room in which to place the children. It'll let us sleep, but it should also give me somewhere to be alone in...

Four: Perhaps have my own room created?

I can't think of more for now... on to the diary I guess! Patrick thought to himself, smudging ink under his nose without realising it.

Then he paused and put his hand to his cheek, leaving a print there as well. Of course! Lists of Things to Do! && Letters, obviously... I'll do those first!

What Needs Doing

1. Explain to mother and father why I am leaving. They ought to understand and the village shall know by now since Sarah and Adrian will have 'accidentally' spread it around.

2. Write Letters to each person.

3. Contact Giselle with where to leave letters for me - without seeing Lady Aurelia again! (Uggghh)

3. 4. Ensure that Doc has all of her carved animals -

Have to rearrange that... He struck out '3.' to make it '4' and squeezed in the real '3.' as best as possible.

5. Check that Sarah is not doing anything stupid with mine and Taran's baby, without letting her think she is pregnant/that I wish to 'see' her!

6. Sot out all documents that make it seem I am going on a legitimate trip...

Now that the list was written, Patrick sat back with a thoughtful expression. He could write letters later, but perhaps he ought to go find his mother and try to explain?

'Taran', however, had no such intentions. He was content with wondering, and knew that he would have the boy in his power soon enough. He'd be with him for a long. long time... it would slip from him eventually. He had several plans as to that. Distracted men are much more easy to get information out of, and he would very much enjoy being distracting. He could not suppress a grin at the thought.

He walked over, slowly, to the house. He really wanted to see, and technically he had never really given his word... but he was more honorable than that. So he stopped himself from peeking through the window. He stayed until Artemis began to rise... then he was at the window, his eyes tactfully averted as his slender fingers drummed the glass. He was very proud of himself for not peeking even once.

Hearing the knock, Patrick tucked the papers into the pillowcase swiftly, then bent as though he were stowing them beneath the bed.

After a moment he went to the window and opened it with a genuine, beaming smile as he fought the impulse to grab the Fae man into a tight hug - he certainly did not wish for Master Taraneith to fall and gain an injury!

His silvery hair, normally hanging straight down, was now up in various mini-ponytails strewn randomly around his head. He'd intended to take them out earlier, but since he'd been with or around Emma all evening - when removing them would have disappointed her - that had been impossible.
Next he'd become engrossed in reading, so... it never happened.

"Taran! Come in- oh!" Patrick bit his lip. "U-uhm, still come in and get comfy but I need a word with Keegan at some point... do you know where I might find him?"

Taranieth was surprised at this, but not suspicious in the slightest. Patrick was no fool- he must know Keegan would never do anything to him, so the motives must be innocent- so at worst, he wanted to play some elaborate trick on him.

"As with me, all you need do is call. He is curious about you- to own the truth, out of concern for me. He will be only too pleased to have a chance to chat... as you may have noticed, he is... pretty communicative, despite his inability to speak." he said. "But I, ah, hope that it will not be so urgent as to encroach on our time together?"

Then he noticed the hair. He chuckled softly. "That's cute... was Emma partially to blame?" he guessed shrewdly. He was close to him in a moment, hugging him close and kissing his forehead.

Patrick bit his lip since he had been about to say that he would see Keegan now so that the matter might be resolved, but of course once he knew that Taranieth - this gorgeous, magical man - desired alone time as much as he himself did...

The conversation with Keegan can wait until tomorrow night... He told himself, blushing in embarrassment with the knowledge of how close they suddenly were - not to mention the way it was making him feel breathless and hot.

"Y-yes, Emma did it. She likes hair, and I would have removed them - if I'd gone out I would have, since sleeping in trees is more uncomfortable with them in - but she seems to like them, and..." A sheepish shrug. "Couldn't make the fingers work to do it when she might see..." the boy mumbled.

Next thing he knew, Patrick had all but melted into Taran's embrace with a contented sigh, forgetting that Taranieth might not wish for all of the human's weight to rest on him.

Taranieth had no objection at all to the weight. In fact, he was quite happy to stand ther forever, if it mean he could feel Patrick... oh, lovely Patrick, pressed so close. "I like them." he whispered. "They're adorable." He kissed his forehead again. "And they let me have a better view of your pretty eyes."

He trailed kisses down his nose, until he reached those perfect lips, so warm... "Love you." he whispered, and his lips wore there, and this time he didn't hold back at all, it was slightly forceful, and he let his tongue through to taste the other's sweet, sweet mouth. One hand moved to the back of his neck to hold him there.

... but will you, and can Keegan be an ally to me if need be?

Any thoughts of being cautious or startled by such a declaration fled Partrick's brain as he moaned into the kiss for a moment, savouring the sensations - he couldn't possibly respond without first doing so. That would mean no memories to think of later, and that would be a hellish experience.

Then he began to clutch at the Fae man, bringing him as close as possible and moving his lips without being entirely sure that was the right thing to do - all that mattered to him was that it felt right to him, so he continued even as he listened for any sign that Taranieth didn't enjoy it. His eyes had shut with bliss already, impossible to pry open in case it turned out to be a dream.

Patrick shivered and felt like he was falling forward, still melting all over Taran.

For someone so inexperienced, he's quite a good kisser. Taranieth thought, as he obligingly pulled closer. One leg slid between the human's thighs, tentative again- How far would he allow it? His hot, wet muscle twisted around and explored with great relish. For some reason, it was more entrancing than any fae he had ever kissed, absolutely, overwhelmingly, deliciously Patrick. His Patrick.

Patrick moaned deeply this time, but he let out a small gasp at the feel of Taranieth pressing between his legs. He gave a small shudder, but not of revulsion - more a mixture of heat and nerves.

Not sure I'm ready yet but we're not on my bed and he did say he'd wait...wouldn't be bad would it?!
That was the extent of the young man's ability to think at this moment, and as such he allowed himself to continue melting despite pausing in the act of returning the kisses - he hadn't the courage to use his tongue quite yet.

Guess who...

Taranieth decided not to push his luck any further tonight. Instead he continued the kiss for a while, but did nothing more in any other areas. Then he broke it, and they stood, leaning their foreheads against each other. "I'm sorry." he said quickly. "I got rather... carried away."

((As if guessing was necessary! That's obviously Keegan and Aurelia.... wink ))

Patrick's eyes were closed, his head leaning rather heavily on Master Taranieth - he didn't want to speak yet, and besides, he wasn't certain he could considering that he felt so boneless.

Then he groaned softly. "I do have to open my eyes, don't I?" he whispered, his arms still wrapped around Taran's back. "It's just that I don't want to - you'll slip away if I do...

((Of course. Keegan always has worn glasses!))

Taranieth chuckled. "That's a pity." he said, with a smile. Apparently he hadn't gone too far after all. "Because I really do like looking at your eyes."

Then he picked him up and carried him bridal-style to the bed. "It seems I melted you entirely away..." he muttered. "I'll have to get you back somehow.... Aha!" he added with a devilish grin. Before the human could stop him he had uncovered his stomach, and pressed his lips to it. The next moment, he blew, hard.

((Don't know if you've ever had someone do that to you but it's about the best tickling you can imagine.))
