Gage grabbed the knife and shoved it into his hand that was against the wall. "So I can do that," he growled lightly as he leaned his forehead against the wall. His eyes had changed back into their original amber color. "Pain begets distraction. Distraction begets me not becoming a horn-toad and impregnating or killing you. Simple?"

Twillah raised her eyebrows, watching him stab himself, and cringing slightly. "Um, Okay." she said simply, before turning and moving gracefully to a large outdoor couch that set upon the porch, which overlooked the garden, and lake. Sitting down upon the couch, she rested her elbows upon her knees, and then her chin upon her hands, over-looking the whole scene.

Gage walked back inside and into the bathroom as he slid the knife out of his hand. He washed the blood off the knife and stuck his hand in the cool water, washing the blood off while biting his lip. He quickly dried off his hand and bandaged it before returning to where Twillah sat. He sat down and buried his face in his arms. "Sorry about that," he mumbled lightly.

Twillah didn't look at him, she just kept her gaze upon the scene over the edge of the porch. "For what..?" she asked in her soft voice, tucking a strand of her brown hair behind her ear, before her eyes turned towards him. They were now a light golden color, very beautiful, even more so then her bright blue eyes. Her face was still very calm, just as it had been before. A soft smile crossed her face as she examined his expression. She leaned over and placed a light kiss upon his cheek, before returning her eyes back to the setting sun, replacing her chin upon her hands. "We all have our dark sides Gage, it's fine. You don't need to apologize." she said in her sweet way.

"I feel like I should apologize because controlling those urges is hard for all incubi and succubi," Gage mumbled lightly touching his cheek where she kissed him.

Twillah shook her head, the soft smile upon her calm features. "Well, Don't feel that way." she said simply, her voice smooth and sweet, and she looked back at him, and saw how he was touching his cheek. "Sorry, Was that sensitive?" she asked curiously, her eyes still a light golden color.

"No... Well not as sensitive as places like my tail. You just surprised me by doing that," Gage smiled lightly removing his hand from his cheek as his eyes glanced at her.

Twillah smiled lightly, as her eyes flashed lavender for a moment. "I'm full of surprises." she said, her gaze fixating back upon the lake. She leaned back into the sofa, crossing her arms over her and thinking silently to herself, mostly about Gage.

Twillah laughed lightly, a smile resting upon her lips. "You say that like it's a bad thing.." she said in her soft voice, her tone playful and calm.

Twillah smirked and looked at him, her eyes playful. "Hmm, Well then maybe I should be.. mysterious more often." she said with a giggle, her eyes returning to the lake as she ran her fingers through her light brown locks.

Twillah turned to face him, watching his face and body carefully. "I have a question. Can you.. control weather you take a lifeforms soul when engaging in.. physical contact?" she asked, tilting her head to the side, her facial expression curious, as well as her eyes.
