"Yes. I used to like him. Artemis, love, you need to relax. Just sit down for a while."
She waved her her hand, and walked into the bathroom

 Artemis sat down on the computer chair, and spun around on it
"And you don't care! Your father will murder him if he found out that the very VERY rare time YOU of all people, LIKE A MAN WHOM ANOTHER MAN GRABBED HIS... his... TROUSER SNAKE!"
She put her head down on the desk

Aphrodite stood in front of the mirror in the bathroom, and thought
"He would, wouldn't he? Oh dear, please don't make him find out! I don't want to be blamed for my father's cruel actions."
She shook her hair, and filled the bathtub with hot water

She stopped and looked down, holding her stomach, with her eyes closed
"W-why is it that you ask?"
Her voice shook

Artemis combed her hair back with her fingers
"Well... I would like to see you guys back together again, you know. Because he can become your mate and all..."
Her voice trailed off, she peeked through the bathroom door

Aphrodite locked the bathroom door, and went into the tub
"Dammit all. I might as well not have children. I could always have Venus replace the two kids I must have."
She looked down at the tile floor while grinding her teeth

"You never answered my question."
She looked at Artemis reflection through the mirror

"Welll.... ever since you left him, he's been sort of... well, he's only been living in his own world. Always silent. And he has grown up looking EXACTLY the way you like guys to grow up. You know, long dark hair... that sort of stuff. So I thought it might be interesting to pair you guys up together again..."

She went off to the screen once more to get dressed
"My heart ache Artemis. Please may you get me some blood?"

Artemis got up and stared to Aphrodite
"Are you insane?! If your heart aches, its not blood you want. Why must you pressure yourself? You think I don't hear you when you mumble that you're ugly, when you're the most beautiful thing the people in the House of Night has seen?! You scold yourself for a week when you almost trip. Aphrodite, we MUST find you someone. You obviously put too much stress on you! Why can't you just stop for a while? Live your life like it's golden! I bet you haven't kissed anyone ever since what happened between you and Dimitri! I will NOT get you blood!"
Artemis shook her head angrily
