Confused by Neix's statement he looked out the window again only for his eyes to be met with another pair of eyes glaring back at him. The demonic red eyes shined out through the darkness and even made Azer nervous.
"Neix, I think we need to get away from the windows."
He whispered and thought for a moment.
"We could go to my room, I hate windows so we'd be safer there. Unless you have somewhere safer."
Azer held Neix's face away from the window hoping he hadn't seen much of what was outside.

Neix thought for a moment. "Your room, now", Neix told him.

Azer took Neix's hand and lead his swiftly through the dorm and into the white and purple room. He slammed his door behind them and locked it before blocking off the crack underneath with his messenger bag. He turned back to Neix with fear in his eyes.
"Ir's a good thing I don't like the sunlight."
He stated trying to make a joke of things as he noticed the poster on his wall and in one swipe tore it down before sitting on the bed with a fake smile.

Neix qiuckly made a sign on the door so the shadows wouldn't pass. "Those shadow demons come into the dorms, so we needed protection", Neix explained the mark on the door. Neix walked over and sat on Azer's bed. "You didn't have to tear that down", Neix said to Azer.

"It's a little embarrassing."
Azer blushed picking the poster up from the floor and tossing it underneath the bed.
"How did you know to do that?"
Azer asked about the mark Neix had made as he moved as close to him as he could get while still being beside of him.

Neix looked down. "I know somebody who knew a lot of these things", Neix said to Azer.

"I guess we both have secrets."
Azer smiled before falling to his knees in pain from the sharp screeching echoing through the dorm. He hurriedly pulled Neix to the floor with him and held his head to his chest leaving his own ears exposed to the deafening noise.
Damn...Des...
Azer thought to himself as he realized they had left him beside of Neix's bed. He shook the thought from his mind and held Neix close to him protectively with his back to his bed and eyes on the door.

Neix tilted his head and wondered why Azer held his hands over Neix's eyes. All Neix heard was a light echo of what ever was going outside.

The searing noise dug into Azer's ears causing him to whine in pain while still attempting to muffle the noise from Neix. He closed his eyes and started thinking about lyrics, trying anything to get the noise from his ears.

Neix saw Azer hurt and put his hands over Azer's ears, and pushed hard on them to block out what ever was hurting him.

Azer relaxed a little, the tension in his neck easing as the sound dimmed under the grasp of Neix. Azer sat there, his eyes a worried mess connecting with Neix's stormy corneas. He placed a light kiss on Neix's lips in appreciation.

Azer put his forehead to Neix's and concentrated on the man's heartbeat through their connection of hands, Neix's heart was pulsing furiously. As the muffled screech halted he let his hands fall into Neix's lap.

Neix let his hands fall to and jumped when he heard the pounding. Neix got up and checked the symbol and then gasped, because when he touched it, his elemental power oflight bursted out of his hand and shot a wave of darkness across teh school, and across the lake to the other school. When the light fell, Neix fainted on the floor.

"Neix..."
Azer cautiously made his way across the floor to where Neix lay. He held his head in his lap and brushed through his hair.
"You can't be unconscious again, I need to know what's happening."
