Jack&Harold "I say we cut our travel time in half by finding a car.You can sleep on the way..I haven't felt sleepy since the day I died",Jack suggested.He pointed to a used car lot and began walking in that direction.He walked past all the cars and inside,alongside Zera.

  ~Zera~ Zera said, "Okay." as she followed him to the used car parking lot. Then she separated to go look for the keys in the store with her machete ready in case she ran into any zombies other than Jack. After a while she came out with keys to a hummer and threw them to Jack as she climbed in the passenger side.

Jack&Harold "That's what I'm talking about",A grin spread across jack's face,looking at the massive vehicle.He climbed in,threw the pack in the back seat,and turned the key in the ignition."If you don't mind pull out that map and tell me where we're heading",Jack proposed,concentrating on avoiding the cars strewn about the streets.

~Zera~ "I'm not good with a map, but I'll try." she said as she pulled out the map and found out where they were. After a while of staring at the map she finally said ,"We need to go east about 30 miles to get to the next city, so we need to get on the highway." then she put away the map and looked out the window. After a while Zera started to dose off and when she finally let herself go to sleep she leaned her head on Jack's shoulder not really knowing what she just did.

Jack&Harold Jack heeded the directions,turning off onto the highway.Jack watched as it turned dark and he had only the headlights to see.He blushed lightly as he noticed Zera fall asleep on his shoulder.He kept his movements on the wheel subtle,careful not to wake the dark haired angel.

~Zera~ Zera soon woke up when the hummer hit a bump and she noticed that she had been sleeping on Jack's shoulder. She quickly sat up and slid away from him saying, "Sorry..I did mean to fall asleep on you....sorry." as she blushed and stared out the window noticing it was dark now and they were on the highway. She cleared her throat and said, "We should keep going without stopping tonight. I'm gonna sit on the roof of the hummer to get some fresh air." as she opened the door and made her to the roof and sat letting the wind go through her hair.

Jack&Harold "It's ok,It was kinda cute",Jack replied smiling with slightly flushed cheeks.Jack let his movements on the wheel return to normal."Don't fall",Jack yelled as Zera crawled onto the roof.She really is an odd one isn't she? Of course,She'd have to be to flirt with a monster like me,Jack thought to himself.His mood turned slightly depressed as he glanced at his cold grey hands grasped tightly around the wheel.He turned his attention back to the road and saw a few cars dotting the highway next to the turnoff.They had reached the first city.He didn't pull off and kept heading towards the airport,like Zera had suggested.He swerved around the totaled cars slowly,as not to knock Zera off.Soon the highway in front of them was clear and he sped back up."Zera..you still there?",He knocked his hand against the roof loudly.

~Zera~ Zera held on when he swerved then sped up, "Yep. Your not going to lose me that easily." she said as she started smiling at the speed they were going. She closed her eyes as the wind blew her hair everywhere, loving the feeling. After a while she went back into the car, fixed her wild hair, and grabbed a bottle of water and drank some of it. "Do you want some water? Or do you do you drink?" she asked while handing him the water.

Jack&Harold "Good",Jack grinned speeding up a little more.He kept driving the seemingly endless path of asphalt."Nah..Thats ok.It'd be a waste either way",Jack replied handing the bottle back to Zera.

~Zera~ "True." Zera put the water back in the bag and crawled into the back of the hummer to check and clean her guns and to sharpen her machetes.

Jack&Harold Jack continued driving and soon enough the first rays of light peeked out from behind the horizon.It wasn't long before they reached the cutoff for the city.It,like the last,was strewn with cars.Jack dodged them,pulling off of the highway."Now..Where's the airport?",Jack asked himself loud enough for Zera's ears to hear.

~Zera~ Zera climbed back up to the front and pulled out the map to find the airport. "It's near the coast about 10 miles from here, just follow the airport signs." she said after a while. Zera put the map away and looked at Jack wondering what he's thinking about.

Jack&Harold Jack drove through the car strewn streets slowly,a concentration of zombies ahead."Time for a little hit and run",Jack grinned,changing gears,and ramming through the mindless crowd at top speed.The windshield quickly became sprayed with streams of blood and bits of flesh.Once they had gotten through the crowd he pulled off on the road with the airport sign.They would be there in less than a minute."So how are we gonna do this? I say we grab some food and water,get as much fuel into one of the jets,and get our a** off the ground.,Jack planned waiting for Zera's input.

~Zera~ "Sounds like a plan to me, but I will meet you at one of the private jets. I have some things to take care of." she said as she got out of the car looked around.

Jack&Harold "Don't get yourself killed",Jack replied.He reached over and shut the cardoor,turning the car back on and driving to the back of the building where they kept the planes.He crawled out of the hummer and into the nearest small jet.He drove it over to the jet fuel tanks,only to find them empty.He drove it over to another jet and siphoned fuel off out of the tank into his.Jack decided to look inside for some supplies while it was pouring fuel into the tank.He noticed how crammed full of zombies the airport was.He found a small Mcdonalds inside and grabbed a few bottled waters,stuffing them into a bag.Alot of the food was spoiled,aside from frozen burgers which would have been too much of a pain.He moved on to a nearby vending machine,taking his elbow and repeatedly ramming the glass.He grabbed most of the well preserved snacks,stuffing them into the bag.This attracted quite a few zombies.They walked close to see what the commotion was about,but only found a fellow zombie.Jack took special notice to one in a cop uniform.Jack pushed it down and stripped it of its belt.With his utility belt and bag full of goods,he traveled back outside to the jet.He grabbed everything from the hummer and threw it into the jet.The tank was full and he pulled the hose out of the tank,securing it for takeoff.He was ready to go,waiting only on Zera.
