C.J. laughed a little. "Naw . . . I was lookin' for a place to stay for tonight. Heard trouble was brewing that was gonna make traffic hell . . . no way I'd be going back to Baltimore in THAT!" he said with a shrug.

"Mh. Well I hope you've got money to spare. Not many places around here stay for cheap. Except the streets. Or whatever shelter you can find." he replied.

C.J. smirked. "That was th' idea . . ." he growled, pointing back to the building with his thumb. "'Til the lan'lord had other ideas."

Vice let a knowing smirk cross his face. "Yes, well...count yourself lucky that you did get kicked out. Not to be all cliche horror movie or anything, but I doubt you would have lasted the night in there. You'd never leave that place agian." he replied.

C.J. looked at the guy funny, then back at the hotel. "Funny, it does look structurally sound, but then again . . . ghosts don't give a crap for that sorta thing." the young guitarist said as he leaned up against the truck. "Musta been a nice place though." he said.

"Oh, it's quite nice cleaned up. But I'm sure you'd find it rather 1408 after about an hour." Vice said, looking up towards the top of the building. "Or worse. There's always worse."

C.J. looked confused. "I never saw 1408 . . . more of a Vincent Price guy m'self." he said as he looked up too. "See anything?" he asked.

"Really? The room itself drives you pretty much insane until it kills you or you do the job yourself." Vice replied, then looked back at him. He gave him a considering look, as well as his guitar. "What do you play exactly? If I had to guess I'd say countrey or something."

C.J. nodded, shuddering a little bit. "Scary thought." he said. He lightened up when Vice asked him what he played. "Well, a li'l everything. Country, Rock N' Roll, Blues . . . mostly Blues though. D'you play any?" he asked, a little surprised. He had finished tuning before getting ousted by the "spirits". He was still a little skeptic.

Vice smiled, and a nostalgic look glazed over his expression. "Used to." he replied. "Years ago. J-Pop, Rock, A. Smith, Fallout Boy...that kind of stuff."

C.J. shrugged. "Nothin' wrong with that. Good soundin' stuff." he said as he leaned against the car, putting the Danelectro back into the case. It'd probably be a while before he'd be able to play around the building without something breaking . . . again.

Vice glanced back over at him and smiled. "Glad you think so." he replied, then blinked and took a quick glance up towards the upper level of the hotel again. There wasn't anything there, but something seemed to be bugging him about a few of the windows. He turned his attention towards C.J. again. "So did you just get into town?"

C.J. smirked. "Since last Tuesday. Before that, had a nice little run in a Tent show out in Bangor." He said as he looked up at the windows. "See somethin'?" he asked.

((Quick fact! Sopa in Spanish means soup. Perhaps they shouldn't censor us, but I'd like a bowl of gumbo!))
C.J. looked up and smirked. "Must be th' way the light's hitting it. Kinda hard to tell 'round here." he said, leaning up against the car. It had been a long stay in town, he just wanted a place to sleep that wasn't the shotgun seat of his car.
