It's good to keep your options open, but we only have 3 hours till end of day; we can't zigzag right down until lynching time or we'll mess up for sure.

I'm gonna go take a shower, hopefully we'll hear something from Mandy or Owwin by the time I get back.

EDIT: Actually we have 3 hours and 15 minutes, but whatever.

Can you reiterate the points for your suspicions on Mandy? I don't think I've seen more than two posts from her; not much to base a vote off of.

that is suspicious in and of itself isn't it?
Mandy didn't claim she wouldn't be around did she? I didn't check so I don't know
but if she didn't then why has she only posted twice?
in my eyes lurking casts you in a very bad light and shouldn't be done if avoidable

there's also the fact that she started talk which lead to a No Lynch vote on Day 1
that's a very bad thing

maybe that's not what she meant by her words, maybe it was all a big mistake
but even still
if she's Town and she's making a mistake that big she's dangerous and needs to go
ditto anyone else who continues to tote No Lynch as a good idea
it's not
we're being killed off every day by the Mafia
we have a Serial Killer as well

I still think if we follow leads toward the potential Christopher Robin that we're making the best choice. He may be a vigilante, but he's a blind vigilante, and the chances of him hitting a town are way higher than the chances of him hitting a mafia. Not to mention, the Serial wins the game if everyone is eliminated, so he doesn't care about and therefore likely won't put much thought into the role/alignment of who he hits. That seems like too big a risk to take to me.

the only reason CR should be going after Town right now is if someone's on to him
oh and kanga (assuming she can prevent death by CR)
other than that his target SHOULD be the Mafia

so other than incompetence I think CR should be all but working with us
for the time being anyway

hey if you can find him
great
let's lynch him now
one less scum to deal with

but if you don't already have a decent idea of who it might be (there are a lot of reasons owwin might not be CR) then I say we move on for now and focus and getting Mafia
I trust CR to do the same

I'll be semi-AFK doing laundry and making dinner and doing all that female stuff. But I'll be back and make a big recap post or something before end of day, if I can do something to get rid of this lethargy. gonk

If neither Mandy nor Owwin shows up to defend themselves tonight, vote Owwin. If either does, I'll retract it to reconsider any new evidence, but as it stands I am confident that I have him pinned as CR.

EDIT: What makes you think CR's target should be the Mafia? If he's immune to Mafia kills like most Serials are, then he wants them around as long as possible to rack up the body count.

well, since they dont have a high chance of victory, what stops them from jsut destroying people randomly and trying to make as big a dent as possible?

That's generally what they do. razz That's why I'm confused that Riv seems to think the serial values one side's lives over the other; the only person CR would logically be hunting is the Sly Woozle, Owl, or Kanga, as those three roles are the most detrimental to their chances. And 2/3 of those roles are valuable Town ones, which is why I don't much fancy keeping anyone around I even remotely suspect of being the CR.

I'm not convinced owwin is CR

I mean really
there are a lot of reasons why CR didn't use his ability last night

let's go over them from least likely to most

1. Kanga protected his Target
2. Gopher protected his Target
3. Gopher roleblocked him
4. he decided not to use his Power
5. Sly Woozle roleblocked him
6. his Target was Roo
7. Christopher Robin is Owwin who has been inactive

yes
I agree
Owwin is most likely CR
BUT
the fact that there's 6 other possibilities
leads me to believe that we shouldn't condemn Owwin just based on what happened

like I said before
the SK should be working with Town in the beginning
if Owwin IS the SK...well
we "know" now and can eliminate him when the timing is good can't we?

first I address your comment about SK targeting Mafia and such

you can chalk that up to inexperience
I only had experience with one SK ever and they were lynched on Day 1 and so weren't discussed much
I was unaware they would be immune to Mafia Kills
if that's the case then yes as you said in the quoted material above they have better targets

so yes
it changes my perspective on SK a little bit

however I still don't think we should lynch Owwin at this time

i do still have a gut feeling that he may be CR. i know we don't have much to go on but i will just have to go through the posts again and really start some serious thinking before the end of day 2.

The Sly Woozle can only roleblock, not kill. Taking them out before CR would help him, not to mention Gopher can also have a roleblocking effect, so it wouldn't really narrow it down too much for us.

I think we should focus less, however, on which role to look for and instead focus on who could be which role.
