The number this time is 42 (meaning of life and all, hehe) I just don't know between what numbers and I haven't decided on a prize yet.

I'm all for something close to 500, it lasted long enough to keep us coming back but not soo long that people got bored out of it

It depends on the prize, really. If it's something small I was going to do 1-250 (like if it was gold). If it's a nicer prize I was going to stay at the 1-500. I should know some time tomorrow what the new prize will be.

SO there is a psychic fair at our local pagan store on Saturday and I'm reading, but the woman who is running it has spoken out against my women's group. Her position seems to be that spiritually she can no longer support my group, but its fine if I go and make money for her at her psychic fair which benefits her Mabon fest which she is also happy to have me support. I really want to be childish and not go, but I feel I need to honor my committment

It's up to you ultimately to decide what to do, but it doesn't seem to be an easy choice. Both options are valid (you honoring your commitment versus pulling out because she has spoken out against your woman's group). It sounds like she is the one being childish, and I for one would not blame you for not supporting her. However, it is also good to set an example and follow through with your promise. Either way it happens, let us know how things go. I hope things turn out well whichever way you go.
