So after a doctors visit I found out some things that chemo does to your lymph nodes. They will go down a little in size, but you cant expect them to go down completely. (Usually thats how you tell if you have Cancer) Like for example with mine... I had a large one in my neck, they took it out, did a biopsy and found out it was cancerous. But unfortunately chemo will leave scar tissue on some organs including your lymph nodes.
I had to get surgery for a mass in my chest. Luckily it wasnt cancer, but seemed to be the effects of a chemo drug I was taking that leaves scar tissue.
Ah the trials people have to go through, thank god I dont have to do radiation. But most lymphoma patients dont have to because it effects a large area. For me I have stage 3, which according to my doctor for the type I have it only has 4 stages last one effects your bones.
Sorry I find all this interesting because of how little I knew about any of this before. Im not trying to scare anyone about chemo, its a horrible thing... I wont sugar cote it... but if helps prolong/save a life its seen for the better then the worse.
