Kai stood up. "Right, I'm tired of this monkey suit anyways." He walked over to the cabin door of the plane and opened it, jumping out into the void and vanishing, reappearing in the food court. The sky was growing dark.

"I've always wanted to skydive." Devon said before jumping off the plane. He landed ungracefully next to Kai.

Kai looked at Devon and snickered. "Nice landing." He looked at the sky. "It's getting pretty dark, time moves really weird in those two places." A boy appeared next to them. "Wowza! I haven't been in this place for a while...doesn't look like Inaba though..."

The boy, Teddie huffed. "No! I lived in the real world for a while before too! A shadow is entitled to his fun every now and then."
Kai stared at Teddi even stranger. "You're a shadow?"
Teddie nodded. "When I got my persona, I got this body."

Kai frowned. "Those exist?"
Teddie nodded. "Sometimes, shadows can develop egos, I was a shadow with a shadow once. But my Sensei defeated it, and I got Kamui."

Teddie looked at the sky, lost in thought. "I had another one before Kai-sensei...I had a whole group of friends too, we saved people from the shadows a long time ago."
