lol...why does you not like cookie monster???

Just the opposite. I love Cookie Monster and Elmo and Sesame Street in general, but they're going to start having Cookie Monster eat more fruits and stuff than cookies, to try to send the message to kids that they should eat right. And it makes me mad. I mean, he's a Cookie Monster! He's SUPPOSED to eat cookies! He's eaten cookies for as long as I've known about him (he ate the letter "C" once, too). It's just sad. I mean, I grew up watching him eat cookies like a madman, but I don't have the urge to eat cookies all the time. Rarr.

eek OMG! theyre changing his diet?!!...thats not right! hes a cookie monster and shouldnt eat more than cookies...the rest of sesame street can have its diet more healthy...MAYBEH! but not cookie monster! stoopid PBS ppl xp xp xp

I know. Are they going to correct his speech too? crying Cookies aren't just a "sometime food" for a Cookie Monster. They're his life! Without them, he's just a common monster! They're going to take away what makes him special! He's the symbol of children's love for sweets and their hunger for candy. That's how he relates to the viewers. He's obsessive, he's insane, if there's a cookie around, he'll eat it. I spend a lot of time with a young girl, and when she's hungry for a cookie, she acts a whole lot like Cookie Monster.
